The Beginning
POV. Honey
Tomorrow was going to be a "big day". It's almost time for me to get dressed and head to campus for our sports day.
However, mom Emily and sister Elisa told me not to go because sports day isn't that essential.
But nonetheless, "I don't want to give up on something for which I have been sacrificing nearly a month."I said to myself before going to bed...
The next morning... After taking off my blanket, brushing my teeth, and taking a bath, I put on my favourite pair of Jeans and T-shirt and shut my bedroom door,
My mom stopped me at my midway and said, " I told you to not to go'...
Maa "I have to go for what I have done", so please leave me.... Saying that, I started walking till I arrived at my car.
I just got in the car and memories flashes........ (Note: This story continues in memory for a long time. U may even forget you are in memory)
When I think about it, a flashback of my first day of college appears in my head.
As I arrived at university, I noticed some seniors making fun of the freshers in the gate.
I noticed a man in that group, and his attractive appearance immediately made me smile.
I decided to approach him and volunteered to introduce myself.
Hello, it's lovely to meet you. This is Honey from the Fresher Batch.
He smiled and held out his hands to shake hands, saying, "It's great to meet you too. This is Udhay, Ur Senior."
All of the people in the hallway were silent for a moment while as soon as we locked hands.
Then a professor approached the freshers and requested them to gather in the conference room...
My gaze met Udhay's, and he directed me to the conference hall....
Udhay took his leave after I arrived at the conference room. I nodded while maintaining eye contact with him...
After a short while, the professor arrived and began by welcoming everyone and introducing the staff members.....
Then he called some of our seniors to introduce...
I noticed Udhay reentering the conference room as some of them were entering with him, and we made eye contact....
As the lecturer began to introduce the seniors one by one, a voice from behind said, "Excuse me, sir. May I enter?"
Abruptly, I looked over at the location where the noise originated.
I noticed a tall, charming, well-groomed man with brown eyes who was waiting outside for the professor's permission to enter.
Professor granted permission to that guy to enter,
And then he entered and simply stood to the side of where Udhay was standing.
For a moment, as I met his gaze, I forgot where I was....
The lecturer began introducing each student individually, saying, "This is Franklin, Stephen, Robert, Jana, Vicky, and Udhay in a row."
The late comer then rolled his eyes, apologized for disturbing, introduced himself, this is Choco Fresher, and looked around for a place to sit....
As I noticed an empty bench next to me, I waved for him to have a seat.
Then the professor continued, "If new students have any issues at this college or would like to report someone for ragging, please come and tell any one of them. They will assist you throughout." With that, he left the room.
Immediately I grinned at Udhay right away and thought that only some of the people in this group would be worthy of a complaint for ragging....
Udhay whispered, "Shhhh," putting his fingers to his lips. I assumed he knew what I was thinking....
"We all r here to help u," Udhay said as he began speaking and looked directly into my eyes. He said, "If you need anything, come to us directly," and they all left.....
A sudden silence falls after they left, and as I stood up to walk out of the hallway, I remembered that Choco was sitting right next to me....
I looked at him, wondering why he was staring at me, and he told me that I had never been in this embarrassing scenario before. Anyways "Thanks for the seat," he said, his smiles brightened....
When you came in, I assumed you were the senior as well, but I had no idea you were my classmate, I told him....
Then we both chuckles....
Then he got up and asked, "Should we head to the classroom right now?"
I nodded....
