Chapter 1: The Fall
Nathan Fuerstein was sitting on a cloud in heaven watching his family. He was happy that they were happy. He knew his wife was sad that he had died. He always send her small things to show he cared whenever she was feeling down. Nathan feels someone tap his shoulder. As he looks up he sees
Gabriel the Archangel standing over him. “What is it Gabriel?“ I ask. Gabriel sighs something I immediately knew something was wrong. Gabriel says something that shatters my whole world. “Somebody told us that you were talking to Lucifer about getting him out of hell.“ I feel my eyes immediately widen. “Why would I ever try to help HIM?“
“I know you would never try to help Morning Star.“ Gabriel says “I’m sorry this pains me as much as it pains you.“ Gabriel looks at me with sadness in his eyes. “We have to send you back to Earth and strip you of your wings.“
I move backwards unable to believe what I had been told by Gabriel. Gabriel and I start walking towards a beautiful building. I stop, “What is it?“ Gabriel asks. “Please tell me how I’ll be able to get my wings back.“
Gabriel nods softly “You need to find someone who truly cares for you.“ I nod staring off into space. “Can I at least see my mom one last time?“ I ask. Gabriel nods. I run to my mother finding her quickly watching over my little sister.
My mother looks up at me. All I could do is throw myself into my mom’s arms and cry. My mom doesn’t say anything just rubs my back and stroke my hair. I find myself relaxing to her touch slowly but surely.
My mother gently asks “What’s happening Nathan?“ I bury my face into her shoulder breathing in her scent. “I’m getting my wings taken and being sent to Earth.“ “Somebody framed me so now I have to pay for what they did.“
My mother gently touches my cheek lifting my head and wiping my tears. “Don’t worry sweetheart, I’ll still be here when you come back.“ As I start walking back to the building that Gabriel had taken me to I see my ex Alison Sirivanchai. She smirks and waves to me
“That Bitch!“ I think “She set me up and now I’m paying for it.“ As I go inside I notice how the outside of the building was beautiful but the inside was horrible! I think about Alison who was also like this. Fuck her, I don’t need that cheater!
I look at Gabriel who was getting set up. “Can you do one last thing for me Gabriel?“ Gabriel nods standing up. “What is it my young one?“ I sighs before softly asking “Can you watch over my family make sure that nothing bad happens to them.“ Gabriel smiles and nods “Of course I can help them are you ready to go now?“
I nod and as soon as I sit on the chair I feel excruciating pain. It’s so unbearable, Gabriel tries his best to take some of the pain but it still hurts despite Gabriel’s efforts. The pain stops as I pass out when I wake up I was in bed.
“Where am I “ I think to myself. I get up and go to a mirror in the room and as I look at where my wings were supposed to be they weren’t there just two scars where they were supposed to be.
I collapse in my bed sobbing as I realize that Gabriel waasn’t joking. I need to be strong. I need to get back up to where I belong. Not down here on Earth!
