Summary

In a world of steel and silk, love is the most dangerous transaction. Luvimina is on the brink of collapse. To the North, the Kingdom of Luzara rules with an iron fist and cold technology. To the South, the Kingdom of Visalayas survives on ancient traditions and the wealth of the seas. Two worlds that have never seen eye-to-eye, now forced to become one. Crown Princess Tala Dagat is the South's "Golden Pearl"-disciplined, elegant, and the ultimate diplomat. To save her people from a Western invasion, she must marry a man she's only heard of in terrifying whispers. Isang prinsipe na kasing-lamig ng bakal ang puso. Crown Prince Julian Aguila is the "Architect of Iron." Stoic, lethal, and robotic, he views the world through logic and military strategy. He doesn't want a wife; he wants a political ally who won't break under the weight of his crown. But when the Pearl meets the Iron, the collision is enough to burn the whole empire down. In a game of fake smiles, grand galas, and deadly secrets, who will bow first?
