What is your opinion?

Great speculative world, little rocky

"For a short piece we are introduced to a near-future world that feels like a realistic evolution of the military-complex of today. Using regenerative techniques to create indestructible soldiers is kind of cool, but disturbing. Like I could see the ad-campaigns that were described happening in real life. Which is a marker of good speculative sci-fi. The main character was a good narrator, I liked how she made a choice to try to alter the path that was happening at her own cost and was happy for it. The only problem on the whole I felt was that it was written rather tersely. There wasn't much flexibility in the prose, but it was consistent. I didn't see any errors, but there were lines with awkward phrasing. This style, however, made it very clear what was going on, so there is a trade/off between style and substance. Conclusion: Pretty good, interested in reading more from the same-style of future-world."
