Summary

Elara escapes captivity with barely her life and a vow to never be controlled again. But freedom throws her straight into the path of the one man she knows she shouldn’t trust. Her captor, her enemy, her reluctant savior... and the spark of a rebellion that could end her right along with it. Yet, every step they take together blurs the line between hatred and something far more dangerous. And with a mate determined to reclaim control, Elara finds herself unwilling to leave Xavier’s side, even as the secrets he keeps coil around her like a noose. Secrets that may be the root of everything she’s suffered. As tensions rise and war brews in the shadows, Elara is forced to confront the truth she’s been running from: trust is a weapon, desire is a battlefield, and choosing wrong could cost her far more than her freedom. With bloodshed looming and time slipping away, she must decide who to believe, what to fight for, and where she truly belongs... Before her heart, and her life, are claimed by forces she can no longer outrun. WARNING: This book is second in a series and must be read in order to be understood.

Thank you all so much for giving it any interest at all. I put a lot of work into this story as it is my first one because I really hope to create something enjoyable. I also hope it's a story that you can get lost in with complex characters, an interesting plot, and a play on certain stereotypes.

If you enjoy it please leave a like and comments on where you think it might go. I really enjoy any engagement from an audience because it does influence where the story may end up going!

Furthermore if you'd like any more engagement, here is a link to my playlist for this series, not meant to be played in any specific order but available for those who want even more immersion.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Rodela: I have been reading in Inkitt for quite some years now, but this is the 2nd time I am reading a story as well knitted as this one. The plot was as generic as possible, yet, it gave answers to many questions other werewolf stories couldn't. Most importantly, it made me realize what I want with my lif...

Ingibabes511: Beautiful storytelling, too short but crafted wonderfully, your ability to draw us in with just a few short descriptive nuances and I for one would not be unhappy if you decided to make this into a series following their lives, where we learn more about her goddess given talents and if they have pup...
