The Permission to Be Human
The Permission to Be Human
I hope you learn that it is okay to be a soul that is still under construction.
We spend so much of our lives apologizing for the space we take up when we aren’t “fine,” or for the seasons where our light feels a little more dimmed than usual. We treat our healing like a race, looking at the people around us and wondering why their gardens are blooming while we are still standing in the mud.
But please, listen to me when I say: The dirt is where the growth begins.
You are allowed to be tired. You are allowed to not have the answers yet. You are allowed to be the version of yourself that is simply trying to survive the day. There is no shame in the “in-between.” There is no weakness in needing a moment to breathe before you decide how to move forward.
