Capitulo one
DIMENSION TWO
PROLOGUE
In a world radiant with false beauty, broken promises, and empty kings, there is a place where everything is the same, but with one exception: here there is no beauty, no promises, no kings—but there are gods, also called demons.
But a human named “Michael” will be involuntarily drawn into this kind of dimension and will wish to die rather than try to escape from this place… or perhaps try to survive.
—What…? (groan) Where am I? —said Michael as he woke up from a deep sleep, lying in a white hallway with dark walls. There was also a door that seemed both near and far at the same time, constantly shining.
—A door… This must be a dream, it’s impossible —said Michael, placing his hands on his white shirt, then on his pants. He begins to touch his silky hair, his pale skin, a bit frightened, and his brown eyes.
He starts pulling his own hair with his hands to check if this is a dream or a hallucination.
—Argh! Argh! —Michael shouts furiously—. This isn’t impossible… (he stands up) it can’t be —he said, both angry and confused.
He looks at the glowing door in front of him and thinks that it is the exit from this strange dream.
Michael begins to walk toward the door. Each step leaves a mark on the floor, a black footprint from his dirty feet.
The walls of the hallway look different. It appears dim, with no stars or moon—only an unsettling silence.
The glow from the door illuminates the surroundings, the walls, but Michael cannot see it, because all he wants is to escape this dream and return to the real world.
His feet now brush against the door. His eyes begin to tear up from the light, but he ignores it and crosses through.
First with his hand, stretching toward the door, then his head, and finally his whole body. And it seems that upon touching the door, he also made contact with a majestic paradise.
