THE SCRIPT

SCENE 1: THE SPARK SHOP

INT. REPAIR SHOP - DAY

Steam hisses from a cracked pipe. LYRA (20s) is buried waist-deep in a massive, humming generator. It groans—a metal beast about to explode.

CASPIAN (20s) enters, moving like a shadow. He watches as Lyra reaches out and grabs two thick, frayed power cables. Blue arcs of electricity scream across her skin. Her eyes glow a faint, terrifying white.

The generator purrs into submission. Lyra pulls her hands away, unfazed.

CASPIAN- I’ve seen men turned to ash for touching ten percent of that voltage.

LYRA (Wiping grease on her pants)

Then they didn't know how to ground themselves. You’re the thief I hired? You look more like a nobleman who lost his way.

CASPIAN:- The name is Caspian. And I’m only here because you claimed to have an Azure Stone. Show me, or I’m gone.

Lyra pulls a glowing, pulsing blue stone from her pocket. It’s mesmerizing.

LYRA:- I need to get to the Thieves' Town. To the Great Tower. My father, Silas, went there to fix it and never came home. Take me there, and the stone is yours.

SCENE 2: THE HEIRLOOM

INT. CASPIAN’S HIDE OUT - NIGHT

Caspian kneels before a heavy iron trunk. He lifts a velvet-wrapped bundle. As he unfolds it, a Black Silk Wedding Dress spills out. It is midnight-dark, embroidered with silver threads that look like frozen lightning.

CASPIAN (To himself)

Isolde wanted the finest silk in the world. She’ll finally have it.

He carefully packs the dress into his rucksack, hiding it beneath his tools.

SCENE 3: THE SEWER ESCAPE

INT. SEWERS - NIGHT

Caspian and Lyra wade through knee-deep water. The air is foul.

LYRA :-Is this really the only way?

CASPIAN (Picking a heavy lock)

The High Guard watches the roads. Unless you want to explain why a mechanic glows in the dark, we stay in the filth.

SCENE 4: THE WASTELAND BORDER

EXT. THE WASTELANDS - NIGHT

They emerge into a desert of rusted metal—a graveyard of old machines. A mechanical HOWL echoes in the distance.

LYRA :-What was that?

CASPIAN (Drawing a dagger)

Vane’s Hounds. They track heat and heartbeat. Stay close.

SCENE 5: THE HOUND ATTACK

EXT. WASTELANDS - CONTINUOUS

Four mechanical beasts with red-laser eyes leap from the scrap heaps. Caspian moves with fluid grace, parrying their metal claws with his daggers.

CASPIAN :-There’s too many! I can’t get a clean strike!

LYRA :-Get down!

Lyra slams her palms onto a rusted metal plate on the ground. She releases a massive surge of stored energy. A ripple of blue light explodes outward. The Hounds’ heads spark and spin as their circuits fry instantly.

SCENE 6: THE RECOVERY

EXT. WASTELANDS - MOMENTS LATER

Lyra staggers, her nose bleeding. Caspian catches her by the shoulders.

CASPIAN :-You’re a living weapon. Why didn't you tell me?

LYRA:- It’s not a weapon, Caspian. It’s a curse. My father had it too. That’s why Vane wanted him.

SCENE 7: THE CAMPFIRE

EXT. CAVE - NIGHT

They sit by a small fire. Caspian is polishing his dagger.

LYRA :-Why a thief? You’re clearly educated.

CASPIAN:- My family lost everything in the Great Blackout. I started stealing to survive. Then I met Isolde. She’s... high-born. She expects a certain life. I thought if I could give it to her, I’d be someone again.

LYRA :-You’re already someone, Caspian. You just don't see him yet.

SCENE 8: THE BLACK DRESS REVEAL

EXT. CAVE - CONTINUOUS

Caspian’s pack tips over. The black silk spills out, catching the firelight. Lyra touches the fabric gently.

LYRA:- It’s beautiful. Like the sky before a storm. Your fiancé... she must be very special.

CASPIAN (A hint of doubt)

She’s the reason I’m still breathing. Or so I tell myself.

SCENE 9: THE INFORMANTS

INT. CRUMBLING OUTPOST - DAY

They meet JAX (30s), a man with a mechanical eye.

JAX:- Caspian! You’re walking into a trap. Vane knows Silas has a daughter. He’s been waiting for a "Conduit" to replace the old man.

LYRA :-My father is the Conduit? He’s still alive?

JAX :-He’s part of the machine now, girl. And he’s failing.

SCENE 10: THE GATES OF THIEVES' TOWN

EXT. THIEVES' TOWN - DAY

Massive iron gates grind open. The city is a nightmare of soot and neon. As they enter, the gates slam shut behind them.

SCENE 11: THE AMBUSH

EXT. TOWN SQUARE - CONTINUOUS

They are surrounded by fifty armed Enforcers. ISOLDE (20s) steps out from a balcony, looking down with a cold smile.

CASPIAN:- Isolde? What are you doing here?

ISOLDE:- Vane offered me a seat on the High Council, Caspian. Why marry a thief who lives in the mud when I can rule a city of gold?

SCENE 12: THE BETRAYAL

EXT. TOWN SQUARE - CONTINUOUS

Isolde gestures to the Enforcers.

ISOLDE:- I told them everything, darling. The route, your skills... and the girl. Give them what they want.

SCENE 13: THE IRON PRISON

INT. TOWER DUNGEON - NIGHT

Caspian and Lyra are chained to a wall that hums with electricity.

LYRA:- Caspian, I’m sorry. The stone... it was just a piece of glass I charged with my power. I lied to you.

CASPIAN (Looking at the floor)

I knew. A thief knows the difference between a gem and a spark. I just... I wanted a reason to keep walking.

SCENE 14: THE BREAKOUT

INT. TOWER DUNGEON - CONTINUOUS

LYRA:- If I take in the current from these walls, I can blow the locks. But I need you to catch me.

She grabs the electrified chains. Her body jerks violently. The lights in the tower flicker. The locks SHATTER. Lyra falls; Caspian catches her, his own arms stinging from the residual shock.

SCENE 15: THE VENTILATION SHAFTS

INT. TOWER SHAFTS - NIGHT

They crawl through the narrow, hot ducts.

CASPIAN (Whispering)

Once we get to the core, we find your father and we run. No more stones. No more dresses.

SCENE 16: SILAS’S WORKSHOP

INT. HIDDEN ROOM - NIGHT

They drop into a room filled with Silas’s blueprints. Lyra finds a message etched into a desk: "The Tower is a cage. Don't let them find the spark."

SCENE 17: THE CORE REVEALED

INT. MAIN REACTOR - NIGHT

They look down into a massive pit. At the center, an old man is hooked to hundreds of wires. It’s SILAS. He’s barely conscious.

LYRA:- Father!

SCENE 18: THE ENFORCER’S ENTRANCE

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

VANE (50s) steps out, his metal arm whirring.

VANE :-He’s dying, Lyra. His body can’t hold the charge anymore. But yours... yours is fresh.

SCENE 19: THE FIGHT ON THE CATWALK

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

Caspian draws his daggers and engages Vane. It’s a brutal, high-speed fight. Vane’s metal arm smashes through the metal railing. Caspian is nearly thrown into the abyss.

SCENE 20: THE CONDUIT CHAIR

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

Enforcers grab Lyra and force her into a mechanical chair. The wires begin to snake toward her.

SCENE 21: THE OVERLOAD

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

LYRA :-Caspian! Break the cooling pipes!

Caspian throws his dagger with perfect aim, severing a pipe. Steam fills the room. Lyra grabs the chair’s arms and reverses the flow.

SCENE 22: THE COLLAPSE

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

The Tower begins to shake. Lyra isn't being drained—she’s PUMPING energy back into the system. Vane’s cybernetics start to explode.

SCENE 23: ISOLDE’S FEAR

INT. COUNCIL CHAMBER - CONTINUOUS

The floor buckles. Isolde screams as her expensive jewelry begins to glow hot from the electrical surge. She realizes she’s lost everything.

SCENE 24: THE EMP BLAST

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

A massive wave of blue light erupts from Lyra. It knocks everyone back. Silence falls. The Tower is dark.

SCENE 25: THE RESCUE

INT. MAIN REACTOR - CONTINUOUS

Caspian drags Lyra and Silas out of the rubble just as the core enters lockdown.

SCENE 26: THE AFTERMATH

EXT. TOWER BALCONY - DAWN

The city is quiet. Silas is breathing, resting against a wall. Isolde wanders out, her dress torn, her face soot-stained.

ISOLDE:- Caspian? Where’s my dress? Where’s my life?

CASPIAN (Coldly)

You traded your life for a throne of rust, Isolde. We’re done.

SCENE 27: THE GIFT

EXT. TOWER BALCONY - CONTINUOUS

Caspian reaches into his pack and pulls out the Black Silk Wedding Dress. He turns to Lyra.

CASPIAN :-My mother said this was for a woman who could stand in the dark and still find the light. I was looking at the wrong woman the whole time.

SCENE 28: THE TRANSFORMATION

INT. SANCTUARY GARDEN - DAY (ONE MONTH LATER)

A lush, hidden valley. LYRA steps out of a small cabin. She is wearing the Black Silk Wedding Dress. The silver threads glow softly, reacting to her natural energy. She looks like a goddess of the storm.

SCENE 29: THE VOWS

EXT. SANCTUARY GARDEN - CONTINUOUS

Caspian stands by a waterfall. Silas stands behind him, smiling.

CASPIAN :-I’m a thief, Lyra. I don't have much to give.

LYRA (Taking his hands)

You gave me my father. You gave me my life. That’s enough.

They kiss. A small, brilliant blue spark jumps between them.

SCENE 30: THE FINAL JOURNEY

EXT. MOUNTAIN PATH - SUNSET

Caspian and Lyra look out over the horizon.

CASPIAN:- So, where to next?

LYRA :-I hear there’s a city in the West that needs a good mechanic.

CASPIAN:- And a good thief to keep things interesting?

They walk into the sunset, hand in hand.

FADE OUT.
