Chapter 1: STRANGE DREAMS BEGIN..💫

suzy hated nights like this.

The kind where sleep refused to come, and her thoughts refused to stay quiet.

her room was dim,lit only by the faint glow of the streetlight slipping through the curtains. shadows stretched across the walls , shifting every time the wind brushed past the window.

Everything felt ....too still.

Too quiet.

She lay on her back , staring at the ceiling , her fingers tracing invisible patterns on her stomach. her phone buzzed once beside her- another pointless notification she didn't bother checking.

2:17 AM.

of course.

Her mind wandered , as it always didat this hour.

overthinking . overfeeling . overimagining.

it was exhausting.

with a quit sigh, she turned to her side and shut her eyes , forcing herself to drift.

"Just sleep", she whispered to herself.

And for a moment-

it worked.

Until it didn't.

The world vanished.

No transition.No warning.

One second she was in her bed-

the next, she was standing in the rain.

Cold.

Soaking.

Real.

Suzy inhaled sharply , her breath catching as icy drops hit her skin . Her hair clung to her face , her clothes heavy against her body as the rain poured endlessly around her.

Her pulse quickened.

"This isn't real..."she murmured , but her voice lacked confidence.

Because it felt real.

Too real.

The empty road stretched endlessly before her, lit only by flickering streetlights that buzzed faintly overhead .The air smelled like wet asphalt and something else...something metallic.

Unease curled in her stomach.

Then-

"suzy..."

Her entire body stilled.

The voice was'nt loud.

But it didn't need to be.

It wrapped around her , familiar in a way that made her chest tighten.

Slowly ,she turned.

And there he was.

A boy stood a few steps away .

Tall. still .watching her.

His face was unclear, hidden behind something like a blur or a shadow - but everything else about him felt sharp . defined . real.

Important.

Suzy swallowed, her throat suddenly dry despite the rain.

"Who are you ?" she asked , her voice softer than she intended.

No answer.

He just looked at her.

Like he has been waiting.

Like he already knew her.

Then he stopped closer.

Her heartbeat spiked.

Not from fear.

But from something she didn't understand.

"stop", she said instinctively , her hand lifting slightly between them.

But even as she said it.... she didn't want him to stop.

That was the confusing part.

He paused anyway .

The rain continued to fall between them, heavy and relentless , filling the silence.

"Suzy.." he said again.

This time her name sounded different .

Not like a call.

More like a memory.

Her breath hitched.

"Have we met ?" she wispered.

Another step.

Closer now.

Too close.

Her heart slammed against her chest as he tilted his head slightly and for the first time....

She saw his eyes.

Dark.

intense.

And filled with something dangerously close to emotion.

Her pulse faltered.

There was something in his gaze that made her feel exposed… seen in a way no one had ever seen her before.

Like he understood her.

Like he knew her.

And for a second—

Everything else faded.

The rain.

The road.

The world.

It was just him.

Just his eyes.

Just the space between them.

And then—

Everything shattered.

A sharp screech echoed through the air.

Bright headlights cut through the darkness, rushing toward them at terrifying speed.

Suzy’s breath caught.

“No—” she gasped, her body freezing as panic surged through her.

The boy turned.

And in that moment—

She felt it.

A horrible, sinking feeling in her chest.

Like something was about to go terribly wrong.

“Move!” she screamed, her voice breaking.

But he didn’t.

Or maybe he couldn’t.

Time slowed.

Her mind raced.

Her heart pounded.

And yet—

Her body refused to move.

She reached for him—

But before her fingers could touch—

Darkness swallowed everything.

Suzy woke up with a gasp.

Her body jerked upright, her breath uneven, her chest heaving as if she had been pulled out of something too deep, too real.

Her room.

She was back.

But it didn’t feel the same.

Her skin felt cold.

Her heart still raced.

Her fingers trembled as she pressed her hand against her chest, trying to steady herself.

“What the hell was that…” she whispered.

It didn’t feel like a dream.

Dreams didn’t leave your body shaking like this.

Dreams didn’t make your chest ache.

Dreams didn’t feel like memories.

She swallowed hard, glancing at the clock.

2:23 AM.

Only minutes had passed.

But it felt like she had lived something much longer.

Her gaze slowly dropped to her hands.

And her breath caught.

They were damp.

Not dripping.

But enough to make her stomach twist.

“No…” she murmured.

Her mind raced, trying to find a logical explanation.

There wasn’t one.

And deep down—

She knew it.

Her thoughts drifted back to him.

The boy.

His voice.

His eyes.

The way he looked at her…

Like she mattered.

Like she was already a part of his story.

And the most unsettling part?

She couldn’t stop thinking about him.

Didn’t want to.

Suzy leaned back against the wall, pulling her knees closer, her mind refusing to quiet down.

Because something told her—

This wasn’t just a dream.

It was a warning.

And somehow…

It involved him.
