Thank You
This special edition of Thunder is my way of saying thank you to everyone who made this book so meaningful. I thought writing this book would be the end of the journey, but honestly, it was just the beginning.
First and foremost, I want to thank my wife for supporting me through this entire process and being my biggest fan. You will always be my Alice. Thank you to my sister, who always reads my stories, even though the first one was quite the pile (although I can never get you to admit it).
Thank you to my dad for being there with the jokes when I needed to de-stress after a long writing session. Thank you to Trish for keeping him from getting too deep into the cringy dad jokes, and for filling some big shoes. Thank you to Etsi and Tim for picking up the pieces when we fell apart, and for providing such a great family for my three beautiful daughters.
Last but definitely not least, thank you to all of you, the fans of Thunder. The fans of Alice and Ace’s journey, and of one of the most emotional pieces I’ve ever made. You are the people who made this journey worth taking. From meeting new people on social media, to connecting with fellow authors on Inkitt, to a failed launch on a website that was stacked against me from the start (seriously, get your shit together, worst customer experience ever).
Thank you to each and every one of you, from the bottom of my heart. You made this rocky journey called being an author a fun and heartfelt experience. Thunder isn’t the end; it’s just the beginning.
