Love at 30,000 feet

It was a rainy monday morming. 7 Am, school starts at 08:30. Maya is 15 years old, she has long brown hair, dark green eyes that tells you she’s beautiful. I sleep until i hear the awful sound of the Alarm clock. I didn’t want to get up beacuse i was tired but had no chose to stand up. As i put my feet down i slams my hand and turn off the alarm. I sits up in my bed bearly can open my eyes as i hears ‘’You awake Maya!’’ By my mom. I signs and answers ‘’Yeah’’ with a tired tone as i’m walking to the bathroom. I walks up to the kitchen finding the breakfast readh on the table. Waffles ready on the table and you can smell the beautiful smell of warm waffles. ‘’Good morning darling’’ Loise mu mom says. ‘’ Good morning’’ I say while starting to wake up to the good smell of waffles! I sits down at the table, ‘’Dad leaved early for work today he has gone on a trip to Singapore with he’s job so if Sofie wants to have a sleepover here this week that would be lovely’’ i started smiling as i said ‘’Thank you mom! Imma ask her at school today’’ When i was done eating i go down to the bathroom, i brushes my hair as i does my makeup. I heard my phone vibrated, i got a text from Sofie.

i puts my phone in my pocket and ready to walk out the door, ‘’Bye mom!’’ She yelled, ‘’Bye sweetie!’’

I walks om the bus to school, As i sat down i spottet this new boy i had never seen before. He had dark brown fluffy hair, beautiufl dark blue eyes i could’t stop staring in to.. A black hoodie with a pair of Baggy jeans, Tall and actually kinda cute. The buss stops and i walks off. When i’m at the school Sofie’s coming running up to me ‘’Heyyyy!!!’’ ‘’omg heyyy’’ i answerd with a big real smile! It’s 08:20 and they start walking to the classroom as they talk about everything. The bell rings and everyone sits down at their seats. Sofie and Maya sits togheter and giggles as they talk about Sofie and her crush Leon. ‘’Good morning studens, Today we will start our morning by going to the school liberary to find a book we’ll like to read in the mornings’’ The teacher said while smiling. ‘’Omg i don’t wanna readdd!’’ Sofie sayss with a tired voice but giggles too! ‘’It’s fineee Sofieee, you just need to find the right book!’’

They walk up to the liberary as Maya starts checking the Plane books. She sees a book ‘’30,000 feet above the ground’’ A book about pilots and everything in Aviation! She tries stretching up but isn’t tall enoght. As she streched she hears foot steps behind her she turns around seeing thw boy she saw at the buss yesturday. He graps the book and gives it to her. He gives her a weird look and says ‘’You into planes?’’ I stare him in the eyes teying not to make it awkward, ‘’Yeah, Wanted to become an pilot since i was 7 so planes really the only thing i wanna read about’’ She says and let out a little friendly smile. ‘’Wow me too, thought i was the only one’’ He said letting out a littlw giggle, ‘’Wanted to become and pilot since i was 6, have had i few flight lessions so far but soon i’ll take flight school’’ Maya smiled as she said ‘’Wow that’s amazing! I have never actually met someone who wants the same as me’’ As they talk a little bit Sofie spottet them, she come closer and started smiling, Maya saw her smiling and giving the look! As Maya saw her she ended thw convesasion ‘’Nice to meet you but i really gotta go now’’ she said as she replyd ‘’Yes of couse! Cya’’

i walks up to Sofie as Sofie said ‘’LOOKED LIKE YOU ENJOYD TALKING WITH THE NEW STUDENT! I laughed a little bit as she said ‘’Nah it was nothing, He’s name is Noah he also wanted to become an pilot so i thought it was cool finally having one that undertands plane talk you know’’ she said laughing!

School’s over and me and Sofie walks home toghether. They open the door, ‘’Hello, Anyone home?’’ Nobody answered, ‘’Mom’s probly at work at this time’’ They hang their jackets and lays in bed studying to the exam next week. ‘’How am i gonna pass this fucking exam! I can’t even understand what this means’’ Sofie said, ‘’Hey don’t worry! I’ll help you study and understand!’’ Time passed till the clock hits 10:40 pm and The door We heard the door open, ‘’Hello i’m home’’ It’s Mom, ‘’Hello mom! We have eating so don’t worry about that’’ ‘’Oh hey Sofie! Good to see u again!’’ Sofie smiled ‘’Thank you good to see you too lois!’’ Lois smiled as she closed the door to their room and walked upstairs.

Soon the time hits 00:00 and they are ready to go to bed. ‘’Hey Maya i have a question..’’ i tilts my head down to look at Sofie as she says ‘’What’s up?’’ Sofie smiles weirdly and say ‘’Did u maybe.. Get Noah’s number by any chanse?’’ She says and breaking down in laugh! ‘’SOFIE!’’ They both laughed and i said ‘’But yea i did’’ Sofie gave the look that say everything! ‘’Do you like him?’’ Sofie giggles! ‘’What NO!!! We met today!’’they desided to sleep now as they said goodnight. I turns around and starts smiling..

i open my eyes, took a deep breath as i turns around to check the clock… i grab my phone and the strong light glace at my face as she soon opens i eyes and see it stands 08:03

‘’SOFIE! WE’RE LATE!’’ I yelled as Sofie openes her eyes and saw the clock. ‘’SHIT’’ They got up from bed and changes quickly and took a banana till breakfast as they’re running late! They came to school 08:28 2 minutes before school starts!

‘’That was a close one!’’ Sofie said breathing like she had just ran the maraton!

They sat down at their seats in the classroom as their teacher said ‘’ Today yall gonna find a partner and your gonna talk and study about what yall wanna be when you grow up, the whole Millavine high is gonna join so you can partner up with people from 8-10 grade’’ i go to the libarary with her study notes and books. ‘’hey you wanna partner up?’’ She turns around and see this blonde boy named Chad. ‘’Oh no thank you it’s fine’’ i said trying to be friendly, Chad took my hand and said ‘’No we will be great! Come an give it an chanse!’’ I raiste up and tool my hand away and said ‘’I said no!’’ He started to get angry and hold around my waist and tool me into the wall, i wasn’t strong enoght to fight back but then, ‘’Let her go chad!’’ It was Noah, Chad stopped beacuse he knew he’d no change so he left. ‘’I am so sorry about that!’’ As he came up to me and asked if i was Okay. ‘’Thank you’’ i said started crying a bit and gave him a hug. I didn’t want to stop, ‘’It’s fine now, Wanna partner up for the project?’’ I smile and let go and said ‘’Yeah’’ with a big smile!

We laughed and talked, about facts and everything! ‘’You exited for the trip to Singapore after summer brake?’’ He said, ‘’uh YEAH We literally get to fly with the whole school!’’ ‘’I knoww!! Wanna join asking if we can get in the cockpit?’’ I smile and said ‘’Yeah! That would be awsome!’’

We studied the whole school day and talked and got to know each other more. As the bell rang i loocked up in he’s eyes and said ‘’I really enjoy this day’’ ‘’Me too!’’ He says as he gives me a hug and says bye.

I walked down the parking and saw Sofie waiting for me, ‘’Heyy girly! Had fun??’’ I smiled and said ‘’Yeah me and Noah studided and stalked the whole school day!’’

Sofie get’s exited ‘’OMG NEW SHIP!’’ I started laughing and they both walked home. As they were home and Mom cocked dinner i texed Noah.

Next morning 7Am the alarm goes of. It’s the last school day before summer brake. The Sun is almost whole, I wasn’t tired when i woke op to the beautiful orange sun shining in my face. ‘’Good morning’’ ‘ Good morning’’ Sofie says with a smile on her face knowing her boyfriend is waiting at school today. As they do their makeup they eat a sandwich till breakfast so they could come a little early to school today. They meet up to the school 07:34, Sofie goes to her boyfriend Leon while i go to the library to study to the exam today. I needed to use the bathroom but as i walk doen the stairs i see Noah kissing another girl, i could’t move by the time he they were done he saw me and yelled ‘’IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK’’ My eyes got teared up and a ran away and locked the bathroom. I sat there for like 30 minutes then the bell rang and i meeted up at the classroom, we had the exam now and the teacher gave out the papers but i could’t focus just thinking about Noah and that girl. I got the papers and started the test.

Mid in the test i started needing to go to the bathroom again, ‘’shit’’ i say and think i got mh period.. I raised my hand ‘’Can i go to the bathroom?’’ The teacher nodd yes as i walked out the classroom. I walked to the bathroom and got a pad. I walked out of the bathroom and see Noah walking towards me. ‘’Hey i need to tall to you’’ he says worried, ‘’Sure you want but i’m not interesed in what u have to say!’’ I yelled. I walked pass him and went to the classroom again. The clock hits 4Pm and the school bell rang and everyone started packing up. I walked out of the classroom and said bye to the teacher and Sofie and walked home.

It’s summer brake, I had fun, enjoyed the time with my friends, i didn’t talk to Noah for the whole 2 months beacuse i could’t hear the thought of he kissing Samantha i belive her name was, but in summer brake i realised something. Noah’s best friend Marcus, He came to me and told everything 2 days before school start and School trip to singapore. He said Noah didn’t want to kiss that girl but it was a dare, Someone said they would tell that he liked me if he didn’t kiss Samantha. And i did realise i do have feelings for him.. And tomorrow 9th grade and 10th grade are going to a school trip to Singapore.

Teacher: Hello eveyone! Tomorrow it’s the big day! We are leaving 9Am in the morning and meet up at the Airport in that time. The plane leaves 12 pm so meet up. Pack things for 7 days see yall!

It’s 8am and i just woke up. The sun is shining as always! I’m in a good mood knowing i’m gonna fly. I have packed my bags ready, Brushed my teeth, age breakfast and now i’m saying bye to mom.

I was waiting at the bus station to find Sofie waiting in the corner for me. I walked slowly up to her ‘’i’m so nervous!’’ I said while smiling, ‘’Me too but girl! This is gonna be amazing!’’ We met up to the airport to find everyone waiting. We have taken out our tickets and has been in the security, now we are only waiting for the plane to get ready.

I exited scanned my pass and walked to my seat 36A. As i looked for my seat i found Noah sitting beside my seat, I took a deep breath and asked ‘’Hello i sit here can you please move so i can get the window seat?’’ He smiled and i could’t do it anymore so i smiled back as he raised and i sat down. ‘’Hey i’m sorry about what happend’’ noah said but i smiled and said ‘’Hey it’s fine Marcus tolf me everything i’m sorry for not trusting you’’

The plane start moving and we shortly took off. I fell asleep for 5 hours, I suddenly hear a voice ‘’Hey wake up sleepy head’’ Noah says smiling while i wake up to the beautiful sunset. ‘’I thought you’d like to see the sunset since that’s your favourite part of the day’’ I could’t stop smiling, he really remembered that i only said it once. ‘’You remembered?’’ I said and it felt like my heart would explode. ‘’How could i forget?’’ We both smiled, i looked up and stared him in he’s beautiful blue eyes. He smiled back at me while the orange sun shined om us. He came closer, so did i, until our lips met. It felt like nothing mattered just him. As we slowly pull away we could’t stop smiling, He stares at me with the most beautiful smile ever, ‘’I love you’’ it felt like my heart was exploding! ‘’I love you too Noah’’ I said as i pull him into longer kiss.

We landed at 9Am the next day. As we walked out of the plane me and Noah stopped by the cockpit ‘’Hey could we come in? We have wanted to become a pilot since she was 7 and i was 6’’ They happly wanted us is and this was the best part of the vacation. I got to fly, go to Singapore, visit the cockpit with my now boyfriend! I thought i would never say that!

We had the best vacation ever! Me and Niah are officaly Together! Sofie and Leon too! And best of all, I get to expirience so much with my boyfriend!
