Summary

When her two best friends show up and act like everything’s normal, Nikki’s world tips further and further on its axis by the minute. And they aren’t the only surprise guests that are making appearances at the most inopportune times. Her past starts to creep up and bombard her present, along with her inner bitch that is disregarding the “inner” part of her title, and she’s starting to feel things she never has before. Especially pertaining to one large, violet eyed douchebag who always smells divine, and it’s getting on her last nerve. And apparently, she has these powers or magick now, that she never asked for and is placing her in the middle of a decades-long war that she’s supposed to help bring it to an end. Except she can barely seem to stay alive for more than a few weeks at a time. Emergence is the second part in a 3-part mature, supernatural romantasy. It is a slow burn, plot-heavy novel with themes of enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and a strong female main character with a harrowing back story.
