Chapter One: Return to the Beginning
Year 2034.
The world was no longer the same.
Cities had turned into black ruins,
and the streets into rivers of blood…
Humans had become nothing more than prey.
At the heart of this hell stood Nier.
Facing monsters… one after another.
He was stronger than them—
but his body wasn’t.
A tremendous power surged within him, far beyond what he could ,
and every movement pushed his limits closer to breaking.
The monsters fell… one by one.
Then—
He stopped.
A strange feeling washed over him.
A crushing pressure…
as if the air itself had grown heavier.
His instincts screamed.
Danger.
Nier slowly raised his gaze.
And then… he saw it.
A figure standing amidst the destruction. Calm… too calm.
Its mere presence was enough to freeze the blood in his veins.
"This… is not like the others."
He didn’t wait.
He charged forward with everything he had.
Strike after strike—
with all his strength… all his desperation… everything he had left.
But—
He hit nothing.
In an instant—
Everything vanished.
Then—
A single blow.
Nier collapsed to the ground.
His body no longer responded…
his eyes barely able to stay open.
Slow footsteps approached him.
Then a voice… calm. Terrifying.
“Welcome, Nier… I am Sorius.”
He tried to move…
to fight…
But it was useless.
Darkness swallowed him.
Everything ended.

Nier’s eyes snapped open.
He gasped sharply, as if air had returned to him after death.
His breathing was frantic… his heart pounding violently.
He looked around.
A familiar place.
Too familiar.
"No… impossible…"
He moved slowly, as if his body refused to believe it.
This…
was his home.
Just as it was… before the destruction.
Before the monsters.
Before the end.
He froze in place.
"Am I… dreaming?"
He looked at his hand.
It wasn’t destroyed.
It wasn’t covered in scars.
Then—
His phone.
It was beside him.
He picked it up with a trembling hand.
The screen lit up.
2024.
His eyes widened.
He stepped back.
Then another step.
"Ten years…?"
His mind rejected it.
Did he die…?
Did he return?
Or had time itself… broken?
Before he could find an answer—
A roar.
From outside.
His body froze.
That sound…
He knew it well.
He slowly approached the window.
Looked outside.
…
Monsters.
Here.
Again.
Only then…
did the realization settle in.
This was not a chance.
This… was a test.
He clenched his fist.
Despite his weakened body… he could feel the power deep within him.
The same power.
But this time—
He would not lose.
He spoke in a low, cold voice:
“If this is the past…”
He paused for a moment.
Then a faint, merciless smile appeared on his face.
“Then I’ll turn it into a slaughterfield.”
Then he moved.
And the attack began.
