Summary

I got everything a man can ever ask for: I got my wife, my dream job, my fans, and my best friend, who happens to be my brother, living right next door. Estella _aka my lovely wife, and I have been friends for about 7 years and been married for 4 months now, we didn't have a honeymoon because we thought we could have one in the near future, but mostly because Estella didn't want to waste money at the time, because of all the money we had wasted on the wedding and after party. My brother and I have a huge fan base because of our modeling career and part-time streams. "Babe," said my lovely wife "Yes, Estella," I replied and hugged her from behind. "Do you think it's time??" She said, turning around and facing me. "What? What do you mean?"I replied, confused. "A baby. A bigger family. "I notice she was nervous, but I was actually quite happy to hear this cause I didn't want to pressure her into having a baby until she was ready. "I thought you'd never ask, of course I want to create life with you,u" she smiled widely at my answer. I guess that was the only thing I was missing, but that's about to change.

Estella’s POV

Five months. 152 days have passed since I told Greyson I wanted to get pregnant, which we immediately started with all the proper cares and there’s still no sign of it. I mean, don’t get me worng I don´t mind trying again and again with him until we finally have a baby, But its frustated.

My mother’s words come back to me as I stare at my reflection. “Why get pregnant now? You have your whole life ahead of you.” And she’s right… But I’m an impatient person. I really want to build a family—to see a little person who carries both my DNA and Greyson’s.

The thought alone excites me.

“Hey, Estella… any sign yet?” Grey asks, taking my hands and pulling me close.

I frown. “No. It’s so frustrating.” staring at the pregnancy stick next to the bathroom sink.

“Hey, I want this too. Honestly, I think I might want it even more than you,” he says softly. “But I also know it takes time. For some people, it’s easy; for others, it’s harder. So please… turn that frown upside down.”

His words always make me feel better. Instead of answering, I kiss his face all over.

“I love you,” we both say at the same time.

“Jinx,” we add, laughing together.

I was trying to finish my homework when Eric came over to talk business with Grey, making way too much noise. I’m in my last year studying veterinary sciences, focused on farm animals—cows, pigs, horses. I’m happy, but also stressed. It feels like a lot of pressure.

It was 11:48 p.m., and Grey and I were watching a movie—like we do every Friday night. We were cuddling, but the movie started getting boring, so I began placing soft kisses along his neck.

He cupped my face with his hand and pulled me into a kiss that quickly deepened. I didn’t hesitate to respond.

By the time I realized what we were doing, it was already too late to stop—and honestly, I didn’t want to stop.

As the days went by, I started getting more worried.

I’m currently sitting in a doctor’s office, waiting to be called. I decided to make an appointment because of the whole pregnancy situation—it’s harder than I thought it would be.

Greyson thinks I’m at the mall with a friend. I didn’t want him to worry, so… I lied.

After almost two hours, I finally left. The doctor mentioned a few things that could be making it harder for me to get pregnant. I just hope it’s nothing serious. They took a blood sample and asked me to come back in two weeks.

On my way home, I ran into Eric.

“Hey, where did you go?” he asked.

“Oh… hey, Eric. I went to the mall.”

“Nice. What did you get?”

“Nothing. I was just looking at some baby stuff…” I replied nervously.

“So it’s official?” he asked, excited.

“No… not yet. Maybe soon,” I said, a little sad.

“Hey, don’t lose hope. Sooner or later, it’ll happen,” he said warmly.

I smiled. “Thanks. I’m going back to Grey now. Talk to you later.”

When I walked in, Greyson was lying on the couch.“Babe, I’m back.”

“Hey… finally,” he said, patting the spot next to him. I sat down, and he rubbed his neck.

“You want a massage?” I asked.

He nodded. I moved behind him and started working on his shoulders. “Yeah… right there,” he murmured. I smiled and leaned down, playfully brushing my lips against his neck before continuing. “What are you, a vampire?” he joked.

I giggled. “I could be, if you want me to.” He laughed, but it quickly turned into a yawn. “Let’s go to bed,” I said. “I’ll keep massaging you there.” He nodded and carried me to the room, bridal style.

Two weeks passed, and I almost got caught by Grey.

I told him I was going to my best friend Amy’s house, but I was actually going to pick up my test results. He offered to take me himself since he had time, so I had to improvise. I texted Amy, and she agreed to come pick me up.

To distract Grey, I told him we had fifteen minutes to ourselves. He didn’t hesitate.

In the end, all that trouble was for nothing. There had been a mix-up with my results. I had to redo the blood test and give a urine sample. I was furious—Amy had to calm me down.

Weeks went by. I kept researching possible reasons and reading articles. I even spent a week at a spa to reduce stress, but nothing helped.

At one point, I started wondering… what if it wasn’t me?

What if it was Greyson?

One evening, Greyson came rushing into the house holding a white envelope. My heart dropped when I saw the hospital stamp.

“Estella!” he called.

Shit.

“Babe, this came in the mail,” he said.

“What… what is it?” I asked nervously. He opened it—and smiled.

Relief flooded through me. I took the paper from him… but then I froze.

“These aren’t my results,” I said, confused. “Greyson… why do you have this?”

He looked at me seriously.

“You think I didn’t notice? For the past five weeks, your phone history has been all about getting pregnant,” he said. “I know how much this means to you. It means a lot to me, too.” He took a breath.

“So I did some research. And sometimes… It’s the guy. So I got tested.” I stared at him. “And I’m fine,” he said softly. “We just need time.” Tears slipped down my cheeks.

He wiped them away gently. “You make me really happy,” I whispered.

“I love you,” he replied. “I married you to make you happy for the rest of your life.” Then he kissed me.

“Wait… when did you do the test?” I asked.

“Eric took me that day we went out,” he admitted. “Sorry, I didn’t tell you. I didn’t want you to worry.”

“It’s okay,” I said. “I’m just glad you’re okay.” But inside… I was still scared.

What if something was wrong with me?

The weekend came quickly, and we visited my older brother, Peter. He has a four-year-old son named Brad. We spent the day talking, laughing, and catching up.

By the time we got home that night, I went straight to the kitchen to cook while Grey and Eric set up for a livestream. They game stream for a living. I stand near and hear them curse and laugh.

And for a moment… everything felt okay.
