Chapter 1:Umeed

Shaam dheere dheere andheray mein badal rahi thi.

Ghar ki deewarein bhi jaise us lamhe ki sakhti mehsoos kar rahi thi.

Roohaniya apne baap ke saamne khadi thi.

Uska chehra thaka hua tha… aur aankhon mein woh dard jo lafzon se bayan nahi hota.

Uski aankhein halki brown thi, jin ke neeche aansuon aur neend ki kami se halke se kaale halke pad chuke thay.

Uske baal bhi halkay brown thay, jo uske kandhon se thoda neeche, kamar ke aas paas tak girte thay.

Uska poora chehra masoomiyat aur thakan ka mix lag raha tha—jaise woh apni umar se zyada kuch jhel chuki ho.

Baap ki awaaz sakht thi:Uska jumla poora nahi hua tha ke baap ka ghussa aur barh gaya.

Uski awaaz itni tez hui ke kamra goonj utha, aur Roohaniya khamosh ho gayi.

Us waqt ghar ke andar koi beech mein nahi aaya.

Sab log door kharay thay.

Kisi ki aankhon mein us ke liye narmi nahi thi

Kuch log chup chaap dekh rahe thay, jaise unhein farq hi na ho

Aur kuch log bas nazrein chura rahe thay

Roohaniya ne sab ko dekha…

aur usay samajh aa gaya ke yahan koi uska saath nahi de raha.

Yeh ghar, jo kabhi uska apna tha… ab usay apna maan hi nahi raha tha.

Baap ne aakhir mein sirf itna kaha:

“Kal subah tayar rehna.”

Aur woh palat kar chala gaya.

Roohaniya wahi khadi reh gayi.

Uske dil mein ajeeb sa khali pan tha—na poori tarah rona, na poori tarah samajh.

Bas ek ehsaas… ke uski jagah ab yahan nahi rahi.

Aur usay pehli dafa sach samajh aaya

na poora dard, na poori umeed… sirf ek khaali pan.

Jaise ab uski zindagi ka agla safar uski marzi se nahi, kisi aur ke faislay se chalne wala

"Wah! 'Umeed' naam hi itna strong hai 🔥 Kya ye real life se inspired hai? Main bhi apni real story 'Adhori Muskurahat' likh rahi hun. Aap kya sochti hain, real stories zyada impact karti hain ya fictional?"

BlackKat07: Loved the characters and plot. Unfortunately after about chapter 10 the book really needs a good proof-read - lots of spelling and grammatical errors that spoiled it for me. Sharda: I really enjoyed the pace of this story. It was mostly realistic, but It was tough to wrap my head around that a 13-year-old boy would be so intuitive and a friend to his mom. My 13-year-old daughter is super smart and says I am her best friend so I guess it is possible. I struggled because boys usu...
