Chapter 1
Nathan was sitting in his house alone. He had just gotten into a fight with his wife and she left taking the kids. Nathan hears yelling and goes outside to see a father kicking his 14 year old daughter out the car.
Nathan's eyes widen and he quickly rushes forward catching her. The girl starts crying softly, hugging Nathan clinging to his chest. Nathan gently rests his chin on top of her head, silently comforting her.
She clings to his jacket her hands grasping at the fabric. "Hey, it's ok, kid." Nathan says softly. She tightens her grip on his jacket repeatedly whispering "don't leave me.".
Nathan gently picks her causing her to cling on tighter to his chest. She buries her face, into his neck crying harder. Nathan, couldn't help but feel his heart break for the kid.
Nathan, silently carries her inside listening to her soft whimpering, and crying.
Nathan's P.O.V
This poor kid, she just got kicked out in the middle of the street. Why would anyone do that to a Kid!?
