First of all, thank you for choosing this book. It really means a lot to me that you're giving it a chance, and I hope that it appeases you enough to stick around until the end. (^-^;
I don't know if this has ever been done before because every book I've read didn't have this, but this one has two female leads and two male leads, (Not a punchline to the Duality title mind-you).
They both live their own lives, different backgrounds, different experiences, different personalities, and of course, different endings. Creating two separate stories with shared similarities, and at some points, they collide like two streams set on reaching the bottom of the mountain. Separated only by rocks splitting the bed.
I could've written two completely separate books out of each one, but it's what they share and how the Leads influence each other that brought me to create this 2-in-1 deal.
As chapter one unfolds, we meet both female leads and carry on from there, but since this is Book One of A Crown of Thorns and Flowers, we focus mainly on one Lead than the other.
If confused, feel free to reach out. I'll accept all comments, but please be lenient, for some of you are heavily blessed with tongues deadlier than blades, and being stabbed to death isn't how I see myself going out (^.^)
Also, with everything going on nowadays, I thought it important to clarify that although the book cover is AI generated, everything written here is entirely my own.
I repeat, No AI was used to write this book.
Writing is a hobby of mine, and if the universe is on my side and people actually like my books, I will no doubt try to cultivate it to the point of reaching out to real human artists to help bring my dream covers to life and all my characters too.
If any of you think I did use AI, feel free to point those exact parts out because I'd honestly want to reread them just to smile like a total idiot coz that would honestly be the biggest compliment one can slap me in the face with.
Yes, I have em dashes in here. That's because I put them there. Em dashes existed before AI even learned how to use them, and there's no law that states that humans should surrender dashes to AI.
I don't support AI, but I can't say I'm entirely against it. So I hope y'all can let me live in this middle ground in peace because arguing is not something that I like.

When I started writting this book, I was sixteen years old and naturally felt comfortable with making Vidia sixteen as well. She gets kidnapped and shaken up, sure, but nothing that will demand this book be taken down happens to her. That, I can promise.
