The Long Game

Summary

Kim Seokjin and Kim Taehyung have never been anything but rivals. On paper, they're perfect opposites. Jin, the disciplined volleyball ace who worked his way up from his family's small restaurant, known as the "Ice Prince of the Court" for his icy focus and impossible jumps. Taehyung, the wealthy baseball prodigy, born with a golden arm and a temper to match, carrying the weight of his family's expectations like a second skin. In reality, they are just two boys in the same major, the same year, locked in a battle for the top spot in everything: grades, glory, and the unspoken need to prove themselves. Their rivalry is campus legend, a collision of ice and fire leaving witnesses breathless and professors exhausted. But rivalry is a strange thing. It requires attention. It requires watching. It requires knowing your opponent so well that their movements become a second language, their habits a familiar text. And sometimes, somewhere between the mango shakes and the kimchi rice, between the stolen glances and the late-night study sessions, watching turns into something else entirely.
