Chapter 1
The field trip to Qasr Al Hosn was finally announced for Grade 8 students, including 8/A 8/B,8/C 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F. Everyone in the school was excited because it was one of the most important historical places in Abu Dhabi.
On the afternoon of the trip, Abdulla had just finished his Social Studies test given by Ahmed Hani and Mohammed Ibrahim. The classroom was still a bit quiet because some students from 8/B were still continuing their test,Later around 12 o’clock, Abdulla quickly got ready to go on the buses for the field trip to Qasr Al Hosn In the hurry, Abdulla accidentally left his bag at the reception area of the school. He didn’t notice at first because he was focused on getting on the bus with 8/B and the other classes.
While the buses were getting ready to leave, someone called out his name—“Glow”—but Abdulla didn’t answer because he was his call already After that, all the students from 8/B, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F were finally on the buses together, heading toward Qasr Al Hosn Meanwhile, Mohammed Ibrahim was sitting in the same bus After a while, the buses finally arrived from Al Suqoor School to Qasr Al Hosn.
Meanwhile, “Glow” noticed Abdulla sitting inside the bus together while they were arriving near Qasr Al Hosn.Later on at Qasr Al Hosn, all the students from 8/A 8/B,8/C 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F gathered in the open ground area to eat lunch.After about 20 minutes, the students just finished eating their biryani lunch at the ground area near Qasr Al Hosn.
Later during the trip at Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla walked near the underground parking area with his classmates While both of them was walking, Mohammed Omar suddenly tried to scare him by jumping out or making a loud surprise noise.Abdulla got shocked for a moment because it was unexpected
After that, Abdulla went back and then saw the full view of Qasr Al Hosn clearly in front of him After that, the students entered inside Qasr Al Hosn together as part of the tour group.
Inside, Abdulla was walking with his friends Hamad, Glow, Abdulla Hamdan Waleed Hazza AlicMohammed, Lakem, Tariq, Ziyad, and the rest of 8/B. They stayed close together 
Inside Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla and his friends Hamad, Falah, Ammar, Mohammed Lakem, Tariq, and Ziyad were taking pictures together to capture the moment of the field trip They stood in a group,
Glow was also there nearby, watching and waiting for them After the photos, Hamdan and Waleed walked over to Abdulla inside Qasr Al Hosn and started talking to him They reminded Abdulla again about the bag he had left earlier at the school reception. Glow was nearby while they were talking, listening to the conversation.Later, all the students from 8/B were together inside Qasr Al Hosn, continuing the guided tour.
They moved through different rooms and exhibition areas where they saw how staff used to work in the past, along with displays showing daily life, security roles, and the other things Abdulla, Hamad, Waleed, Glow, Hazza Ali , Falah, Ammar, Mohammed Lakem, Tariq Ziyad stayed close as a group while listening carefully to the guide. The guide explained how the building was once used for protection and administration, and how important it was for Abu Dhabi’s history.After that, the students from 8/B continued their tour inside Qasr Al Hosn and entered the section about UAE traditional life.
In this area, they saw displays about old Emirati traditions, including traditional clothing, houses, tools, and daily life before modern development.After the traditional section inside Qasr Al Hosn, the group from 8/B was still walking together.
Ahmed sat down near Glow for a short rest while they were looking around. At that moment, there was a small misunderstanding, and Saeed accidentally pushed Abdulla while moving or shifting his position.Meanwhile, inside Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla continued taking pictures including with guns
After that inside Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla shared his hotspot with some of his friends so they could upload pictures and use the internet He gave access to Hamad, Glow, Hamdan Waleed, Hazza Ali, Falah, Ammar, Mohammed Lakem, Tariq, and Ziyad so they could send photos, check messages, and post about the trip Later, the students from 8/B were still inside Qasr Al Hosn, continuing their tour through the different exhibition areas.
Omar Farooq joined the group as they walked, along with Sultan and Fozi. The rest of the students stayed together, making sure no one got separated while moving from one section to another.
They explored more rooms and displays, learning about UAE heritage, old tools,Later on, while continuing the tour inside Qasr Al Hosn, the students from 8/B reached an area where they saw a statue.
Everyone gathered around it and looked carefully. The guide explained what the statue represented and why it was important to the history of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The students listened closely, trying to understand its meaning and connection to the past.Later during the tour inside Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla suddenly saw Ali Adel.
Ali Adel was also there with another group, walking through the exhibition area. When Abdulla noticed him, he felt surprised and called out to him. Ali Adel looked back and recognized Abdulla,After they went outside from the indoor exhibits at Qasr Al Hosn, the group from 8/B walked to another area where there was a Special Olympics World Games 2019 display and celebration area. The Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 was a major international sporting event hosted in the UAE Outside near the exhibition area at Qasr Al Hosn, the students from many classes were all gathered together.
Thyab Waleed were there, along with classmates from 8/A, 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F. It became a big group Later on, at the Qasr Al Hosn outdoor area, the students from 8/A, 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F gathered to watch a live cultural performance.
A performer came out and did a traditional-style “yodel” performance (a vocal show), which surprised many of the students, and everyone turned to watch.Later at around 4 PM, while still outside near Qasr Al Hosn, the students noticed a manakish (manakiah) food truck parked nearby.
The smell of freshly baked bread and cheese attracted many students from 8/A, 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F. Everyone started looking toward the truck, 8/F.
He called him over , then gave Abdulla a piece of manakish from the food truck. Abdulla was surprised at first, but then he thanked him happily.Soon after, while the group was still near Qasr Al Hosn, Abdulla gave to glow a manakiah he quickly said “no After finishing the activities at Qasr Al Hosn, all the students from 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F gathered and walked back to the school buses. Meanwhile, on the buses, students from 8/A 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F were all talking about the trip—remembering the museum, the performances, the food truck, and all the fun moments.
Sultan, Fozi, and Omar Farooq were also with the group as everyone lined up under the teachers’ instructions. The students were a bit ok After the bus ride back, Abdulla Saeed from 8/E called his father to let him know he was returning to school.
He said that he would take his bag from school because the field trip was finished and they were heading back to Al Suqoor School after visiting Qasr Al Hosn.
After that, while the buses were driving back to Al Suqoor School, all the students from 8/A 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F were talking inside the bus.
The students from 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F are happy about the day.Sultan, Fozi, and Omar Farooq also joined their classmates Later on, the buses finally arrived back at Al Suqoor School after the long field trip to Qasr Al Hosn.Later, after the students returned to Al Suqoor School, Abdulla went to the reception area to collect his school bag.
His classmates left already at school around at 1pm and after they went to the field trip to Qasr Al Hosn.Around him, Hamad, Waleed, Sultan, Fozi, Abdulla Saeed, and many other classmates from 8/A, 8/B, 8/C, 8/D, 8/E, and 8/F are going normal classes tomorrow
