The full Twin Seas map...
Twin Seas: Twin Seas earns its name from the two massive freshwater seas. The Bay of Embers and the Vide Sea. Here, no one gets along with anyone; there are disagreements, but then there are all-out wars. This results in wars like the one between the Empire of Eauxbord and the Walsh Islands being one of the bloodiest wars in the history of Pyrix. Then there's Pyrix, a world slightly smaller than that of Uranus. Twin Seas is one of many continents plagued by struggles.
Empires

Hinokagema Empire: The biggest and most powerful empire in Twin Seas, Hinokagema boasts a population of 18.6 million and an area of 3.37 million square kilometres (2.1 million square miles). Their capital is Shirohana and is one of the most populated in all of Pyrix, with just shy of 100k people. Hinokagema is ruled by the infamous warlord, Shogun Hayate Ranmaru. Known for his iron fist and constant observation, Shogun Hayate has placed himself in the history books with a reputation as a harsh man with a soft heart.

Kingdom of the Ashen Wolf: The Kingdom of the Ashen Wolf is home to some of Twin Seas' most powerful warlords over the years. Otherwise known as the birthplace of power, the Ashen Kingdom has cemented itself among some of Pyrix's most feared empires. It's the next in line for population, with 16.1 million people calling the 2.41 million square kilometre empire home. Its capital, Bloodbane, houses just over 10k people. This empire is ruled by the notorious King Ulric Finch, otherwise known as King Ulric the Dreaded, or King Ulric the Cruel.

Eauxbord Empire: The Eauxbord Empire is a major coastal empire in the East. They've become known for their strategy in naval battles and their camouflage in land battles. They've been at war with the Walsh Islands for the last five years. They are quite a bit smaller than Hinkogegama and Ashen at 894k kilometres squared (556k Miles) and a population of just 3.1 million. Their capital is just Eaux and is ruled by King Luarent Dupont. A retired commander for the Perle Dragon army.

Kingdom of the Perle Dragon: The Kingdom of the Perle Dragon, or just the Pearl Dragon in English, is not known for much. They are a largely neutral empire that is quite friendly to Eauxbord and Hinokagema. They aren't much smaller than Eauxbord at 852k kilometres squared (530k miles). Their capital is Feu Froid, and despite the name sounding funny to anyone else, it just means "Cold Fire" in French. This empire is ruled by a young teen king known as King Olivier Dubois, or King Olivier the Indecisive, ruling over 4.5 million people.

Walsh Islands: The Walsh Islands are the smallest empire by both size and population. With a size of 196K square kilometres (122k miles) that spans over four islands and a population of just 2.5 million, the Walsh Islands declared war on Eauxbord during the first year of King Troy Walsh on the throne. The Walsh Islands are known for crossing boundaries and starting wars over the littlest things. But when war calls, you can't walk away.
Dragons of Twin Seas (Pyrix) / (Images generated just for reference.)
Twin Seas is known for its warfare rather than its wildlife. People thought a continent where allies weren't a thing couldn't be possible. But Twin Seas has quickly disproven that. Friendly interactions exist, but when war breaks out, all others go neutral.
There are three major dragon breeds on the continent, with theories of a fourth one, but no evidence to back it up. Dragons in Twin Seas are mysterious and some of the most unpredictable, to the point that full legions are unable to put them down. Attempts to exterminate them have been made, but one is more powerful than the three smallest empires combined, and it doesn't help that the two biggest and most powerful empires show no interest in the attempt.
Irisalis - Irisalis dragons are one of three confirmed dragon species in Twin Seas. They are on every continent in Pyrix and were only confirmed in Twin Seas due to their dominant presence in every continent. They are mostly female and are the most hunted dragons in Pyrix, with dragon poachers selling their horns for hundreds or even thousands of gold. But none have been put down in Twin Seas because of their two strongest allies. Irisalis Dragons are dragons with scales as white as snow, but their horns, spine, eyes and wing membranes are all rainbow.

Evergreen - Evergreen dragons are the continent's and even one of Pyrix's most powerful and dangerous breeds. Despite their majestic appearance, Evergreen dragons are blood thirsty beasts capable of tearing a human in half with minimal effort. Their forest green scales allow camouflage in forests, rolling hills and even plains and their eyes are a very vibrant light green. They endure what the Japanese call Kudakareta Genshi, a phenomenon more mysterious than the dragons themselves. They are believed to be some kind of tell, but no one has been brave enough to explore it further.

Snowdrift - Snowdrift dragons reside in the northernmost continents of Pyrix. Continents like Twin Seas. They mostly reside in the mountains and rarely come down. Dragon Poachers spend long hours hiking just for their unique scales. But most never make it back. The scales of a Snowdrift are the only ones that sparkle, depending on how the sun hits them. When the sun rays meet their white scales, they glimmer like snow does when it's hit by the sun, and theories suggest they control Winter. Their eyes are unique in a way, as they're icy blue. Reports from those who survived an encounter with them say they glow faintly, and they noticed them even pulsating.

Marcheur de L’ombre - Marcheur de L'ombre, or L'ombre for short, is the name given to a mysterious breed by the Kingdom of the Perle Dragon. It means Shadow Walker, and in empires like that of the Perle Dragon, people can't sleep because they see a mysterious draconic figure in their nightmares. A figure with scales like night and eyes like blood that always guides them to their demise. People fear it's a threat, and many refuse to sleep to avoid being cursed. Some have even claimed to see the Shadow Walker in real life, but the idea of a dream-controlling dragon breed was laughable, and no one believes it exists. To this day, people still claim to see it.

The Visions Prophecy
Day 2 of Moon 2, 246: Three years ago, a guard spoke a mysterious rhyming poem. He fell to his knees and didn't say a word. He came back, out of breath and pale, like he saw a ghost. He warned his legion of dangers beyond human comprehension set to land on the coast of Twin Seas on Day 75 of Moon 6, 249. The poem he spoke was the vision's prophecy, the future tale of a deadly alliance between man and beast.
When our seas run red with the blood of our soldiers, we will call and call, the axes of our warriors.
Let them die; our attack is bold. Let them try, and their blood will run cold.
Just wait for the one with the gods' golden ring.
He who bears this ring can hear the mighty sing. He who bears this ring will have three to bring. He who bears this ring shall no longer need a king.
Give him time, he will be the one. He will endure shattered visions like the mighty green sun.
We can run, but we wait for him. He can take these major dangers with him and his kin.
Scales and skin, differences aside. For without them, we will all surely die.
Scales and skin, they can get us high. Stand back, and they will always try. We cannot let these shattered visions die.
The Pyrix Calendar
Pyrix goes by Lunar Cycles as it has six moons, each representing a season. Moon 1: Spring, Moon 2: Summer, Moon 3: Fall, Moon 4: Winter, Moons 5 and 6: The previous 4 moons all combined. Each moon lasts 75 days, representing a month, making one year in Pyrix 450 days. And the moment a new moon rises, Weather patterns aren’t the same until it either gets to the fifth and sixth moons or back to the same moon next year.
