Chapter 1

Sitting with shock expressions on all of our faces, I listen to my friend Howard speak. Oh....dear god. What have we've done? With surely a lot of you asking yourselves. What exactly happened? That was horrible enough to make us shock? Well....to answer your question. We'll have to go back to three days ago. An if case you're wondering who's speaking here. My name is Dr. Sheldon Cooper. A brilliant 32 year old man, standing at 5'9, dark brown hair, light green colour eyes and simply wearing a Star Trek shirt plus light blue jeans. Who works within a University. Who was just sitting within my apartment with my dearest friends/co-workers. Leonard, Howard and Raj. Who had just finished watching an old episode of Star Trek. With all of us smiling as I began speaking with joy to my friends here. I must admit. That was a very satisfying episode we just watched here.
With my dear friend/once roommate 30 year old Leonard standing at 5'8, wearing glasses, thick curly black hair, dark blue colour eyes and sitting close by on the couch replying back. I must also agree. That shows with sci-fi is so....good. With the spaceships, the aliens and other sci-fi things. A yet, in my own words here. I think Fantasy is....better. Quickly curious here I replied with a simple question. How so? He told me. Well....with Fantasy. You've got magic, magical creatures, amazing species and other things. Who feels like it could maybe....beat....sci-fi. Hearing these exact words was a big surprise for me as 30 year old India friend/co-worker Raj, standing at 5'7, thick black hair and brown colour eyes sitting on my right side curiously respond back. What makes you think that Leonard? With him answering our friend's question. Well....for one thing. We've got things such as dragons. Which can fly, but also breathe fire.
But also knock things out of the sky, such as I don't know. A.....spaceship. With 33 year old Howard, standing at 5'6, thick black hair, and light green colour eyes began speaking. I must agree with Leonard. That Fantasy is kind of better. For we've also got trolls, heroic knights, Elves and Wizards. Which made me now speak. Now I'm sure a dragon is great. But a dragon can'r bring down a spaceship such as the U.S.S. Enterprise. Which made Leonard counter by saying. Not unless a wizard is riding it's back and using a powerful magic staff. To knock out its energy barrier before using a magic lightning bolt to knock it out of the sky. That's when I started to become a little less happy and more....confused. Since we're both fans of Star Trek. But also knew he was a big fan of Fantasy too. While also challenging sci-fi as well. With me now speaking.
Not unless the U.S.S. Enterprise gained help from a friendly Vulcan spaceship which shooks the dragon and wizard both out of the sky. With Leonard replying back. Well I'm sure the wizard used a bright flash of light to signal his allies on the ground. Who began firing their trebuchets at both spaceships with flaming rocks. But also giant crossbow bolts to make sure that they don't miss. Which suddenly started to slowly turn this from fun to a surprising stand off between whom is better. Sci-fi or Fantasy? As I began speaking. Fantasy might be fine. But we've got some pretty amazing films. Such as Avatar and Planet of the Apes, With Leonard responding back. Well we got Lord of the Rings and Conan the Barbarian. Which eventually made Howard speak before things get ugly. Look guys....we can argue about this for hours and also don't want to wreck our fun day here either. Especially while the university is being fumigated for cockroaches. So....why don't we make this a friendly challenge? Curious I asked. How so? That's when Howard explained to all of us here.
We all know that we own our own copies of the famous video game Battle Map. An that they've also released the new special weapons on the game. So....why don't we use the game to settle this disagreement? The idea of this sounded pretty interesting. Since they had a special spook section involving both Aliens and also Fantasy Monsters too. Who began giving this some careful thought here before speaking. I must admit Howard, that your idea here is sounding really good. But also might help solve our issue here too. Which made Leonard now speak while sounding interested in Howard's idea. I'll admit, that the idea is really good. For we could play as separate teams against each other. For me and Howard could play as one team. While you and Raj as the other.
Who now listen to Raj speak. I'm into the idea, but also strongly believe. That Sheldon and I will win this. Who then heard Leonard reply back with confidence. Not if we win first and to make this more interesting. Whoever teams wins this friendly contest. Gets the other team to agree that sci-fi or fantasy is better. With me now speaking with a smile forming on my face. Alright....but if we're going to do this. Then we should lay down some ground rules. Just to make sure that for whatever reason. Someone tries to cheat or accidentally say something. Which might give one side or the other the advantage. Let's agree that when we're all together. Nobody talks about what their teams are planning or anything like that. But also avoid fighting right away. Which made Leonard curiously ask. Why's that? I told him. If we're going to do this right. Then perhaps we should grow our armies big enough. For a really epic fight.
Which the group seems to agree with. As Raj now spoke. Maybe to make it more interesting, our two teams. Should target those of different factions. For example. Sheldon and I could go after those who use Fantasy Armies. While Leonard and Howard take on those of Sci-Fi Armies. The thought of this sounded real interesting. With us making a few other rules for ourselves before Leonard and Howard left my apartment here. Allowing Raj and I to speak within private. As I faced Raj and began speaking. While I do admit that this friendly game will help resolve this issue. We must also figure out who we're playing as. But must also figure out our first target.
Facing me Raj replied. Yes and think we should get started right away. Agreeing with him we switched on my game console and began browsing through the options. With me finding one which looked interesting. That was an army of Mechanical Dolls. That looked really interesting. Since the details say that they were like robots in a sense. With me growing curious enough to take an interest and spoke. I'll pick the Mechanical Dolls for my army. A how about yourself Raj? This was a good question as Raj picked up the spare controller and began browsing as well. Until he chose the aliens known as the Luku. Which I was glad to see as with me now speaking. So what shall we call ourselves? Raj began thinking here until speaking. How about the Wood Hand? With me giving him this concern look and spoke. I think we can do better than that.
For how about....Space Gears? With Raj giving this some thought and spoke. I like it. Who was glad as we did two player before looking at our armies. With my Mechanical Dolls that stood at 5'8, had bodies made of wood, with their faces made of porcelain glass. While the Luku stood at 5'8, had these pure white colour bodies with large purple spots on their arms and faces, bald heads, with three eyes, no mouths, while also dress in these light red colour robs. Which were really cool to see here as we've began thinking of where to strike. Until I've noticed this large Goblin Army, standing at 5'6, dark green colour skin and dress within chainmail armour approaching from the west. Within the direction of this open grass field who had catapults. Which was good, since it was part of the rules we've made. As I began speaking to Raj. I'll take the front end of the army while you try and flank them.
Raj agreed with me as we both began attacking this one foe together. Who rather than runaway began attacking us by having their catapults begin firing and crushing some of my Mechanical Dolls. Yet I kept boldly moving forward and attacking while also having archers split into two separate directions. Before having them start firing their arrows and striking some of the enemy front row troops down. Making it a little easier for my troops here. As they began cutting down the rodents before me. With their large sharp wrist blades. While also using their war hammers to strike many of them down. An was still pushing forward as Raj managed to reach the back end and takeout the enemy catapults.
