●Chapter 1
Aathina's pov
"Your reports are fine now. But still I suggest you to not overwork your body. And yeah, your discharge fom hospital is granted." My doctor said scanning through my reports as I sat on the hospital bed having lunch.
I nodded and replied, "alright then, I'll leave in a while"
The doctor came closer to me. "Dear, if you have any other problem, don't think you're alone, I'm always there, okay?" She smiled and walked out.
Too sympathetic. Considering how my parents just payed the hospital bill and left, anyone would be this sympathetic.
As I walked out of the hospital, the air finally hit through my lungs. Finally.
A week of having dengue was worse. And the food at hospital? More worse.
My home has been missing me a lot, so did I. After taking a long shower and sat down to complete all my pending assignments of the week. I'm used to sitting a long time studying but now my efficiency is decreased.
I worked till my laptop's battery was dead. Final I got up taking off my glasses. It was past twelve at night. It was the time.
I looked at my black body suit hung in my wardrobe. And of course, the shining leather masquerade eye mask.
Its been a while.
I grabbed my phone and dialed a call. Within a second, the person answered the call. "Master, I'm coming tonight."
Alistair's pov
"You promised me, now you have to come with me. I don't know anything else." Ryaan protested like a child. I'm with him since we were kids, little did he change a bit.
"Whoh? I said I'll think about it, I didn't promise anything." I said lazily flopping on the couch beside him. "Besides, I don't wanna deal with Sasha."
"Seriously, dude? A little bit of party won't hurt. We'll only party till twelve and then you can have your beauty sleep", said Ryaan.
I just rolled my eyes. "Parties aren't my thing. "
"Come on, dude. You aren't attending a single party these days. Parties are empty without you." He said giving me that pleasing look to which I scoffed. "Fine. You're not coming, I'm not going either." He stood up crossing his arms.
"Okay, don't go." I said casually. I looked at the time. It was 11:45 pm. Almost twelve.
"By the way Ryaan, it's getting late, you should go home I mean, its getting late." I swung my arm around his shoulder and lead him to door.
"Sometimes you're weird, you know?" He said giving him a look.
"Tell me something I don't know. See you tomorrow, bro" I said waving him bye and closed the door.
I don't really like turning him away like that but what can I even do? I ran my fingers thought my messy hair.
Only if he knew.
I went up to my room put on my black body suit and how can forget, the shinny masquerade mask.
