Chapter 1 A Morning Full of Chaos

“Hey! Hurry up! It’s getting late!”

Roja’s voice echoed through the house, loud enough to shake the walls.

“We’re late every single day! At least today, let’s go early!”

But inside the room…

Nothing.

Not even a small reaction.

“Let me sleep…” Poorna groaned, half-asleep. “Who is disturbing my peace this early in the morning?”

She grabbed a pillow and threw it blindly—missing Roja completely—then pulled the blanket over her head again.

Roja stood there, staring at the three sleeping figures.

Akalya. Anjali. Poorna.

All three were completely lost in their dreams.

Roja sighed.

“Talking is useless…”

Without another word, she turned and walked toward the bathroom.

A few seconds later—

She returned.

With a bucket.

A very full bucket.

And in the next moment—

**Splash!**

“Aaaaah!”

“What is this?!”

“Roja!!”

The three of them jumped up, gasping, coughing, and shivering as cold water drenched them completely.

Roja stood there… laughing.

“What happened?” she teased. “Why are you all breathing like you just ran a marathon?”

The three of them glared at her.

If looks could kill, Roja would have been gone already.

“Get ready fast,” she said casually. “I’ll be waiting outside.”

She paused, turned back, and added with a mischievous smile—

“And if you’re late… chili powder is next.”

Before they could react—

She ran.

“ROJAAAAA!”

The house shook once again as all three shouted together.

Annoyed.

Angry.

But wide awake.

Within minutes, the house was filled with movement again.

This was their everyday life.

Chaos, laughter… and each other.

---

Roja.

Poorna.

Akalya.

Anjali.

Four girls.

One home.

One life.

They had no parents. No family to call their own.

They were each other’s world.

And maybe that was enough.

At school, they were known for something else.

Excellence.

The top four ranks?

Always theirs.

No one came close.

But admiration wasn’t the only thing they received.

Jealousy followed them everywhere.

Whispers.

Glares.

Unseen rivalry.

Still… they stood together.

Always.

---

Ten minutes later—

The four of them stood at the entrance of their school.

“Rosemary High School.”

They looked at the nameboard… and smiled.

The bell was about to ring.

And just like every other day—

They stepped forward.

Unaware…

That their lives were about to change forever.
