There's always an exception
"Romance isn't a genre I read often but I'm a sucker for vampire detectives. I was curious enough to read in spite of the romance aspect and while it's tempting to say Dorian is a good example of why I take a chance on them, that would be selling the story short. I gave it a chance because of him but I kept reading because all the characters are interesting and well written. The story itself was truly intriguing and I NEEDED to know why everything was happening. The world it all happens in is absolutely delightful to the point I found myself thinking about it for weeks after finishing the book. Weeks became months and my enthusiasm is unchanged! Rereading with the knowledge of the truth only makes it better!"
