"Ok so depending on if you all checked reviews as closely as I do you will have seen I binged all 3 books in 2-3 days! This one was my favorite. Seeing from Casey’s point of you the struggles a transperson goes through is so deeply moving. My daughter’s best friend is trans and she has gone through so many of the same things. Her father practically disowned her, her classmates didn’t understand when she was in HS, the laws don’t support her in out state. This book shows the inner voice they hear so often. I lived the support system Casey had. Alexis is seriously a life goal of who I want to be! That woman was a force to be reckoned with. Thank you Poppy for writing such amazing books about real issues people face. "

A true gem of a story
"Everyone at some stage of their life doesn't feel comfortable in their own skin. And some certainly more than others due to expectations, judgments, and societal norms. This is such a beautiful story about coming into your own with playful commentary to keep things lighthearted even when things get tough. Not everything is rainbows and butterflies but then again neither is real life. I highly recommend this book. "
