Until now, Eric's focus on duty and honor left little room for romance, and he never believed in love.On April 2, 1890, Anne attended an exhibition, she was overwhrilmed by joy and excitement which led her to behave like a child, as she ran through the crowds. In her enthusiasm, she accidentally hitted with a handsome young soldier, Eric. He instinctively caught her by the waist, and a spark of electricity ran through both of them. Anne quickly apologized, bowed, and hurried away, leaving Eric wondering the unexpected connection.Eric's s mind wrestled with conflicting emotions, his heart hinted at love, but his brain insisted it was just attraction. Memories of his troubled past his mother's departure and his father's subsequent death made him caution of love. Yet, Anne's smile lingered in his thoughts. The next day, Anne gathered the courage to approach Eric, but he initially ignored her. Eventually, they began talking, and their connection deepened. After a whirlwind romance, Anne proposed to Eric, and he hesitated only briefly, questioning whether she was prepared for the life of a soldier's wife. Anne reassured him, and they embarked on a beautiful journey together.However, their happiness was short-lived. When Anne's father discovered their relationship, he disapproved, refering Eric's humble background. Anne stood firm, and her father disowned her. For a poor boy, you're leaving your royal life?" he asked. Anne left without a word, choosing Eric over her luxurious upbringing. As they faced the challenges together, Eric was overcome with emotion, grateful for Anne's sacrifice. She smiled, reassuring him that nothing mattered more than their love. When Eric introduced Eren to Anne, saying, "This is my best friend," Anne's smile lit up the room. As she greeted Eren, their conversation flowed effortlessly, revealing a deep connection. It was as if they shared a special bond, like soulmates. Their words danced in perfect harmony, discussing shared interests and laughter. The air was filled with an undeniable chemistry, leaving Eric smiling knowingly, happy to see his loved one and best friend's bond.Years flew by, and it was now 1894. Eric had to leave for war, and he took yoon to a quaint café, promising to return. He asked her to wait, but fate had other plans. Anne went to different place insearch of work for her thrice 2months she used to visit her hometown waiting for Eric she even left some notes for him in a cafe were they usually meet. Seasons passed, and decades went by, but Eric never returned. Anne waited and waited but Eric didn't return she stared questioning there love but something inside her told again and again it's true and pure. She yearned for his presence but she only yearned more long he never returned. Anne can't wait anymore so she came to her hometown insearch of Eric but she wasn't aware what is gonna happen.Anne went to the same cafe which she usually used to visit to get back the memories with her and Eric, that time a waiter handed Anne a long-lost letter from Eric the love of her life. The undelivered message read: "If I don't make it, just know that I loved you every single day." Tears streamed down her face as she realized the depth of his love. She cried very hard that the whole people in the cafe were looking at her the waiter tried to consolidate her but failed. To be continued...
