Chapter 1

In this fantasy novel, a newborn child is placed in a basket and then on a magical river path by his biological mother, who is forced to let him go due to her strict status environment. To protect her newborn son's identity and her status as a mother, she puts her son in a floating basket, covering him with her special magical clothes to keep him warm. She also places two tiny magical crystal bracelets on his wrists for protection.

Holding the basket, the lady in a green cape walks through the thick green forest toward the magical riverbank, making sure no one sees her. It’s in early winter, and snow is lightly falling in the night sky. She sits by the riverbank, placing the basket with her newborn son in the river. Her tears fall onto the magical clothes covering the child in the basket.

The newborn boy’s eyes are closed, but he smiles in his sleep. The lady gazes at him and says, "My son, please forgive me for not being with you. I have no choice; this is the only way for both of us to survive. I have imprinted all my magical knowledge and experience into your memory. Someday, when you grow up, the magic I’ve given you will reveal itself. I have also placed my image imprint in your memory, ensuring you will recognize me when we meet again."

Touching her son’s face, her tears fall onto his clothing. She places her left hand on the basket and casts a spell. The basket slowly moves to the center of the magical river. The lady in the green cape watches as her child floats away in the basket on the magical river, walking along the riverbank to keep her child in sight.

Suddenly, she hears voices down the stream; they sound like people conversing and shouting. Quickly, she raises her hands, summoning a magical portal that appears directly in the basket’s path, a green oval portal that resembles fog.

The basket with the newborn child moves straight into the oval portal and disappears as it enters. The lady gazes at the river and whispers, "My son, our paths will cross again, and we will be united as mother and son. Be safe."

After a moment, the green cape lady turns and walks away from the river. Gradually, she vanishes without a trace. Nearby, one of the people standing by the riverbank notices the oval portal fog hovering over the water and points it out to his companions. However, when they look, the portal is slowly dissipating, leaving only the normal sight of flowing water.

One man comments, "It’s the first snowfall of the season, which can create illusions of fog or mysteries over the river. That’s why it’s called the magical river, right? Haha..."

They all share a laugh and return to their campfire along the riverbank. Meanwhile, a basket has passed through the green portal created by the lady in the green cape and reappears in the middle of a river in a different region. The river flows downstream from a mountain above, heading towards a large castle that houses the Magic Academy, filled with advisers and students.

As the sun sets, the river flows gently. A person dressed in white is walking along the riverbank, picking up small rocks and throwing them into the water, mumbling to herself. As she walks, she throws rocks into the river, gesturing with her words and pointing at the academy on the mountain. She says, “I don’t want to be the head of the academy! You’re all just forcing me into this role. This is so ridiculous, and I don’t want to be confined to one place. I want to travel, go on adventures, enjoy my freedom, eat whatever I want, and do whatever I please. This is so annoying. Hics…”

While she continues to walk beside the river and talk to herself, she notices the basket floating on the water. Curious, she moves closer and sees the basket drifting downstream. Suddenly, she hears a child's voice coming from the basket. At first, she is unsure of what she’s hearing, the cries of a child from the direction of the floating basket. She rushes ahead of it, raises her hand, and uses her magic to lift the basket above the river and bring it closer to her, flying over the water.

Using her magic, she gently places the basket on the shore of the riverbank. As she looks inside, she sees a newborn child wrapped in a white cloth, smiling up at her. Slowly, she moves closer, sits down beside the basket, and gazes at the baby. "No way… This is not possible… You are a newborn child, and you’re in this basket floating on the river? Really? Who could do such a thing? Oh… Wow… Hey… Little boy… Are you all right? Do you need anything?"

The newborn boy keeps smiling at her. The lady in white smiles back and asks, "Hey… What’s your name? How did you end up in this basket drifting on the river beneath the academy? Hey..."

The newborn looks at her and continues to smile. She gently picks him up into her arms and says, "All right, you’ll be fine. I’ve got you, and you will be all right. You’re with me now… Oh, by the way, I asked for your name but didn’t introduce myself, right? Am I? All right, I am the new head of the Light Magic Academy. You know, I didn’t want it, but the academy’s advisers voted for me to be their head. I suppose that's me now, since the votes have been cast, and I've won them all. I’m not sure whether being a head is a good fit for me. Oh, well… Now, what’s my name? I guess you want to know, don’t you? Hihi..."

The lady in white holds the newborn in her arms, playing by gently touching his face and lips. The baby looks at her, still smiling. She adds, "All right, you don’t know my name yet, and I have no clue what yours is. Let me introduce myself first, if you don't mind. Yes..."

The newborn baby smiled, looking at the girl in white cloth, then she touched the baby's lips, and said, "Well, I guess, I did tell you that I am the head of the Light Magic Academy, and I am going by Eamyla. Now, all the people in the Light Magic Academy are going to call me head of the Light Magic Academy as Lady Eamyla. You know, I am still young, but now everyone is going to call me Lady Eamyla, I guess, because I am the new head of this Light Magic Academy. Uhm... Now, you know my name and who I am here. What's about you? My little young tiny boy...?"

Beautiful Eamyla is the new Headmaster of the Light Magic Academy. She was recently chosen through a vote among the academy's advisers. Eamyla is young, stunning, intelligent, and incredibly powerful in her magical abilities. She has mastered many forms of magic and possesses numerous talents. Eamyla entered the Light Magic Academy at just five years old, showing an early aptitude for magic. Her parents belong to a high-status royal family from a distant region near the academy.

Walking by the riverbank, Eamyla held a newborn baby boy in her arms, gently touching his lips as she played with him. She said, "All right, since I don’t know your name and I can’t just call you 'baby,' I need to give you a name so I can address you properly. Let me think... I want to pick a good name for you."

The newborn child smiled back at her while she looked around the surroundings. As Eamyla gazed at the baby boy, she heard the sound of the nearby upper stream river flowing. Turning towards the upper stream, she noticed the little snow covering the area and smiled. Thinking to herself, "I think I know your name."

Eamyla said softly. "You came from the upper stream where the snowfall has already begun. I shall call you Snowian. From now on, you are my Snowian. But wait… now that you have a name, how will you be taken care of? You're just a baby, and you'll need someone to look after you. I am the head of the Light Magic Academy and can’t be with you at all times. What will the advisers and the others in the academy think about this?"

Eamyla smiled at the newborn boy, Snowian, before waving her hand over a nearby basket that glowed with a bright white light before vanishing. With a smile, she walked back to the Light Magic Academy, holding Snowian, who seemed to be transported through portals, appearing and disappearing across distances.

Inside the castle of the Light Magic Academy, many advisers were searching for the new head of the academy, Eamyla. When she finally appeared, visible relief washed over their faces. One adviser stepped forward and asked, “Master Eamyla, where have you been? We have been looking for you; we need your decision on the upcoming quarter's exam for the new junior examiners. We’ve searched all over the castle!”

The advisers rushed toward Eamyla, surrounding her with eager expressions. She looked at them gently and said, “I was just taking a walk in the back of the academy yard. I needed some fresh air to clear my head after feeling overwhelmed by everything happening at once. Now, what is it that you need from me?”

An older adviser opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, a pretty female Master Alchemist stepped forward, pushing the old adviser aside. She said, “Let me explain, Master Eamyla. We need your decision regarding the number of new juniors we will accept for the next exam. Each quarter, we must set a limit on the number of new juniors entering our Light Magic Academy. As more candidates come to take the exam, we need a specific number that you approve, as only you, as the head of our academy, can determine this.”

Eamyla considered the advisers' words and replied, “All right, let’s double the number of new examiners for this upcoming exam. Given that more than half of the previous examiners failed, we must accept more this time to regain lost ground. Does that sound good to everyone?”

The academy's advisers looked at each other and nodded in agreement. Then, the pretty Master Alchemist, Lady Malana, stepped forward and gently said, "Yes, we all agree with Head Master Eamyla. So, it shall be done. We need to prepare for the new examiners."

Eamyla smiled at everyone and then turned to Malana, saying, "That's good. If there is nothing else, everyone can leave except for Master Alchemist Malana, who will stay with me. I have something I need to discuss with her."

Once everyone had left, Eamyla quickly grabbed Malana's hand and ran with her to the backyard of the Light Magic Academy. Once they were outside, Malana looked at Eamyla and asked, "All right, you pulled me out here. I assume you have something very important to discuss, right?"

Eamyla gazed at Malana and said softly, "Wow... You know me well. You're right; I do have something important for us to discuss, but I’m not sure how to handle it right now."

Looking somewhat confused, Malana slowly took Eamyla's hand, gazed into her eyes, and said, "I know you are the new head of our Light Magic Academy, and this responsibility rests on your shoulders. It's a significant role, but you don’t have to worry. I am your friend and will support you in every way I can, without question. So, tell me what is troubling you and how I can help."

Eamyla looked around, holding Malana's hand as they walked through the beautiful garden filled with flowers on both sides. She then spoke softly, "I know that when I ask you this question, I just want you to answer without any questions. Yes? Can you promise me that?"

Malana glanced around, confirmed that they were alone, and replied, "Yes, I promise I won’t ask you any questions after you ask me yours. Go ahead."

Eamyla smiled as she gazed into Malana's eyes and asked nervously, "All right, this is embarrassing, but I need to ask anyway. Uhm... Malana, when a girl becomes a mother and has a newborn baby, what does the newborn eat during the first few cycles as it grows? What do newborns eat?"

Malana looked into Eamyla's eyes and stared at her momentarily before pointing a finger at her. Eamyla quickly grabbed Malana's finger and suggested, "You need to answer my question. Don't just stand there pointing! Well... Malana?"

Malana smiled back at Eamyla and, with a graceful gesture, calmed herself before explaining. "Oh, this question is straightforward! Of course, all mothers know how to answer it, but maybe you and I don’t know unless we've read our mothers' books on how to be a mother or listened to their stories about caring for a newborn."

Eamyla, anxious to know the answer, urged Malana to respond quickly. Malana smiled and explained, "When a girl first has a newborn baby and becomes a mother, she can feed her baby at her breast. The newborn can drink the mother’s milk, or if that's not possible, it can receive special nutrition to help it grow strong and healthy."

After Malana explained the responsibilities of caring for a newborn, she asked Eamyla why she had been curious about motherhood. Eamyla explained that she had once seen a young mother taking care of her newborn in her arms.

Malana then grabbed Eamyla and took her to a private corner, checking her over to see if anything was out of the norm. The playful actions made Eamyla laugh out loud. As she laughed, people walking by in the backyard of the Light Magic Academy rushed over to see what was happening, only to find the pretty Master Alchemist, Malana, checking on Eamyla while she laughed heartily.

Eamyla, upon noticing the onlookers, quickly stopped Malana and pointed at the people standing at a distance. Eamyla grabbed Malana’s hand, and both of them ran out of the Light Magic Academy's backyard. Malana said, "Let's get out of here before people start spreading rumors about us. Let's hurry!"

As they ran, Eamyla smiled and remarked, "You know, running like this and holding my hand reminds me so much of when we were young. You used to pull me along to have fun. You remember that, right? Malana?"

After Malana urged Eamyla to keep running, they reached a secluded spot where no one was around. Eamyla looked at Malana with a beautiful smile. Malana gently said, "All right, Eamyla. Look at me carefully. I’m going to say this to you just once. Yes, we had a good time in the past, but now you're in a new, higher-level position. You are the head of the Light Magic Academy, and everyone here holds you in very high regard. Although our past relationship remains the same, I must not disrespect you or treat you as I did before. You understand that, right? Eamyla?"

Eamyla looked at Malana with sad eyes. Noticing Eamyla’s expression, Malana took both of her hands, shook them gently, and said softly, "Oh... all right. For you—only for you—I will treat you the same as before, as our best friends. But in public or during gatherings, I will treat you as the head of the Light Magic Academy. All right? That's the best I can do for us in this new situation. Yes? Eamyla?"

Eamyla smiled at Malana and nodded. She said gently, "Yes, I understand, and thank you so much, my best friend Malana. I knew I could count on you."

Malana looked at Eamyla for a moment before responding, "All right, let’s clarify our roles in this situation now that you are the headmaster of the Light Magic Academy. I want to express my full respect for you and acknowledge what you requested earlier. Since we’ve been best friends since childhood and you are now the headmaster, I, as the Master of the Alchemist Division, can say that tomorrow is that time of the month again for us. The academy is sending a group of juniors to town to gather supplies. Why don’t I take you with us? What do you think?"

Eamyla smiled at her beautiful best friend, the Alchemist’s Master Malana, and replied, "Yes, I would love that! I haven’t stepped out of the academy for such a long time. I love your idea of taking me to town. Are we going tomorrow because you’re planning to buy something for me as a gift?"

Malana placed her hand on Eamyla’s shoulder and said softly, "Yes, and maybe. You mentioned wanting to understand what it’s like for mothers to care for their babies, so I want you to meet a few mothers in town. You can ask them about their experiences taking care of newborns. It’s your chance to explore your curiosity about motherhood. All right, Eamyla?"

Eamyla wrapped her arms around Malana and leaned her head on her shoulder, smiling. "I love you, my best friend, and I will never forget your kindness."

Malana was momentarily taken aback by Eamyla’s affection. She smiled as she gently pushed Eamyla away. Looking into Eamyla’s eyes, Malana said, "Just hold onto that thought, but don’t express it like that when you have people around. If anyone else saw what you just did, they might get the wrong idea about us, all right? Eamyla?"

Eamyla smiled back at Malana, who was also smiling. Then, with a quick turn, Malana dashed away, disappearing in a flash of magic. Eamyla watched her best friend shyly run off and disappear, and Eamyla smiled as she looked in the direction where Malana had gone. In the big town below the huge mountain, where the Light Magic Academy is, many people from near and far regions have gathered in the big town waiting for the day the Light Magic Academy opens its doors to recruit new pupils.

The big town is very crowded, and all the hostels are full. The group richest in gold and high-level magic crystals is the VIP of the class and will be treated like a royal family. For the one who has no gold or high-level magic crystals is treated like a beggar. In this Era of living in the Magic World, the powerful of magic will be the czar. Many powerful clans are sending their children to high-ranking positions in the clan, with their members attending the recruit pupils every two cycles. In this magic world, every cycle is three hundred days, and every three hundred days is one full cycle.

In this cycle of recruiting new pupils from the Light Magic Academy, there are five clans: the Cloud, River, Forest, Hill, and the Mountain clan. Each clan is located in the region where they are living, and the society has named them by the way they live, cultivating, practicing their magic powers, and their behavior according to their style of living in the region. These five clans are powerful and known to the society of the magic world, and very few ever challenge them.

Once upon a time, a few of these five clans engaged in battle and challenged each other, resulting in the extinction of most of their populations. Since then from that past, these five clans have an agreement that they will not repeat the same mistake, instead, they have the five councils chosen for dealing with anyone in the five clans have misbehave, violated any rules of the five clans, or committed a destruction crime will be put on trail, and get punish of their consequences their action that might be very well to determinate their life.

All five clans sent their selected members to the recruitment from the Light Magic Academy, and most of the hostel's rooms have been full. There are a few left, but it's getting crowded as others want to have the room in the hostel. Only the lucky ones can get the available rooms from the left, and there are several small groups that have joined the team and fight to get the last few available rooms in the hostel.

The next morning, in the Light Magic Academy's master kitchen front yard, many wagons are waiting for the Light Magic Academy's juniors to get ready for a journey into the big town to purchase supplies for the academy. A total of ten wagons and a little over a hundred Light Magic Academy members, including all the selected juniors to accompany the academy's elders, go to the big town below to purchase the supplies.

Once everyone is ready, and just about to start the journey. The beautiful Master Alchemist, Malana, was walking out with a disciple beside her, calling out to wait for her. One of the elders looks at Master Alchemist, Malana, and said, "Master Malana, what's a surprise. Do you need something from us?"

Malana smiles, walking up to the elders, and said, "Yes, I am coming with you, and my disciple Myla is also accompanying me to come with the group to the town to get supplies. You get your supplies, and I get the supplies I need in the town. Any questions?"

The elders look at beautiful Master Alchemist, Malana, and a person standing beside her, who is a disciple of hers, but this disciple is actually Eamyla, who is dressed up in clothing like a junior boy, and the other elders walked up to Malana and then told her that they would go if everyone was present. Malana smiled and said, "All right, let's go. Only my disciple and I. We are going with your group. Let's get going."

The supply convoy from the Light Magic Academy has begun its journey to the big town, traveling slowly down the winding roads from the highest mountain. With ten wagons in tow, the convoy finally arrived in the bustling town below. As they entered, crowds gathered to watch the members of the Light Magic Academy making their way to purchase supplies for the academy's kitchen.

The townspeople showed great respect for the academy members, fully aware of the strict rules governing the Light Magic Academy. No one dares to challenge any member, including the junior members, without facing serious consequences. This reverence is largely due to the academy's fearsome reputation; everyone knows that disrespecting or challenging the Light Magic Academy will result in severe punishment.

However, there are a few members from the five major clans who do not hold the Light Magic Academy in high regard. Despite the academy’s strong standing, some individuals from the Mountain Clan attempted to challenge it. The Mountain Clan, known for their powerful magic, channels natural electric energy through lightning. This clan shares a historical connection with the Cloud Clan, as both utilize lightning as a source of strength. Despite their shared abilities, the two clans maintain a rivalry stemming from ancient conflicts between their elders.

Members of both the Cloud and Mountain Clans are known for their stubbornness and fiery tempers, often causing trouble wherever they go. Upon arriving in the big town, the Light Magic Academy convoy was quickly recognized, and they proceeded to the marketplace to acquire their supplies. While the convoy team members busied themselves, the beautiful Master Alchemist Malana and her disciple Eamyla, who was disguised, decided to venture off together. Malana informed the academy's elders that she and Eamyla would return as soon as they finished gathering their own supplies.

One of the academy's elders informed Master Alchemist, Malana, that once they completed their supply shopping, they would fire a signal flare to let her know they were ready to head back to the Light Magic Academy. Malana smiled and replied, "All right, you elders do what you need to do. When you're finished, just let me know. My disciple and I will find our supplies, and after we get what we came for, we’ll meet you all and then head back to the academy. Is everyone in agreement?"

The academy's elders looked at the Master Alchemist, Malana, and nodded. With that, Malana and her disguised disciple, Eamyla, began their shopping. Malana intended to take Eamyla to meet a group of mothers caring for their newborns to ask them about their child-rearing methods. Meanwhile, back in the town, tensions were brewing among the clans residing in the hostel.

In one of the hostels, a member of the Cloud Clan sat at a table, ordering food and drinks for other members of his clan who were expected to join him. As he sat alone, a member of the rival Mountain Clan approached him. Seeing only one person seated at the table, the Mountain Clan member said, "My friends and I would like to share this table with you."

The Cloud Clan member looked up and responded, "No, this table is taken. My clan members will be here any moment. You should find another table. This one is mine, so leave!"

The Mountain Clan member was offended by the Cloud Clan member's rude attitude. He slammed his hand down on the table and retorted, “Watch your tongue! You can't talk to me like that. I demand an apology, or you'll regret it!”

As tensions rose, the hostel's waiter stepped in to mediate between the two clansmen. However, he was shoved aside by a member of the Cloud Clan, revealing that both the Cloud Clan and Mountain Clan members were now prepared to fight. They quickly began to exchange blows.

For a brief moment, both clan members engaged in close combat. Then, the Cloud Clan member channeled his magic, his hand glowing with a bright white light. Sensing this change, the Mountain Clan member responded by summoning a cloud of energy, ready to retaliate. Suddenly, two streams of blue magical energy shot towards them, colliding and sending both clansmen flying six steps away from the table.

The source of the magical force was the hostel's female supervisor, a powerful fifth-ranking-level sky magician. This level of magic was far superior to that of most common people, who lacked any magical abilities. Each magic level consists of nine rankings, starting from the first level as the lowest to the ninth level as the highest within that tier.

In this magical world, there are several levels of magic, and each magical cultivator has unique abilities. The masters of magic at the Superhouse level have created a power chart for each cultivator, whether they obtained their magic power from birth, acquired it, or inherited it. Each cultivator has their own recognized magic power level that is acknowledged by all others in the magical community.

Anyone currently ranked at the Superhouse level has either already become immortal or is in the process of achieving immortality, freeing themselves from the cycle of death and rebirth. Those below the Superhouse ranking are considered powerful magic users, but they do not hold the same immortal status.

Two members, one from the Cloud Clan and the other from the Mountain Clan, lay on the ground, unaware of how they were affected by the magical force that had knocked them down. The Cloud Clan member stood up, looking at the attractive female hostel supervisor with fear in his eyes after being hit by her magic. The cute female hostel supervisor stood confidently, hands on her hips.

The Cloud Clan member managed to smile at her and said, "Well, you pretty girl hit me when I wasn't paying attention. You dare to hurt me? You must pay me back double, no, triple, for what you just did. How about coming over here and helping me calm down with a massage? Hee..."

At that moment, other hostel waiters rushed out to stand by the pretty female supervisor’s side, ready to defend her. The Mountain Clan member slowly got up, turned toward the pretty hostel supervisor, and pointed at her. "So, lady, was it you who hit me with your magic? I must say, I agree with my friend here; you caught me completely off guard. I still feel the pain all over my skin. I want compensation, specifically, that you serve me personally and only me. Come here..."

The pretty female hostel supervisor looked at both members of the Cloud Clan and the Mountain Clan, smiled, and signaled to the waiters to back off. Then she said, "You two are causing trouble in my hostel. Now you want compensation? Don't you think that's ridiculous, coming from you two?"

The noise of confrontation in the hostel was heard by all other guests from their rooms above on the second floor, and they came out to watch what was making noise on the ground floor. Both clans' members of the Cloud Clan and the Mountain Clan are coming out of their room, and standing by the balcony looking down on the ground level, seeing the scene of confrontation between the pretty female hostel supervisor and the two clans' members.

Each of the clan's members from Cloud Clan and Mountain Clan recognizes their member standing below in the confrontation, then a few of their members in each clan want to come down to support their clan's member, but they are stopped by their elders. The elders of each clan told their members to just stand still and watch what was unfolding below on the ground level, and if needed, they could then jump in to help their clan member, still not too late.

The two clans' members on the ground level are standing, looking at each other, then turn, looking at the pretty female hostel supervisor. Then, the clan's member from the Cloud Clan said to the pretty female hostel supervisor, "So, are you going to do as I told you, or do you want me to make you do so?"

The hostel's waiters are getting angry, and just about to start the fight between the two clans' members, then the pretty female hostel supervisor smiled, and said gently, "All right, as you demanded, then let me counter your demand. If any of you can withstand my finger's magic ball, then I will do your service as you demanded, and if you cannot withstand my finger's magic ball. I want you two to kneel, apologize to me, and then get out of my sight. How's this counteroffer of mine sound to you two?"

The two clans' members are starting to get angry, looking at each other, then both turned, looking at the pretty female hostel supervisor, and pointing their fingers at her, then telling her to go ahead with their service day.

Right away, both clans' members pointed their fingers at the pretty female hostel supervisor, and told her to make their service day good. The pretty female hostel supervisor smiled and slowly raised her right finger to generate her magic power of blue energy forming at the tip of her finger.

The blue magic energy at the tip of the finger of the pretty female hostel supervisor is getting solid and more powerful by the moment. Both elders of the two clans, the Cloud Clan and the Mountain Clan, are standing at the top of the second floor by the balcony, watching the pretty female hostel supervisor start to use her magic power on her finger. The elders of the Cloud Clan saw how powerful the magic finger of the pretty female hostel supervisor had become, then he said, "This girl is way outmatched by those two, and if those two know they're outmatched. They should try to give excuses to get out of their situation immediately."

All the elders of the two clans know their member cannot stand with the pretty female hostel supervisor's magic finger, then one of the elders in the Mountain Clan shouted out, "Wait!!! Wait!! Stop!!! Let's talk..."

Immediately, everyone on the ground floor turned and looked up at the second floor, where the elders had just shouted for them to stop. The pretty female hostel supervisor turned, glanced at the elders, and slowly lowered her finger, withdrawing her magic. Elders from both the Cloud Clan and the Mountain Clan began making their way down to the ground level.

As the elders from both clans approached the pretty female hostel supervisor, they realized she held a higher-ranking level of magic power, classified as mid-range in the sky-level. The elders of the Mountain Clan politely addressed her, saying, "Young Master, I apologize for the trouble caused by my clan member. If there is any damage, I would like to compensate for it. Please forgive my clan member; he did not know what he was doing."

The pretty female hostel supervisor regarded the elders of the Mountain Clan. Then the elders of the Cloud Clan stepped forward and said, "I echo the same sentiment. Please accept my apology for my clan member's reckless behavior. He was unaware of the situation and caused disruption here. I will discipline him and cover any damages he may have caused."

Listening to both elders, the pretty female hostel supervisor paused as one of her servers whispered in her ear. She smiled and replied, "Alright, since you both are guests at this hostel, I will let this incident pass this time. I appreciate you taking responsibility for the situation. Let’s return to our business, shall we?"

Both elders from the Mountain Clan and Cloud Clan bowed respectfully to the pretty female hostel supervisor. They then faced each other, and the elders of the Mountain Clan said, "I suppose one day our clans will compete, and one of us will be crowned champion. For now, can we agree to put this behind us for the sake of our young members preparing for the exam to enter the Light Magic Academy? What do you say?"

Both elders agreed, and the clans then parted ways. As they walked, a member of the Mountain Clan asked the elder, "Why do we have to show respect to that young girl? We could easily take care of her. Why don't we?"

The elders of the Mountain Clan looked at the young member and replied, "None of you is her match. She is a master of mid-level sky magic. I never imagined I would encounter someone so young who has mastered at least the fifth level of upper-level sky magic. She could defeat all of you with just one finger. Did you see her magical prowess? If any of you wish to end your lives quickly, feel free to challenge her. I will not interfere."

After hearing their elders’ words, the young members of the Mountain Clan began to cast wary glances at the pretty female hostel supervisor as they exited the building. The same caution was conveyed by the elders of the Cloud Clan to their young members, reminding them not to judge someone by their appearance.

Outside, in the bustling city market, members of the Light Magic Academy were shopping for supplies. The elders were splitting into groups to gather items from their lists, preparing for their Master.

Alchemist, Malana, and Eamyla are on a mission to find the mothers and have Eamyla speak with them. Malana leads Eamyla to a part of the city where the market primarily caters to mothers who are purchasing food and supplies for their children. Malana notices a gathering of mothers who are resting after their long day at the market, enjoying their tea, and sharing stories about their children.

As they approach, Malana spots a large table where several women are sitting, drinking tea, and engaged in conversation. She smiles at Eamyla and says, “See that table with all those women? There’s an empty seat there. Why don’t you go and sit down? Order your drink, relax, and listen to what they’re talking about. I bet you’ll find out what you need to know. I’ll wait for you around here. Are you good with that, Eamyla?”

Eamyla looks at the table full of women laughing and chatting, then turns to Malana and asks, “Are you sure? They seem so comfortable with each other. I’m not sure what I should do to fit in.”

With an encouraging smile, Malana gently pushes Eamyla toward the table. When Eamyla reaches the table, all the women turn to look at her. Eamyla smiles and gestures toward the empty seat.

One of the women at the table notices Eamyla and says, “Oh, you want to sit here? Go ahead! That seat is available for you.”

Eamyla smiles back and slowly walks over to the empty seat, taking a seat. A female waiter approaches her and asks, “Miss, what type of sweet drink would you like to order?”

Eamyla, still getting used to the situation, doesn’t quite understand and replies gently, “Oh… I don’t know. This is my first time here. What types of drinks do you have?”

The female waiter smiles and explains the different sweet drinks available. The other women at the table also look at Eamyla and smile encouragingly. One woman says, “I come here often, and each time I try a new drink. My favorite is the honey-lemon mix. It’s delicious for your health. That’s what I’m having right now. Hihi…”

The other women nod in agreement. Eamyla, feeling encouraged, turns to the waiter and says, “All right, I’ll have the same drink as this lady, please. One glass of the honey-lemon mix.”

“Good choice!” the female waiter responds with a smile before heading to prepare the drink.

Eamyla turns to the women at the table to thank them for the recommendation. One of the women looks at Eamyla and asks, “I see that you’re dressed like a boy, but you’re a girl, right? That’s why we’re calling you ‘Miss.’ If we’re mistaken, please let us know.”

Surprised by the woman’s observation, Eamyla realizes that the women have already recognized her gender, yet they are still welcoming her to sit with them. She looks at the woman and says softly, “Oh, I see… You, ladies, figured me out at first glance. I’m surprised and curious about how you knew just by looking.”

The women sitting at the table with Eamyla turned to each other, smiling. One of the women moved to sit next to Eamyla and gently said, "Oh... now, Miss, don't judge us by our appearance. We, women, have taken care of many children, both boys and girls, and we dress them daily. Don’t think we’re unaware of how our children should dress! Hihi..."

All the women smiled at each other, then slowly picked up their drinks and sipped while continuing to smile. The female waiter brought Eamyla's drink and placed it on the table. She then said to Eamyla, "Miss, please try your drink and let me know how it tastes."

Eamyla looked at the waiter and then at her drink, asking, "You know who I am, right? I'm not a boy. I dress as a boy, but you addressed me as Miss. How did you know?"

The women continued to smile and drink, and the female waiter replied softly, "Well, I’ve been working here for a long time, serving many ladies, women, and children, including both girls and boys. I observe how they dress and their expressions. You're not an exception to what I've seen. Hihi..."

Eamyla smiled and nodded, then slowly picked up her drink and took a sip. After her first sip, she smiled again and said softly, "Uhm... I like the taste of this drink. It's good! I can tell you this drink is really nice. Hihi..."

These mothers have a very positive outlook on their daily lives, easily recognizing each other by sight and exchanging friendly conversations. When they began discussing various aspects of motherhood, they shared challenges they faced, like how their newborns initially struggled to drink milk or eat solid food. Some mothers recounted how they created special meals for their newborns to encourage them to eat, instead of just relying on breast milk.

As the conversation shifted to breastfeeding newborns, Eamyla listened intently, paying extra attention to how to care for a newborn and considering options for raising them, especially when faced with challenges. She eagerly joined the discussion and asked the mothers how to care for newborns daily and how to raise them to be obedient.

Most of the mothers laughed, while others smiled, explaining to Eamyla that not all newborns become obedient. Some mothers shared their experiences of how they've raised their children from birth, noting that while some turn out to be very obedient, a few may not, often due to the negative influences they encounter.

Eamyla learned a lot from these mothers, who gathered daily at the market to shop for their families' food. Suddenly, a firework flare burst in the sky, grabbing everyone's attention. Malana approached Eamyla and called her over. Eamyla walked to Malana, who said, "Eamyla, did you see the flare signal? I guess our elders have finished their shopping. We should head back and prepare to return to the academy. Are you ready?"

Eamyla looked at the sky, saw the flare signal, and replied, "Yes, I see it. Let me say goodbye to these mothers first, and then we'll head back."

Turning around, Eamyla walked up to the mothers at the table. She called out to the female waiter and said, "I’m going to pay for all the drinks here, for all these ladies and myself. It’s on me, and I want to thank you all for a wonderful conversation about motherhood. It’s a challenging job, and I hope we can meet again. I’m very interested in listening to your stories about daily life. Hihi..."

Eamyla took out a few gold coins and handed them to the female waiter. The waiter responded, "Miss, this is too much. You’re overpaying for these drinks."

All the mothers watching looked at Eamyla, who smiled and told the waiter, "No, you keep it. It’s fine. I want to thank you all for the great drink today. I like it a lot. Good day, ladies..."

Eamyla smiled, turned around, and walked away with Malana. The mothers at the table raised their drinks in a cheer, thanking Eamyla for her generosity. As Eamyla and Malana walked back to the Light Magic Academy’s convoy, the academy's elders regrouped with the juniors to ensure everyone was present before heading back to the academy.

The two clans, Mountain and Cloud, were walking through the street market when they noticed a signal firework. The elders from both clans wondered which clan had sent up the signal and what the purpose was. They decided to send members from each clan to investigate.

The members of both clans quickly made their way to the source of the signal flare, where they found the Light Magic Academy's convoy preparing to leave. The academy's juniors were busy checking their wagons, and as the Mountain and Cloud clan members observed, they saw each other.

Upon returning to report to their elders, a junior member of the Mountain Clan informed their elder about the convoy from the Light Magic Academy. The junior said, "This is a good opportunity to test how skilled the members of the Light Magic Academy are. If their magic isn't as powerful as ours, then I don’t see the point in attending their classes. Am I right, Elder?"

There were two elders in the Mountain Clan group, and they exchanged glances. One elder replied hesitantly, "Shh... I don’t want anyone else to hear what you just said. However, it is useful to know their strength ahead of time, especially since our Clan's leader has ordered us to take a selected group of juniors to attend the Light Magic Academy. It is one of the strongest academies in the region."

After a brief exchange of looks, the second elder of the Mountain Clan said, "All right, let's send two of our best juniors to evaluate the Light Magic Academy's team. We need to see how they compare to our best, but we must not let them know we are from the Mountain Clan. We want to maintain a good impression of the Light Magic Academy. Understood?"

Everyone nodded in agreement, and they began walking toward the Light Magic Academy's convoy. Meanwhile, the elders of the Cloud Clan were also receiving reports from their members. One elder turned to face the convoy and said, "I believe it’s that time of month when the academy's convoy comes to collect supplies. I heard about this convoy from our clan's elders, who briefed me before I arrived here. For now, let's keep our distance from the convoy and anyone from the Light Magic Academy. We don’t want any trouble before our recruitment is complete. Let's stay focused on our mission to learn magic from the academy, especially the secrets of the high-grade pill. You all know what I mean, right?"

The members of the Cloud Clan looked at their elder, nodding their heads in affirmation, and clasped their hands as a sign of respect. Meanwhile, the elders of the Light Magic Academy were busy securing their supplies in the wagons and were ordering their juniors to check on each other to make sure everyone was present before heading back to the academy.

As Malana and Eamyla walked back to their convoy, Eamyla spotted a vendor selling groceries and merchandise. She asked Malana to give her a moment to make a purchase. Eamyla quickly ran off to the vendor, and Malana hurried after her, urging Eamyla to return quickly or the other elders would be upset.

While Eamyla was checking the merchandise and buying a few items, a magic explosion suddenly occurred near the Light Magic Academy's convoy. Everyone turned to look in the direction of the explosion. Malana felt an unsettling sense of foreboding and took a few steps forward to get a clearer view of the scene. Then, she heard shouting from the area where the explosion had taken place, indicating a magical confrontation was occurring.

Malana quickly approached one of the people running towards the scene of the magical explosion. She grabbed one of the women and asked, "Wait! Excuse me! Do you know what's happening over there? What caused the explosions?"

The woman, surprised at being grabbed, turned to Malana and replied, "Oh, there's a fight going on. I heard that two mages are battling the Academy's junior pupils, and things are escalating. I want to see who has the strength to challenge the juniors from the Light Magic Academy. Come on, you don’t want to miss this event!"

With that, the woman pulled her arm free and joined the crowd rushing toward the magic fight. Malana absorbed what the woman had said and immediately ran back to grab Eamyla, who was busy purchasing some merchandise. Malana quickly took out her tiny gold balls, paid the merchant, and asked him to hand over the items to her. Then both Malana and Eamyla raced with the crowd toward the magical explosion.

Two high-level magic members of the Mountain Clan, disguised as nomads, were causing trouble with the junior pupils of the Light Magic Academy. The two nomads shouted at the academy’s juniors, insisting that they should apologize for bumping into them. The juniors of the Light Magic Academy countered, claiming that it was the nomads who had run into them first.

The argument escalated as both sides pushed one another, leading to a full-blown magical confrontation. The crowd grew larger by the moment, and when the academy’s elders arrived to defuse the situation, the nomads redirected their attention toward the juniors rather than the elders. The nomads were aware that they stood no chance against the academy's elders in combat.

One of the nomads pointed at the elder of the Light Magic Academy and demanded that the juniors bow down and apologize for running into them. The juniors quickly informed their elder that the nomads were the real instigators of the conflict, which further fueled the situation.

Other elders of the Light Magic Academy arrived on the scene, seeking to understand the trouble. The juniors attempted to explain their side, while the nomads continued to insist that the juniors were at fault and deserved to apologize.

As the two disguised nomads stirred up trouble, the elders from the Mountain and Cloud Clans stood by, watching the commotion. One of the elders from the Light Magic Academy approached the two nomads and said, "What do you two want? My pupils have told me that you are the troublemakers and that you’re the ones who ran into them. Do you truly wish to cause more trouble? I advise you to reconsider."

The nomads exchanged glances and noticed their elders from the Mountain Clan nodding at them from the crowd. One nomad turned back to the elder of the Light Magic Academy and retorted, "We don’t quarrel with you; our issue is with those kids. We want them to apologize to us. Or do you think you're entitled to take advantage of us as the older ones? Everyone here can see what’s happening."

A junior from the Light Magic Academy walked up to their elder and said, "Elders, they are the ones who are causing the problem. They started first, and they want us to apologize to them. This is observed, we will not bow down to these awful nomads. My elders."

The crowd is starting to get bigger, then one of the elders from the Light Magic Academy walks up to two nomads, and says gently, "All right, now we all heard your side of the story, and my side of the story from our juniors. I guess you did not know who we are. I am the elder of the Light Magic Academy, and this is my convoy going down this town's market to purchase supplies, and my juniors and members of the Light Magic Academy are not terrible as anyone thinks. We have our discipline, and we are very serious about it to all members and all juniors in our Light Magic Academy. I believe my juniors, when they said that they are not at fault. So, if you don't straighten up your act now, then I will deal with you nomads right here, and now. So, what say you?"

The two nomads started getting nervous when they heard the elders of the Light Magic Academy giving them a last warning with the Light Magic Academy's discipline of their pupils, then one of the nomads turned, looking into the crowd at their Mountain Clan's elder. The elders of the Mountain Clan signal their eyes to the two nomads to continue, and push on with their actions.

The elder of the Light Magic Academy is just about to go up toward the two nomads, and give them her lesson on keeping up the challenge at the Light Magic Academy, then one of the other elders quickly walked up, and said, "Fine!!! Since you two nomads are rock heads, then I will let my junior give you a lesson that you two nomads will not forget for the rest of your nomads' lives."

Immediately, the female elder of the Light Magic Academy told her best pupil to come up and kick the two nomads' butts. The Senior pupil member of the Light Magic Academy walked up and said, "I am the senior of my class in the Light Magic Academy. As my Master instructed, I am here to accommodate your challenge, and let's begin."

The Senior pupil of the Light Magic Academy starts walking up, facing the two nomads. Then, one of the two nomads told the other, " Let him go first, deal with this Senior guy from the Light Magic Academy. The second nomad, slowly stepping backward, said, "You kick this tiny academy’s Senior to his knees."

The nomad smiled at his nomad buddy, then turned around, facing the Senior pupil of the Light Magic Academy, and both started positioning for their offensive attack. Both sides are starting to get positions to attack each other by using their magic powers, then Malana and Eamyla run up through the crowd, pushing forward to the front, and see the two sides of nomads and the Senior pupil of the Light Magic Academy are about to attack each other.

Malana quickly identifies that the two nomads are not who they said they are, but the crowd is talking about the two nomads that they have never seen nomads ever going on a challenge, any of the members from the Light Magic Academy before today. Malana is very sharp, and she looks at the footwear worn by the two nomads and immediately knows these two nomads are not who they identified themselves as.

Malana quickly walked up to the elders and said, "Those two identified themselves as nomads. They are not nomads, and they are troublemakers, causing us problems in front of this crowd. I want to take them out and teach them a very bitter price for messing with our Light Magic Academy."

One of the elders quickly turned and paid respect to Master Malana and said, "Malana, oh, good. You are back, and we have some troublemakers here challenging our juniors. Did you just say these two nomads are not who they are to be? Are you sure? They dress like a nomad."

Pretty Malana looked at the two nomads and said to the academy's elders, "I am sure, all of you take a look at their shoes, and tell me what you really see nomads ever wearing these types of shoes?"

All the elders of the Light Magic Academy quickly aimed their eyes at the shoes of the two nomads, then immediately one of the academy's elders said, "Master Malana is right, these shoes worn by these two nomads are not familiar to these two nomads, but they're like those from a high-class family, or a sect that wears them. Right?"

One of the elders from the Light Magic Academy, looking at the nomad's shoes, then said, "No, maybe from one of many clans that we did not encounter before until now."

The other elders of the Light Magic Academy turned, looking at the other elders, and said softly, "Since Master Malana pointed out the obvious of the shoes worn by these two nomads, it has made me think for a very long time. No one has ever challenged our Light Magic Academy until today. The only thing I can think of recently is that we have been informed by our peers that many of the clans in our regions, and nearby, are wanting to infringe on our Light Magic Academy and learn our secret of how we create the highest grade pills, as in our Alchemist Division."

The two sides are using their magic power to build up their hands, turning them into magic fireballs, covered with glowing magic, and start attacking each other. When both sides perform tactics, magic hands attacking, their magic power is released to hit the other opponent, but when the magic fireballs miss them and hit the ground, turning into an explosion, the magic fireball is blown up. The crowd immediately took many steps back away from the two fighters.

One of the elders from the Mountain Clan saw the elders of the Light Magic Academy looking at the two nomads' shoes, then the Mountain Clan's elder said gently, "I think the elders from the Light Magic Academy may figure out our two members. We must signal to them to retreat and get out of this place before the academy's elders pull off their fake faces before the crowd."

When two fighters attack in close combat, they concentrate their power into one hand with full magic energy, forcing it into their palm, and both sides are making punches at the opponent. When their powerful magic palms collide with each other, they make a tremendous collision of two magical forces. This created an energy of magic power that blew outward from their palms, turning into a magic wave shooting outward toward the crowd, and the crowd saw the powerful magic energy bursting outward straight to them.

The crowd starts to turn about and start running. The people in the crowd standing in front immediately ducked down to avoid the powerful magic energy wave spreading out to hit them. Malana and others are standing very close to the two fighters, then one of the elders from the Light Magic Academy raises her hands to make a magic shield to block the incoming magic power energy wave.

Eamyla was watching the two fighters and their magic power energy wave bursting toward her. Malana steps out in front of Eamyla and raises her right hand, flicking her finger. An energy ball from Malana's finger formed and flew out straight to the magic power energy wave that was coming straight at her. When Malana's magic power-ball energy flew out from her hand straight into the magic power of the energy wave, it hit it.

Malana's magic power-ball energy immediately neutralized the magic wave like a light fog that immediately disappeared within one breath. Everyone saw the one small magic power-ball energy due to the powerful energy wave disappear like a light fog turned into thin air, which was very surprising, and they turned to look at the Master Alchemist, Malana.

Malana turns around looking at Eamyla, and Eamyla smiles at Malana, and says very softly, "That's a very impressive move of a magic energy ball. You know, I like that technique a lot, and it's never old. Hihi... It's reminding me a lot... Hihi..."

Everyone is turned, looking at pretty Master Alchemist, Malana, and Eamyla smiling, pointing at others to Malana that everyone is looking at her. The two fighters immediately stopped fighting, then one of the nomads quickly walked up to his buddy, whispering into his ear, and both nomads started backing steps away from the Light Magic Academy's convoy.

Everyone in the Light Magic Academy is turned, looking at the two nomads. Then, the nomad who was fighting earlier said, "I think we can stop right here, and I will be leaving. We bit you all have a good day, and our trouble will end here."

Two nomads quickly turn around and run away as quickly as they can because they got a message through telepathy that they must get out quickly. Both nomads ran fast away within a few breaths, and that made all the elders of the Light Magic Academy watch as the two nomads ran away fast like foxes.

Everyone in the Light Magic Academy convoy, including all the elders, was very impressed by a moving finger magic fireball from pretty Master Alchemist, Malana.
