a screenful of static, which resolves into a school crest. The field is hexagonal, black-and-white checkered within a gold border. A large H is superimposed on it in gold script; across the bottom is a white banner bearing the letters “H.A.E.Y.P.” Behind the crest, a square corridor can be seen, with yellow walls, ceiling, and floor marked in a honeycomb pattern. A cool female voice begins to narrate.
Narrator: The H.I.V.E. Academy for Extraordinary Young People is proud to introduce...
A platform rises into view in front of the crest, carrying three young individuals on it to block the crest. One is a very short, bald boy in a jumpsuit; a pair of goggles is propped on his forehead, and assorted controls are mounted at chest and waist level. Behind him is a very tall, beefy fellow
Narrator: Gizmo, the boy genius whose intellect can conquer any problem with an inventive solution.
During this line, cut to an extreme close-up of his chest control; he presses a button, and the camera pulls back as a pair of large metal wings sprouts from his back. He takes hold of the device at his waist, and the wings respond and carry him into the air. Lasers pop out from the wall panels and open fire against him, but he easily avoids all the shots and goes for another button. Now a small missile launcher comes up between the wings and unleashes a salvo that destroys all the guns with remarkable efficiency.
Gizmo lands on the platform he and his classmates originally stood on, then glides away as two large robots step in from portals that open up in the walls. The girl takes his place.
Narrator: Jinx, the enchanting sorceress whose powerful hexes mean bad luck for her enemies.
During this line, she extends her arms to both sides and does a 360-degree twirl, throwing off a wave of energy that causes a couple of wall panels to fall away. She leaps high off the platform, and the panels crash down on the robots’ heads. Two others have moved in during this sequence and meet the same fate. She backflips down the corridor a short distance.
Three large laser cannons emerge from recessed panels in the floor, but the giant drops into view and bends its the barrel of one of them as if it were a piece of taffy.
Narrator: And Mammoth, the genetically enhanced giant whose unstoppable strength speaks for itself.
(During this line, he tears the cannon from its moorings and does an Olympic-style hammer throw to sling it away. It skids across the floor and wrecks the other two. Close-up of him, looking very pleased with himself; a robot looms up behind the strongman and catches him in its huge hands. Gizmo jumps onto its back and attaches a small unit. Close-up of this as it screws itself down, sending up a small puff of smoke, then pull back. During the next line, Gizmo jumps free and sparks start to fly from the head; he has hot-wired the thing to put it out of action.)
Narrator: Well-organized, highly trained, and combat-equipped...
Mammoth throws off the robot, which collapses, and Gizmo lands in a crouch near the camera before running off again. As the narration continues, Jinx runs to Mammoth and springs up just before reaching him; he catches one foot and boosts her into a series of flips that carries her down the corridor.
Narrator: ...these new H.I.V.E. agents are the perfect fighting force.
She pronounces the acronym like the word “hype.” Batteries of lasers emerge from behind the walls and cut loose against Jinx, who continues her gymnastic advance. Not one shot hits her, but the positioning of the turrets on opposite walls results in their blowing each other to bits by the time she has reached the end of the gauntlet. She lands with her back to the camera, surveying her triumph, then turns to face front.
Narrator: And for the right price... (Gizmo and Mammoth slide up on either side; pull back slightly. ...this ideal team can be yours.
The image gives way to static, which resolves into the H.I.V.E. Academy’s crest against a dark field. A gray-haired woman steps into view; severe dark outfit with a hexagonal gold patch on one sleeve. This is the school’s headmistress.
Headmistress: Well, Mr. Slade?
Cut to just behind her. Slade’s shadowy form stands behind a railing on a slightly elevated platform across the area-the same industrial machine room seen in “Divide and Conquer.” Wisps of steam rise from the floor. This has been a sort of highlight reel and sales pitch that was displayed on the monitor, and her words mark the first time someone refers to Slade by name.)
Slade: Impressive. Truly. However, robots and obstacle courses only prove so much.
Extreme close-up of his eye on the end of this, then pull back across the space to give a good view of it for the first time. The monitor is one of several in a row, and the platform on which the headmistress stands stops short of them in an overhang. Slade’s vantage point is at the other end. He leads her away from the screen and deeper into the machinery; pan to follow.
Slade: My plans demand operatives who can function in the real world. (They step onto a catwalk.) If your students are going to serve me...
They reach a darkened area with two spotlights shining down from above. One pool of light is occupied by the three graduates; she steps into the other while he sits in the blackness.
Slade: ...they’ll have to pass one final exam. *Extreme close-up of his eye.* Destroy the Teen Titans, *Pull back to frame all.* and then we’ll talk.
The light on the trio goes out, and the headmistress bows before hers is extinguished as well. Only the outline of Slade’s figure and his eye are visible now. The remaining light source is switched off to black out the screen.
At titans tower
Y/n wakes up to Beast Boy and Cyborg arguing about something y/n’s groans, sits up, smacks his lips, snaps out of it, and does his morning routine. He goes to the main lobby just to see a big mess. y/n groans seeing this.
Cyborg: Aw, man, come on!
Y/n notices Raven sitting alone on the couch at the same time as Beast Boy is sniffing around, trying to find something, y/n wasn’t sure. y/n’s been crushing on Raven and Starfire for a while now. but he is nervous on who to choose. What he doesn’t know is that Raven and Starfire also have feelings for him. Y/n shrugs, slides next to Raven, wraps his arms around her, and snuggles into her shoulder. Raven glances away at the same time with her book in her face. she blushes. y/n is struggling into her like this. The Titans knew about y/n being autistic, so they try to tell him things that isn’t going to hurt his feelings.
Raven: Y/n, I told you before, if you want snuggles, go to Starfire.
y/n: Well, she’s not here, so you’re closer.
Raven groans while y/n nuzzles her, but she smiles softly without him knowing, wraps her cloaks around him, getting y/n comfortable, he lays his head on her belly while she reads her book. Cyborg speaks up.
Cyborg: How could you lose the remote?
Beast boy: (turns to human) What makes you so sure I lost it?
Cyborg gets into Beast Boy’s face.
cyborg: Uh...’cause you’re you.
Beast Boy: Hey! Just because I lost that video game
Sight gag: a new shot swings into view, showing both in “Super Deformed” style against a red field. A thought balloon is above their heads; as Cyborg mentions each of the next three items, it rolls by as if on a stock ticker, is marked with a red X, and disappears. y/n kept holding Raven as she lowered the book down, eyeing them. y/n looks at the kitchen.
Cyborg: --And the toothpaste, and my football, and the waffle iron-- (Sight gag ends; close-up of Raven.)
Beast Boy: (from o. c.) Things disappear. How am I supposed to know where they go?
She lowers her book on this line to give the camera a clear view of the annoyance in her eyes. During the next one, a vein in her temple starts to throb. y/n just shaking his head if they can find the right solution.
Cyborg: (from o. c.) Well, how am I supposed to watch TV without a remote?
Raven slams her book shut and stands up.
Raven: (icily) Simple. You just get up and change the channel.
The two squabbling boys give her and each other a very long and puzzled look.
Cyborg: Don’t even joke like that.
Back to Raven.
Raven: I wasn’t joking.
Cyborg: (from o. c.) Good, ’cause it wasn’t funny! Now either help us look for the remote, (She grimaces; angry spark by her head.) or go back to your nasty old book getting comfortable with your future boyfriend.
Y/n, not hearing the boyfriend part, looks at the kitchen, then looks at the duo at the same time. Raven grits her teeth at Cyborg; it was getting on her nerves.
Y/n: Or we can just clean the place.
The three titans look at y/n like he grew a second head. Cyborg and Beast Boy both place their hands, giving y/n a stern look.
Cyborg: I don’t have time to clean. I have to watch the big game.
y/n: What you bet on the Cowboys again?
Cyborg had no words since he always believed in that team. Raven can agree that this place does need cleaning.
Raven: (over end of previous line, face flushing) This is a pointless argument over a useless device.
A big drop of sweat appears on her temple briefly as she says this. Her face returns to its normal colour as she gets y/n off her walks to them. y/n sighs, this was one of those days where it was just pointless to hear them arguing about something. But y/n would love a clean place for once.
Raven: (from o. c.) You are wasting your energy and disrupting my concentration.
The side door behind y/n looks away from the arguing, looks to see Robin and mostly one of his crushes coming in, talking to one another. y/n blushes but glees seeing Starfire coming in, talking to Robin.
Starfire: And that is the secret to travelling faster than light.
Y/n then comes out of nowhere, latches his arms around Starfire. She gasps but smiles, giggles as y/n nuzzles her exposed belly. Robin shakes his head and is aware of y/n’s crush on both of the superheroines. Robin knows y/n wasn’t planning on Starfire down. This is pretty normal in the tower
Robin: Easy, y/n, don’t want to take her out.
Y/n: heh, don’t worry,
Starfire giggles, just returns the hugs, not minding it; they know y/n doesn’t mean to do harm.
Beast Boy: (from o. c.) I’m telling you, I didn’t lose it! You were the one watching TV last!
Starfire gasps at the same time Robin is seeing a fight happening with the other Titans, y/n continues to hug Starfire, her skin was nice and warm, plus it helps him ignore the argument.
Robin: (over the end of the previous line) Whoa! Take it easy, Titans! Combat practice is this afternoon!
Starfire: We must mend your dispute by sharing unhealthy junk foods. I shall fetch them.
Both cross the room, y/n goes with Starfire, not wanting to get involved in the fight between the three titans at the same time Robin goes to them, breaking it up or tries to. Y/n hugs Starfire, getting her attention.
Y/n: You forgot to give me snuggles this morning.
Starfire: *giggles* I’m sorry, y/n, after I fetch the food, then we’ll snuggle.
Y/n gives her hip a poke, she giggles, opening the fridge to only see blue mould, and the food was bad, y/n cringes, seeing this hasn’t been clean since the titans started living here, a bubble formed in front of Starfire, she shrieks, throwing a starbolt at it, making the fighting stop, but it made a bigger miss.
Robin: Maybe we should just go out for pizza.
Y/n covered in all of it. Raven uses her magic to get it off him. He smiles, thanking her. Raven returns the favor, y/n then looks at the leader after he said that.
Y/n: Or, we can clean the place.
Robin knew what y/n is talking about, but since everyone is at each other’s throats over a remote.
Robin: We’ll start when we get back.
Y/n: Good, *pulls out a cleaning chart* cause I already made a cleaning chart.
The Titans just stare at y/n with a blank stare, seeing he doesn’t play when it comes to cleaning time, as Beast Boy looks at it, seeing he’s got laundry.
Beast Boy: Dude! Why do I get laundry?
Y/n gives Beast Boy a glare with fire coming out of his eyes, making the animal titan flinch just to see y/n isn’t playing even the other titans knew to never question y/n’s schedule on cleaning day.
Y/n: You want to do all of the chores.
Beast Boy gives him a thumbs up with a tear drop on his head, letting y/n know he’s good. y/n calms down, then leaves pattiing the green titan on the top of his head. Starfire flies to catch up to y/n, giggling. The other titans are watching y/n leaving.
Beast Boy: Since when did it get so scary?
Robin: You know how he feels about cleaning day. *looks at the place shivers* And I don’t blame him.
Raven looks at Beast Boy.
Raven: Just don’t go sniffing panties this time.
Cyborg: What?
The titans were now at the pizza place, looking over the menu, trying to order something that sounded good. Y/n already has a suit on with a watch that can put it on for him. sitting between Raven and Starfire, trying something,
Robin: Black olives and mushrooms!
Beast Boy: Onions.
Cyborg: Pepperoni!
Starfire: Anchovies.
Raven: Can we please just order something?
Beast Boy: As long as it’s vegetarian.
Cyborg: Come on, man, how can you deny me the all-meat experience?
Beast Boy: (offended) Dude, I’ve been most of those animals!
y/n sighs, even out here, they were going to argue, but stayed out of it, y/n, feeling bored, starts playing with Raven’s cloak. She notices this, she didn’t do anything, she knows y/n can’t have a habit of not sitting still. So she lets him. She pulls him close to her, y/n giggles. letting him lay on her shoulder.
Starfire: I suggest a large pizza with pickles, bananas, and mint frosting.
She beams at her suggestion, but Beast Boy is visibly repulsed by the combination, and Cyborg and Raven think just as little of it, as we see when they slide into view next to him. Robin leans over to her. Y/n is thinking about those combos.
Robin: Uh, Starfire? Not everything on the menu is a pizza topping.
Starfire: Oh!
Y/n: Although it does sound like the best combo, like BBQ pizza.
Starfire smiles and blushes at y/n’s interest as the other Titans, even Raven, are giving y/n a disturbed look, not knowing where he is hearing about barbecue pizza.
Y/n: but with chicken on it.
Raven: Ugh, you’re such a dork.
Then the argument starts again about meat and veggies, y/n groans this was one of those days he should have stayed in bed.
While this was happening, the Titans aren’t aware that they were being watched by a trio of trouble.
Gizmo: Gizmo to Jinx.
Cut to her, standing next to a parked bus and with a hand cupped to her ear: she is receiving his transmission on a hidden radio.
Gizmo: (over the radio) Begin Phase One.
She carelessly tosses a spell at the bus, causing it to start rolling downhill. Back to the pizza joint, as the vehicle’s horn blares from down the street, the Titans stand up from the table. The sound of a baby crying from ground level elicits a shocked gasp from Beast Boy. Cut to the source, a carriage in the crosswalk, and tilt up to show the bus on a collision course.
Robin: Titans! Go!
They immediately spring into action while the bus keeps bearing down on the crosswalk. Starfire pushes the carriage out of the way, and Cyborg and Raven plant themselves in the vehicle’s path. When the bus reaches him, he pushes back against the front fender to slow it down. Close-up of his feet grinding against the pavement, then of Raven as she casts a spell, then of the bus’ gearshift lever. It is in neutral, but under her influence it slides into park. From here, cut to a close-up of one tire, which stops spinning and goes into a tearing skid, then pull back. Cyborg has finally brought the thing to a stop with only a foot or two to spare between him and Raven. The doors have come open, revealing an empty driver’s seat. He straightens himself up.
Cyborg: Um...don’t buses normally have drivers?
Y/n joins Robin, Beast Boy, and Starfire, Robin holding a teddy bear in his hands that was in the baby carriage.
Robin: And don’t baby carriages normally have babies?
The two Titans near him look in as well. His perspective: he is holding a teddy bear that had been taking the place of the typical occupant. Its eyes are green, the same color as the lenses of Gizmo’s goggles, and his voice is heard next. This was the source of the crying as well.
Gizmo: (over a hidden speaker) Are you pit-sniffers normally this stupid?
The bear’s head swivels slightly toward the camera on the end of this, and the eyes suddenly glow and fire laser beams. Pull back; Robin, y/n, Beast Boy, and Starfire are projected screaming through the air as a result of the hit, with smoke trailing behind them. Tilt down to Raven and Cyborg, still standing in front of the bus, which suddenly seems to tilt back onto the rear wheels of its own volition. They look up, completely flabbergasted as the shadow falls over them, and the camera pulls back to show the reason for the spontaneous wheelie. Mammoth has seized the rear bumper and levered the mode of mass transit into the air, then brought it down on top of the two. As the dust clears, he walks forward and brushes dust from his hands, and Gizmo’s nasty laughter is heard. He and Jinx step into view just in front of the camera, which has backed up to ground level.
Gizmo: (from o. c.) That was too easy. (Cut to these two.) What a buncha cludge-heads. You guys want to get pizza?
Quick pan to Y/n, Robin, Beast Boy, and Starfire, who have ended up in an alley, on the next line. Beast Boy is in a trash can, with a banana peel on his head.
Robin: This isn’t over!
Lucky for y/n, no one saw him change into his costume. Except for Robin and Starfire, the Titans knew y/n just loves to be out of uniform when they aren’t fighting crime. He goes by the name Shadow. Y/n nuzzles starefires’ boobs.
Y/n: heh, lucky landing.
Starfire giggles, blushes, y/n then gets off. They glare at the hive. A blue laser came out of nowhere behind the three hives. Raven and Cyborg emerge from the crater, pointing their lasers at the bad guys.
He dusts himself off a bit. Back to Mammoth and the bus, which, without warning, gets blasted to one side. Cyborg’s sonic cannon, protruding from a hole in the ground, is revealed as the driving force.
Cyborg: (standing up from the hole) We’re just getting started!
A bird-shaped shadow looms up behind him. It resolves into Raven as she brings her arms back in and wraps her cloak around herself.
Beast Boy: Who are these guys? (A question mark appears by his head.) And what’s a cludge-head?
Gizmo: We are the H.I.V.E.!
Mammoth: Your worst nightmare!
Jinx: And this is Attack Pattern Alpha!
She and Mammoth scramble, and a jet pack on Gizmo’s back carries him into the air. He fires a volley of laser shots at the alley, chipping loose large hunks of masonry so that they fall on the three Titans. Cut to Raven and Jinx in close quarters spell-to-spell combat, then pan to the grappling Cyborg and Mammoth. The H.I.V.E. alumnus is pushed back down the street at Robin and company emerge from the rockslide Gizmo set off.
Mammoth: What do you call an idiot with a rocket on his back?
Gizmo zooms over and sticks one between Cyborg’s shoulder blades.
Cyborg: Huh?
Gizmo: Doomed!
He gets clear and touches a control, igniting the rocket and sending Cyborg veering crazily over the buildings. y/n, Robin, Beast Boy, and Starfire watch from the alley as his yells of panic drift down to them. Starfire gasps
Starfire: Cyborg!
She takes off to catch up with him, but a sudden change in direction throws her off. Tilt down from the sky to Raven; Jinx comes at her with a jumping spin kick, but she ducks away and gets behind the funny-haired sorceress. Dodging two more strikes, Raven counters with a backhand. Close-up of Jinx as she blocks it.
Jinx: You fight like a boy. (Tilt up; Gizmo is overhead, now balanced on four tall spider-like legs.)
Gizmo: And you’re gonna croak like a frog!
Gizmo shoots a laser at Raven, sending her flying y/n sees this caught her, only to crash into Robin. Beast Boy runs past them.
He turns into an elephant and continues his rush, but stops short suddenly at the sound of grunting from the mammoth. Pull back to show that the big lummox has lifted him clean off his feet; his fellow graduates are watching.
Mammoth: Mammoth’s gonna make you extinct
Y/n is putting Raven down at the same time Robin sees Beast Boy in trouble.
Robin: Beast Boy! Hang on!
Robin then tries to save Beast Boy, only for Mammoth to punch Beast Boy, sending him crashing into Robin, sending them back to y/n and Raven. y/n then glares at the hive. He takes out his katana and dashes to the hive. tempting to cut the robot’s legs of gizmo. only for jinx to use her magic making him trip.
Y/n: Whoa!
Jinx holds y/n’s chin smirks.
Jinx: Didn’t your mommy tell you not to run with sharp objects?
Y/n: I don’t know why you don’t ask her when you’re in jail.
Jinx widens her eyes. His mom is in jail. Before she can speak, Mammoth picks y/n up by the throat and then punches y/n very hard. Raven gasps.
Raven: ¡Y/n!
She flies up and catches y/n in her arms. Jinx doesn’t even know anything about shadow. Robin widens his eyes to see that his teammate is down, knocked out, mammoth dusting his hands.
Mammoth: Three down, three more to go.
Raven looks at y/n, seeing him not moving at all. Concerned for him, she puts him on the sidewalk, kisses him on the cheek, then joins Beast Boy and Robin.
Beast Boy: Is it me, or are we getting our butts kicked? (The others stand up.)
Robin and Raven: (in unison) It’s just you.
Robin: Listen up, team. I have a plan.
Two of Gizmo’s shots flash into view and send Raven and Beast Boy flying. Robin manages to get out of the way; they end up almost a block away.
Gizmo: (from o.c.) Gee, scrum-buffer. (Cut to the H.I.V.E. team; he is back on the ground.) Sure hope your fancy plan includes getting fried!
The weapon that fired those shots is poking over his shoulder. It levels itself at Robin, who stands his ground.
Robin: You’ll just have to find out the hard way.
He takes up a fighting stance, holding one hand out with its back to the trio, and flicks the fingers toward himself: “bring it on.” The shoulder-mounted laser zeroes in and fires a shot, and the camera cuts to the point of impact on the street and starts to pull back quickly. A long crack opens in the asphalt ahead of the strike; Jinx leaps backward into view, landing on her knees, and throws a spell that breaks the fissure wider. Tilt up from her to Mammoth, who leaps in with a mighty yell and brings all his weight down on the fault line. Pull back to an overhead view to reveal that the net effect of this three-way combo has been to open a very wide chasm, which runs straight down the middle of the road toward Robin. Cut to this; he tumbles screaming into the darkness beneath Jump City and is lost to our eyes.
Shift to just beneath the road surface, looking out past the edge of the massive fracture zone. Raven and Beast Boy arrive at the scene, and the camera dissolves to a longer shot of them while pulling back slowly to the surface of the murky tide that flows down here. The Titans’ leader is nowhere to be seen in the murky tide. Close-up of the two.
Beast Boy: Robin!
Raven looks at the hive. Then they look back at a down y/n, they were outmatched.
Raven: We need to retreat now.
Before Beast Boy can say anything, Raven quickly uses a spell to make them disspear taking y/n along with them. The hive laughs evilly. This wasn’t going to be over, not by a long shot.
Back at Titans Tower
Y/n’s vision was coming back, sitting in the chair on the lower level of the tower next to Beast Boy with Raven healing his leg, y/n rubs his face, and groans. squinting his eyes, not knowing what happened.
Y/n: ugh.
Beast Boy looks at y/n.
Beast Boy: Rise and shine, sleepy head.
Raven, seeing y/n, is now awake with his mask next on he armrest, she took it off to check his wounds goes over to y/n kneels right close to him.
Raven: You okay, y/n?
Y/n: Yeah, now I know what it’s like getting punched by Beast Boy, when he’s a gorilla.
Raven then hugs y/n, catching him off guard, glad he’s okay y/n pauses, hugs her back, running his hands on her back. blushing y/n loved this even Raven as y/n slips his hands under her cloak.
Raven: Be careful next time.
Y/n: I will..but damn, i’m going to be sore.
Raven: Can’t argue with that.
Raven places her hand on his cheek, seeing some uses her magic to heal it, y/n smiles at her. Raven gives y/n a soft smile still healing him, she touches her forehead.
Y/n: heh, so you got a spell for if I die, you have to bring me back?
Raven: Don’t joke like that.
Although she wishes there was. Once Raven was done healing him, she looked into his eyes, still rubbing his cheek. y/n places his hands on her ass, touching both cheeks. earning a blush. But they forgot Beast Boy was still in the room.
Beast boy: Uh, guys, I’m right here.
Y/n and Raven both blush, but stop as soon as the two doors open up, revealing Starfire and Cyborg, y/n rushes over to starfire latches his arms around her exposed waist. y/n starts nuzzling her exposed belly. then her cheeks. Starfire giggles, seeing she’s back.
Starfire: Hee I missed you too.
Starfire picks y/n up, carries him back to the others, letting y/n hold her.
Cyborg: Maybe y’all should call me Flyborg. I was halfway to Gotham City before Star zapped that thing off my back. So what’d I miss?
Raven cannot meet his eyes; neither can Beast Boy when the camera pans to him.
Cyborg: Tell me how we kicked their butts. Come on, I gotta have the play-by-play.
Starfire: Where is Robin?
Now that she mentioned y/n hasn’t seen the leader since he was punched by a mammoth, still holding onto Starfire’s waist, he lets go of her, looks at Beast Boy and Raven for answers.
Beast Boy: Um, Star? We’re not sure.
Starfire: (from o. c.) Not sure? (Back to her.) Why are you not--?
Raven: We searched everywhere. (Cut to her waist level.) And all we found was this
She produces his utility belt from beneath her cloak. Starfire gasps in horror; Cyborg groans and claps both hands to his forehead. y/n’s eyes widen seeing the belt. He couldn’t believe even if he wanted to. y/n’s eyes starts watering. he snaps out of it hoping robin is going to be alright or mostly alive.
Cyborg: I shoulda been there. I let that kid sneak up on me and, what was I--? It was a trap, and I-- I shoulda known.
Starfire: I do not understand. (Cut to Raven and Beast Boy; she continues o. c.) How could you not find him? (Pull back; she looks straight at Raven.) People do not just vanish! He has to be someplace, so go there and look!
Beast Boy puts himself between the two girls to keep things from getting ugly.
Beast Boy: Easy, Star. Come on. This is Robin we’re talking about. I’m sure he’s fine. He’ll probably turn up any second.
Pull back to frame the entire group; the door mechanism kicks into gear once more.
Beast Boy: Awesome timing.
Starfire: Robin!
Y/n quickly puts his mask on just in case it wasn’t Robin, and he was right, they weren’t, it was the hive looking for another fight. y/n then looks over to Beast Boy, giving him a glare
Y/n: You just had to be wrong.

The five Titans get ready to fight.
Cyborg: You guys got lucky last time, but you’re in our house now!
The trio advances.
Gizmo: Yeah, nice place. We’ll take it!
By now, they have moved close enough to the camera to frame Jinx’s face in extreme close-up. From here, cut to a corner of the hall, which is promptly lost under the glare and dust cloud of a large o. c. explosion. When the view clears, Raven is levitating chairs and sending them in the H.I.V.E.’s direction, while Starfire tosses off some starbolts from overhead y/n avoiding Jinx’s attacks. Beast Boy tumbles into view and clambers away to make room for Cyborg; tilt up to his head level as he backs up again, firing his cannon.
Cyborg: Split up!
The Titans split up with y/n using the shadows as his hideout. He is Beast Boy, in his cheetah form. the girls were dealing with mammoth. Cyborg is dealing with Gizmo. y/n is in the hallways, seeing Jinx looking for him and Beast Boy. Y/n then steps out of the shadows once she walks past him kicks her in the back, sending her crashing to the ground, on her belly.
Jinx: oof! *sits up glares* lucky shot.
Y/n: alone without your Boyfriend and that nerd.
Jinxs grits her teeth at y/n after he said that her hands begin glowing, ready to fight.
Jinx: Mammoth is not my boyfriend.
Beast Boy sees y/n in a fighting pose. Beast Boy joins y/n. They both look at each other, then at Jinx. y/n rubbing the back of his head.
Y/n: Oh, so the nerd is your boyfriend... that’s weird.
Jinx huffs, hearing this.
Jinx: pff! None of those guys is my boyfriend.
Jinx then shoots her spells at y/n, he and Beast Boy dodge them, y/n then charges at the girls with no sword, they begin hand-to-hand combat as y/n is avoiding Jinx’s moves. Beast Boy uses this chance to get away.
Y/n: not bad, thats if you had those two.
Jinx: I don’t need them to beat you.
Y/n shakes his head, pinning Jinx to the wall. She does, kicking him off. y/n taking cover from her pink waves. beast boy tempts as a wolf tries to pounce jinx but she turns around.
Jinx: Bad boy.
Beat boy was shot out of the tower, y/n’s eyes widens leaving him alone.

With Raven,
she was dealing with Gizmo after he dealt with Cyborg by hacking into his systems, raven is scanning the room looking for the brat, since starfire is keeping Mammoth busy.
Raven: Where are you hiding, twerp?
Gizmo’s backpack grabs her wrist and legs, making her gasp. It wraps its claws around her ankles and grabs her. Raven squirms, trying to break free. At the same time, Mammoth came back with Starfire in his hands on her wrist.

Gizmo got the arms to lower Raven to her knees, extending her back. Raven glares at him at the same time Starfire is trying to get out of Mammaoth’s grip. Jinx isn’t sure what y/n is talking about, but it sounded interesting. She lowers her guard, thinking about his words, thinking about if she is doing the right thing.
Jinx: Not going to lie they trained you well..but why didn’t you?
Y/n: cause I don’t want to hurt the people I care about the most.
Jinx clenches her fist, thinking about what she is doing, thinking about that bus, if it were people in that bus, they could have died, even that baby carriage if it had a baby in it.
Jinx: As I said, my powers cause bad luck, not good luck.
Y/n: Maybe, you can use that power for good.
Jinx turns away from him, figuring that Gizmo and Mammoth are still keeping the others busy. She loves hurting people, but she is thinking to herself whether y/n’s right about her being a hero, using her bad luck to do good. looks glances at y/n.

Y/n: How much do they treat you?

Jinx: Not..good.
Y/n sighs, thinking about whether he’s making a mistake he doesn’t want to make the others think he’s betraying them. he hopes his words are getting to her. Jinx stands down, lowering her powers.
Jinx: They’re not my real friends. I don’t want to kill people, I just... want to hurt them.
Y/n goes over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder, getting her attention with a smile, getting Jinx to blush, seeing him just touching her shoulder, he glances up to her.
Y/n: then hurt bad guys, that’s what I’m doing.
Jinx never thought that she hates mammoths and Gizmo, she then pulls y/n for a hug, catching him off guard. A villain is hugging him out of all the people he has fought. This has never happened. She is tearing up.
Jinx: I’m...sorry I.

The defeated Titans are outside, looking at the tower, seeing y/n is still inside, facing those jerks alone. the other four titans are standing watching the view not happy as Beast boy tries to cheer everyone up
Beast Boy: So, uh...who else never wants to go surfing again?
Cyborg: (really annoyed) Not now, man.
Beast Boy: Hey, I was just trying to--
Raven puts a hand on his shoulder to cut him off. Cyborg extends a small acetylene torch from his left forefinger. The panel on his thigh opens, revealing a plethora of sparks and short circuits. Pull back to behind him; Starfire approaches as he bends down to the self-repair work.
Starfire: Perhaps I could be of some assistance.
Cyborg: I got it.
Starfire: But you are so damaged and--
Cyborg: (rounding on her; she gasps) I got it!
Beast Boy: Hey! She only wanted to help! What is your problem?
Cyborg: What do you think?! (Long shot of them and the Tower.) We got kicked out of our house, a pint-size Poindexter took me for a joyride, and in case you haven’t noticed, I just became left-handed!
Raven: Enough! We need to control our emotions.
Cyborg: Or what?! Our bad vibes will keep you from meditating?!
Raven: Hey! the little twerp just molested me and star
Cyborg and Beast Boy had no idea that had just happened to them, so they dropped the conversation. Starfire is feeling sad, wanting a hug from y/n but he hasn’t come out it was making Starfire and raven worries about their comrades
Starfire: I wish Robin were here.
Cyborg: (from o.c.) Well, he’s not! (Pull back to frame them all.) Don’t you guys get it?! They won, we lost! IT’S OVER!!
Cut to a patch of water and pan slowly to the shore. The four heroes stand slumped in defeat.
Beast Boy: Then...the Teen Titans are finished?
Robin: (from o.c.) Not yet.
His voice draws four very surprised glances over four assorted pairs of shoulders. Pan quickly in that direction to show him standing in front of some bushes; arms crossed, confident smile, cape waving in the breeze. Except for his missing belt, everything is in proper order. Dissolve to a close-up of his chest and tilt up to his face.
Robin: Not if I can help it.
The Titans were happy to see Robin back. He begins telling them the plan. Four titans look at each other, loving the plan, but one problem. It wasn’t going to work without y/n.
Raven: What about y/n? He’s still stuck in the tower with those jerks.
Robin gave all of his teammates as they were looking at him for answers.
Robin: Don’t worry, we’ll save him.
back at Titans Tower
Jinx brought y/n to Gizmo and Mammoth, taking him hostage even though they aren’t aware that she is going to betray them. They are in the main lobby, where Gizmo is telling the mammoth to put the arm.
Gizmo: Higher...a little to the left...a little more...and... (take his hands down and gives a thumbs-up) ...perfect!
(Pull back across the room and down to ground level to put him in view. The arm is mounted high on the wall.)
Gizmo: (walking away) Slade’s gonna have kittens when he hears we whipped the Titans and took their stinking Tower!
On the end of this, cut to the kitchen as he passes it. Mammoth looks in the fridge, while Jinx comes down the stairs. Close-up of her; she has donned Robin’s belt, which sits askew on her hips, similar to the way Raven wears hers, and has one of the latter’s spare cloaks over her arm.
Jinx: Not to mention Robin’s favorite fashion statement. (She eyes the cloak and sighs with contempt.) But that’s the only thing fashionable around here.
Y/n looks over to Jinx. She glances at him, hoping this plan is going to work, y/n, seeing her with Raven’s cloaks in her arm, wearing Robin’s belt.
y/n: Uh, Raven isn’t going to be happy with someone going into her room.
Jinx goes over to y/n, placing her hand on his chin, getting him to look at her in the eyes, so the two idiots won’t listen in on the plan she had to play the part.
Jinx: Who cares! It’s our place now.
She gives y/n a wink, playing along with it, and so does he, who is doing the same thing, y/n looks over to see Mammoth raiding the fridge taking a look at their moldy food.
Mammoth: Tell me about it. (He pulls a moldy hamburger from the fridge.) Hmph. All their food is way out of date.
This does not stop him from downing the burger in one gulp, y/n just stares at him disturb that he’s eating that crap. Then looks to see Gizmo is going through their CDs.
Gizmo: (from o. c.) You think that stuff’s rotten? (Cut to him in the operations center; he holds up a CD.) Wait ’til you see their music. (tossing it aside, then another) Crud...snot...
y/n: Oh those are just beast boys.
Gizmo stops shaking his head.
Gizmo: He’s got bad taste in music, then.
y/n notices cyborg’s arm is on the counter with a finger, looking at y/n, seeing it moving on its own. y/n figures cyborg must somehow managed to hack his own harm. The hand waves at y/n. he nods, knowing that the Titans had a plan. y/n then gets an idea to distract the hive, at the same time not blowing Jinx’s cover, as she is still wearing Raven’s cloak.
Y/n: You know, I’m curious why you guys didn’t tie me up?
Gizmo laughs, turns to him, not aware that the cyborg’s arm is alive.
Gizmo: ha! Look at us, twerp! You can’t even escape Jinx, and she’s just a girl with weird powers!
Y/n gasps, looks at Jinx, seeing the truth that is coming out; she was being used by these guys. She looks to the ground, knew y/n was right all along, these guys just cared about themselves. Before she can act. The alarm went off. y/n looks around, then looks to see the cyborg’s arm doing the work.
Y/n: * heh, nice one, cyborg.*
This is the only intelligible word he gets out before trailing off into surprised yells and losing his balance to tumble on the floor. He slides backward as the rack continues its impression of a skeet-shooting target launcher.
Gizmo: What the hairball?
The chair of the nearest console swivels to give him a good look at the arm occupying it; he cries out in surprise and fear. The tentacles have retracted, but now, they shoot forth again and wrap around his arms and legs. The bionic limb jumps down and speeds across the floor, dragging one very surprised pipsqueak, and pops a couple of small jet thrusters out from the forearm. These ignite and carry it into the air; the hand balls into a fist as the thing aims itself toward the ceiling and carries Gizmo up with it.
Long shot of a ceiling air vent. The arm closes in on it and punches through; cut to inside the ductwork as it races along and takes Gizmo for one very wild ride and out of sight around a bend. Back in the kitchen, a large shadowy hand reaches down behind Jinx and seizes her. She has time for one startled cry before it recedes into the ceiling and takes her with it; the sort of thing only Raven could do. The big lug is left standing by himself; the side door opens on its own, and a starbolt rockets into view from the left side of the screen to knock him through it. Starfire has made it into the Tower. The door closes. Once everyone was gone, y/n noticed Starfire floating out the window. he took his katana.
Starfire: would you like a lift?
Y/n: oh would I
Y/n jumps into the heroine’s arms, wrapped around her, and she gives y/n a lift. He looks at the alien heroine as she is flying them all the way up to the tower. y/n gives her a kiss on the cheek. earning a giggle. from her.
at roof level, and zoom in before dissolving to the surface. A large black raven emerges from the surface and rises o.c., leaving Jinx there to drop to her knees. We have just witnessed Raven’s “soul-self” at work, a projection that can carry individuals from one place to another. Behind Jinx, Cyborg’s arm bursts out of a vent pipe and carries the screaming Gizmo higher and higher before veering back toward his classmate. Zoom in to an extreme close-up of her face as she gasps in shock and her eyes widen, just before she is hit head-on and both roll halfway across the roof. Having released Gizmo, the arm flies away, and the closed door of the stairs or elevator leading up here slides open. A green flash of a starbolt plays across the screen, and Mammoth is blasted out onto the roof. He ends up next to the other two H.I.V.E. agents. Starfire lets y/n down, joining his teammates. Just to see Robin is back.

Robin: (from o. c.) Sorry to interrupt the victory celebration. (Cut to his waist level; he fastens it.) But like I said... (Head level.) ...this isn’t over.
Cyborg is there, reattaching his arm, and the other three Titans soon arrive.)
Cyborg: It’s just getting started.
The trio stands up.
Jinx: Attack Pattern Alpha!
Gizmo and Mammoth scatter while she shouts and throws a spell. The Titans scramble to avoid it; when it hits the rooftop, a panel swells and explodes. Beast Boy comes down from his jump only to find Mammoth coming straight at him. He jumps away again and turns into a falcon as the giant slams his fist down on the roof and sends a shock wave toward Cyborg. Jinx lands behind the latter and vaults high over his shoulders, hurling a spell down at him as she sails through the air. It knocks out the base of a water tank and causes the whole thing to topple toward Cyborg, who gets out of the way just in time before a second tank collapses nearby. y/n is dealing with a mammoth with Raven’s help, of course
Cut to Starfire in midair, throwing a few Tamaranean fastballs, then to Jinx as she nimbly dodges them and ducks out of sight behind part of the new construction. Starfire flies in after her.
Jinx stops fighting, Starfire looks over to see y/n fighting a mammoth with Raven, seeing how she is using her magic powers. She looks at herself, remembering what y/n said. Beast Boy and Starfire are looking at each other, not sure what she’s planning.
Gizmo: Hey, Robo-Wimp. (He pulls out his tool.) Feel like getting hacked?
Cyborg: Nope. How ’bout you? Robin! Now!
But before Robin can do anything, Jinx has had enough of Gizmo, and Mammoth uses her magic to hit Gizmo, sending him flying. Robin stops, looks over at Jinx, seeing her eyes glow, which confuses him; even Cyborg isn’t sure. Mammoth sees this starfire and beast boy were just stunned. Gizmo gets up glares at jinx.
Gizmo: Hey! What was that for?
Jinx approaches Gizmo, not happy. Every titan except for y/n is just lost now. Jinx attacked her teammate. Mammoth sees that she is betraying them, but is kicked in the face by y/n.
Jinx: Tell the boss, I fucking quit.
Gizmo then sees her attacking him, he gets out of the way, standing next to Mammoth, who is rubbing his chin.
Gizmo: You’re making a big mistake witch!
Jinx: no I’m not! Someone told me I can use my powers for good, someone accepted me for who I am, unlike you sickos; all you guys treated me like I don’t exist!
Robin looks at y/n, seeing him smiling, not even bothered by this at all. Jinx then goes to y/n wrapping her arms around him putting her hands on his chest. y/n blushes.
Gizmo: You! Join forces with him! Traitor!
Mammoth charges at the titans only for Jinx to use her magic to make him trip. As y/n kicks him in the gut. Cyborg looks at robin knowing that wasn’t the plan.
Cyborg: That was unexpected.
Robin: Yes, it was. *to y/n seeing him fighting the bad guys with jinx* Y/n, care to explain.
The titans look at y/n.
Y/n: uh..bad guys first then questions later.
The titans look at each other. He was on to something, so they teamed up with Jinxs.
Mammoth, running like sixty, and pull back to show him advancing on Raven. He aims a colossal punch at her, but she flies up to avoid it and comes down behind him. When he turns to charge again, Cyborg rams a shoulder into him. It takes some time for him to touch down on the roof and stop skidding; when he does, the view shifts to letterbox, in the top third of the screen. Pan ahead of Mammoth just a bit to show Beast Boy, as a T. rex, waiting for him. One snarl is all it takes to make the overgrown villain completely freak out and run for his life. Fullscreen: Starfire gathers all her strength for a starbolt and lets it go, hitting Mammoth dead center in the gut. Jinx is using her powers to knock the mammoth back. Just for Robin and y/n, both kick him in the face, sending him crashing into Gizmo. Gizmo pulls out his commutactor.
Gizmo: Cram it. I’m calling Slade.
Robin yanks him up to eye level as he switches it on.
Robin: Who is Slade?
Gizmo: Wouldn’t you like to know, barf-brain?
Jinx approaches the leader of the titans.
Jinx: Just some guy who hired us..*pause* Well, they took you guys out.
Gizmo and mammoth’s jaws dropped as Jinx tied them up with her magic with her metal. Robin just arches his eyebrow at Jinx, telling him the whole thing about Slade. Beast Boy changes into a human while Cyborg rubs his head.
Beast Boy: dude, whose side is she on?
Cyborg looks at y/n since he’s the last one in the tower. Beast Boy told him he was fighting Jinx before he got tossed out, Raven, and Starfire. Both look at y/n, having his hands over his head.
Cyborg: Um, did something happen between you and Jinx
Y/n: Lets just say, Words can be very powerful.
Jinx looks at y/n, rubbing her arm, at the same time. Robin goes to y/n.
Robin: True, but I would love a rundown on what happened.
Gizmo and mammoth give Jinx a glare, even y/n, y/n hunches, hoping it wasn’t going to be long to explain to Robin.
Snap to black and pan until the long shot of Slade’s lair, as seen in the prologue, comes into view. The H.I.V.E. Academy’s headmistress speaks during this movement and comes into view at the edge of the platform.
Headmistress: I assure you, such failures are not tolerated within the H.I.V.E. (Close-up of her.) Once the agents have been retrieved from the authorities, they will be disciplined. (Cut to waist level; she socks a fist into her palm.) Strictly disciplined. not to mention jinx’s betrayal well not go unnoticed
Cut to another part of the platform. Slade steps out from among the pipes; the Headmistress has been addressing herself to him. The light glinting off his figure shows the colors from gray on the right side of his head, red-orange on the left.
Slade: Actually, your agents served my plans quite well. I never expected them to succeed. (Extreme close-up of his eye; light shines on it.) They were merely messengers. And the message has been received.
On the end of this, pan slightly to a transmitter in his raised left hand, a counterpart of the one Gizmo carried. He activates it, and on the monitor behind the headmistress, an image of Robin appears; caught on film by Gizmo and asking “Who is Slade?” over and over. Pull back slowly as more images of different sizes appear to fill the screen, then back to the long shot of the lair as they pop up on the entire row of screens. That three-word question is repeated countless times by all of them. If Slade’s intent was to bring his name to the Titans’ attention, the H.I.V.E. crew did indeed meet his expectations.
Cut to the exterior of the Tower. The original architecture has been restored. y/n is telling Robin what went down between him and Jinx. Everything about her past is that she never really had friends, as Jinx did outside of his room, hoping she isn’t in too much trouble about attacking them during the day.
Y/n: That’s about it, I don’t know what came over me, but something inside me knew that Jinx’s bad luck powers can be use for good luck powers.
Robin smiles softly. He has the same experience with other villains, seeing them go from bad to good. y/n hope he wasn’t in trouble for not taking Down the villain only to see the good side.
Robin: You saw the way she used her powers for bad, but you can tell she can use them for good. just like she did with the two hive members, that’s mostly a major step of being a hero. taking chances.
Y/n: So, I’m not in trouble.
Robin: No, you’re not, you had a feeling that her luck can be used for good too, not just bad
After the conversation, they go out of y/n’s room just to see Jinx outside. She looks at Robin, feeling guilty for putting them through all of this yesterday. She takes a deep breath.
Jinx: Robin..I’m sorry for attacking you and your team. If you want to put me in jail, it’s fine, I* pause* deserve it. mostlly won’t show my face ever again.
Robin steps up to her. He trusts Y/n’s judgment more than anyone else’s. He looks into Jinx’s eyes.
Robin: Yes, you do deserve to be in jail after the stunt you pulled yesterday.
Jinx sighs knew that was coming, but Robin wasn’t done.
Robin: But you did turn over a new leaf, and betray Gizmo and Mammoth, helping us take them down, so it’s all forgiven.
Jinx looks back, surprised that the leader is forgiving her after all of yesterday. seeing the smile on Robin’s face
Jinx: But what about the bus thing?
Robin: *smiles* Yes, it was reckless, but no one got killed, you’re off the hook.
y/n places a hand on Jinx’s shoulder, gets her attention, and she blushes a bit.
Y/n: Hey, be lucky, I don’t know much about Gotham. But you’re getting a chance to make things right, and yesterday was one of them.
Jinx’s heart was beating, smiling, being happy that the leader is giving her a chance, she bows to Robin feeling good that she forgives him that is very rare for someone from Gotham
Jinx: Thanks, Robin.
Robin: You should thank y/n, he’s known to have the powers of words.
Jinx looks at y/n, hugs him again, y/n chuckles, returns the hug, running his hands on her back. Jinx moans, blushes, loving how his hands feel. Robin notices y/n’s face is red.
Jinx: You’re not wrong about that.
Y/n: It just comes to me.
Robin: if you want Jinx, you can join the team.
Jinx looks at robin then back at y/n. Robin isn’t good when it comes to trusting people who were once villains, y/n gives her a nod. Jinx smiles, feeling welcome.
Jinx: I would love that to..use my powers for good.
They both shook hands until they heard Starfire screaming in the hangout room, and all three of them went to see what she was screaming about this time.
Starfire: Someone has disposed of all our blue furry food!
Y/n places a hand on her shoulder, getting Starfire’s attention, calming her down. Jinx watches but then looks at the titan just minding their own business at a clean tower.
Y/n: It’s for the best, star. How about snuggles to cheer you up?
Starfire giggles, pulls y/n for a hug, and y/n melts to it, placing his hands on her back. He looks at her belly button, sticks a finger into it, and begins fingering it. she moans they both sat down
Raven: Give you one warning. Never go into my room, got it.

Cyborg: (lifting the couch) You gotta be kidding me! The whole place gets cleaned and I still can’t find the--

He drops the couch and sits down on it with Robin, who has started to flip channels. Starfire goes to the couch, bringing y/n along, getting him to laugh, and placing him in the seat between raven, y/n pulls the goth heroine close to him. He begins rubbing her ass with his hand, earning a blush from her. She just accepts it, glad he’s fine.
Cyborg: I guess we really oughta be training for battles, tracking down clues, and trying to figure out who Slade is, huh? (Pull back as the other three gather around the couch on this line.)
Robin: We will. But right now, I’m just happy to be part of the team.
Y/n then looks back to see Jinx standing alone smirks.
Y/n: Come on, join us.
The titans look over, seeing Jinx is still standing there looking at them.
Jinx: Really?
Y/n nods. Jinx smiles, seeing Robin approve this, she joins the Titans and gets into y/n’s lap. He chuckles, now making this three girls wanting snuggles. Cyborg and Robin both see the happy looks on each girl’s face. Beast Boy pouts.
Beast Boy: No Fair! How come y/n gets the ladies?
Y/n: cause I got that charm.
Cyborg snickers to y/n’s response as y/n looks at the readers winks.
