Mission: Not Love

"Go!"

My collague shouted out. I ran behind the car, hid behind the doors, middle of a mission. Normal day s a cop, I can even call it boring. Taking the day off after lunch today. Boss said he have something to talk with me -probably a new mission he will sign me in- after the little gun fight with some gangster in this street, now Im heading to station.

Knock, knock! Stepping in. "Hope Im not late boss?" Shook his head, gestured me to sit.

"That day has come, Craig." I nodded, it meant a lot.

-15 Years Ago-

"Dad Im talking to you!" He was preparing his green bag, which means he'll be gone for a long time mission... "Son just be a man huh? I'll be back in a month!" I sighed, I wasnt trying to be annoying, I was just tired of being alone, neglected. He was a cool dad, police officer yeah. But its not always like that. Not for his kid. "You promised me you'd watch my game this weekend!"

He sighed, turns to me "I am sorry man, okay? You're not a kid anymore. I'll hear it from your coach after, hm?" Looking a him, seeing that tired, sorry face of my dad, I can only nod. "Sure. Be safe there." He pats my shoulder, smiles, "You too son."

Weekend now. My team won the game. We won it! Im seeing my dad's collagues, I smile then I frown. Why are they here without my dad?..

-Today-

The biggest, widest gangster, mafia, whatever you say, my fathrer was an undercover in them, The Han Family. The story ends unhappy. They notice my dad after a year. And taking his life. Because my dad betrayed them. Betraying, haha. Too childish for a mafia who sells meds, gun, takes lifes...

But now the destiny works with me. Im taking my revenge. With legal ways.

After I got the official files, permisson from station, gun acceptions and stuff, I meet my bestfriend, noona- I dont like calling her that, makes me feel like I am 17 or something- she brought our coffees, "Thanks Noona!" She raised an eyebrow "What's wrong Woo Jin?" When I call her that, she calls me WooJin -my korean name, which I dont use- "We're alone in here, no one can think I am younger." She laughs. I hand her the files "Got my prize from the boss after succesing with the criminals."

She was surprised, smiles and hugs me in my car "I am so glad, Craig! When do I start?" Shaking my head with a grin, "I changed that undercover role. Its now me. Who sneaks in The Han Family." She frowns "It was me from the start!" I smile "I want to be brave, just like him."

After some days now. My mission officialy started, the plan to sneak in is easy. Some guy we settled will beat me some, in the most famous streets of Han's then some of their men will save and heal me. Yes I am so sure because its one of their rules...

The plan went amazing till that unnoticed detail ruined it.

What if their boss saves me?
