Chapter 1 Just The Start Of Everything
Waking up in the middle of the night to a phone call from your number is already scary enough but as soon as I heard what the person said my heart dropped to the floor as if someone ripped my heart and rolled it down the stairs. I wake up in the middle of the night to my phone buzzing with a call except itโs coming from my own number. The voice on the other end whispers something Iโll never forget and as I pick up my phone my hand is shaking like a rattle snakes tail butโฆ..that person whispers to me through the phone โI know what you did to your familyโฆ.I know all of your deepest darkest secrets Nika Blackwoodโ
Apart of me wanted to scream but of course no words came out of my mouth itโs as if someone had sewn my mouth shut for a few seconds then one by one ripped out the stitches. His voice sounded raspy and deep but yet somehow comforting in some odd way. While sitting on the cold wood floors almost as if i was sitting on ice in my dorm his voice had echoed in my head making it never ending as if i was at a karaoke bar and someone had their mic on echo.
As Iโm sitting there he is still on the phone โAw are you scared Nikaโฆwhatcha doing sitting on your wood floors of your dorm looking all prettyโ he says in an admiring and sinister tone. As Iโm listening to him I feel something like spiders crawl throughout my skin, I jolt up to look around and as iโm looking around i hear his voice loudly ringing in my ears โThatโs cute that your so scared while looking for me but iโm someone you already knowโฆ.who might or might not have access to all parts of campusโ he says in almost a cocky and all knowing tone.
