"Eine wunderschöne Liebesgeschichte, mit allen Irrungen und Wirrungen, die es so gibt und sie lässt sich auch wunderbar flüssig lesen. Ich konnte kaum aufhören mit dem lesen, so gefangen hat mich diese Geschichte und ich wollte nach jedem Kapitel unbedingt wissen, wie es weitergeht. Ich kann dieses Buch absolut empfehlen, zu lesen. Und es wird von dieser Autorin bestimmt nicht der letzte Roman gewesen sein, den ich gelesen habe. "

"There's so much to love about this book: - the fake relationship - the forced proximity - the island paradise - smokin' hot love scenes as we've come to expect from this author. I liked the way their physical relationship advanced in stages as they got to know one another and the feelings crept in. - Knox: the predator knowing exactly what he wants and going after it with single minded focus - this is why he's made it to the top of pro sports. The way he takes care of Alyssa. There was one scene near the end, the last love scene I think, where it might have been more fitting for her to give him what he needs to show mutual support. - I thought it was the right length with the right amount of drama. In terms of the other guy interested in Alyssa - I liked how she wasn't confused about him - that she didn't have any 'what if' type feelings - but I also wanted to see more of what she actually felt about him. I don't like it when characters cheat even if nothing is official (loyalty is important to me) so I thought that she navigated the situation well. Things I wondered about: - I was surprised about her reaction at the party, why would she be afraid? How did he know where Knox lived - the travel docs? And where the party was? - Knox should celebrate with the team after the big win - his job doesn't end when the whistle blows. Her joy from watching his joy. - I wanted Garrett to have his 'moment' on the field. - Where was the social media frenzy when Knox first picked Alyssa out of the crowd, when she was in the stands etc.? - I don't think the punch was needed, he should've just thrown him out. - I can't remember why Nate was working in a bar and rich enough to pay for people to go to tropical islands. Overall, absolutely addictive. Will definitely be coming back for more of this author's work. I'd really like a sequel for some of the other characters in the book 🙏"
