A Compelling Meta-Fiction Mystery

"The dark fantasy elements in these five chapters create a solid premise, with the clever twist in Chapter 5 serving as the story’s strongest asset by transforming a standard ghost encounter into a psychological battle between the author and her own creation. While Nesryn's trauma and her protective bond with Devin provide a good emotional core, the manuscript needs a tight stylistic polish to achieve a professional standard. Specifically, the author must eliminate the constant shifting between past and present tenses, rely less on explicitly explaining psychological diagnoses, and smooth out logical timeline gaps, such as Devin's rapid recovery and the sudden return to college routines. Grounding the character's physical reactions and trimming the modern internet slang will elevate this interesting concept into a much cleaner, more cohesive read."

So far so good.

"I enjoyed reading your early chapters, and I like what your story is heading but it did seem a bit rushed not giving much of a back story and hopefully in chapters to come it will develop well."
