A Timeless Love Story
"Loved becoming acquainted with Dorian and Cecilia. The plot twist in their history genuinely took me by surprise, and their timeless romance was sweet and satisfying. This was a slightly different take on vampires than any I’ve read before- not bad, just different - and it worked well within the story’s tone. The world‐building is outstanding, and the author paints such clear mental images that the scenes come alive. Overall, it was a great read. This is the third book I’ve read by this author, and I will without question be reading more. Highly recommend."

There's always an exception
"Romance isn't a genre I read often but I'm a sucker for vampire detectives. I was curious enough to read in spite of the romance aspect and while it's tempting to say Dorian is a good example of why I take a chance on them, that would be selling the story short. I gave it a chance because of him but I kept reading because all the characters are interesting and well written. The story itself was truly intriguing and I NEEDED to know why everything was happening. The world it all happens in is absolutely delightful to the point I found myself thinking about it for weeks after finishing the book. Weeks became months and my enthusiasm is unchanged! Rereading with the knowledge of the truth only makes it better!"
