My name is Lt. Captain Christos Autos and I was a 28 year old Greek soldier station near Athens, Greece. Standing at 5'7, short blond hair and light blue colour eyes. Who was proudly serving within the 6th Infantry Unit. Who was currently following my unit towards one of the nearby large barracks. Where we sat down with no idea what was going on. While sitting next to 31 year old Field Medic Leo, standing at 5'7, light brown colour eyes and thick light brown colour hair. Sitting on my left side and 29 year old Theodore standing at 5'8, bald head and dark green colour eyes. Along with four other units. Only that it was some kind of emergency briefing. Which we knew wasn't good. As we've taken all our seats with me sitting within the third row of chairs. As we soon began listening to 42 year old Major-General Ajax, standing at 5'8, black and grey colour hair and dark brown colour eyes began speaking to us.
Troops, I've called this emergency briefing for good reasons. For it was exactly 0900 hours ago, within the north-western coast of Africa. That one of their battleships was attacked by what they could only describe as....a giant wing lizard. Which was brought down by the battleships cannons and crashed dead on their vessel. Which was confirmed to be real an not some sort of machinery or weapon within disguise.
Quickly alarmed by this surprising news and also confused here. I watch as our units leader 35 year old SGT-Commander Ares, standing at 5'9, bald and dark green colour eyes. Raise his left hand while sitting near the left end with the general noticing this and then asked. Yes soldier. Who then listen to him curiously ask in confusion. Sir, what do you mean by giant winged lizard? That's when the general told us something nobody expected at all. The creature which was killed was.....a real life....dragon. An no soldiers, this isn't a prank. Which shocked all of us here. As another soldier within the row before us quickly asked in confusion. How could this be possible sir?
When there's never been such a reptile or creature ever reported? With the general doing his best to answer this important question. We're honestly not sure. An as to how we've gained this information. It was shared with us by Nato. Who also received another shocking report exactly 0200 hours earlier. That what only be described as....a gigantic octopus. Attacking the southern coast of Norway.
Which was shot down from the sky and confirmed to be exactly what was told to us. Which shocked everyone even more as I now asked my own personal confusing question. Sir, are you telling us. That someone saw....a dragon? With him responding back with a very serious expression. By giving me a very simple answer. Yes. With none of really sure what to say here. For our very own general was telling us that two completely different creatures from literal fantasy were reported being scene within real life and attacking two completely different places.
Which was still really hard to believe as well. With made one of the Major-SGT ask the big question. Sir, does Nato or any one of the two attacked places know where these....creatures have came from? With him responding back. Not yet. For we're still waiting for information but also been advised to watch out for any unusual activity. So until we're able to figure out what exactly is going on and where these things came here. Be ready to deploy at literal any time soldiers. But are also not allowed to tell anyone outside of this base about what has been said here. Now dismiss. Who all then left the barracks here while completely baffled by everything that's been told to us.
Who didn't know what to say for quite some time until about an hour later. That I later sat down with our units shocked and confused leader. Sir....do you believe what the general said back there? About those....creature attacks? With him slowly looking at me and then speaking. Honestly Christos. I don't know what to really say. But if there's a possibility that he's speaking the truth. About what happened in Africa and Norway. Then I hate to say it. But we'll be facing a foe in which we've never encountered before. None of us wanted to admit this. But if what the general said is really true.
Then we'll have us a real big problem. With over an hour going by before we started hearing the bases alarm system going off. Which was a big surprise for us as we quickly stopped our rifle training and quickly rushed towards the command base where we started getting orders to deploy to nearby Athens. Where there were multiple reports of strange attacks across the city. With us quickly taking our army trucks and jeeps. Along with all our gear in less than 30 minutes before hurrying down there straight away.
With no idea of what we'll encounter. But we were about to find out. As we got down there to the city where we could see this strange fog floating around. With us arriving at the scene where there were some dead bodies laid around the road plus sidewalk. With many glass windows of stores broken, with what looked like arrows sticking out of the back of a nearby dead woman in her 40's. With a pool of blood formed around her corpse. With us quickly getting out of the army trucks back before cautiously looking around the area here. For whatever reason this area was attacked. As we couldn’t see anything moving around and hiding close by either. Which made me wonder where the enemy is hiding?
Who kept looking around for a couple of minutes as I’ve spotted something moving at this 2nd floor window. Which was 6'5 tall, had what looked like antlers, wearing what looked like an animal skull for a mask and couldn’t see its eyes. While also aiming this bow and arrow at us. Which cause me to quickly speak loudly. Enemy above. Before firing my rifle at the enemy target, taking it down. As my units leader asked me while looking around the surrounding windows. What did you hit? I replied back. I’m not sure. But whatever it was, it was tall as a man and had antlers.
