A Great Story That Kept Me Hooked Until the End
"I held off on writing this review until I finished the very last chapter to get the complete picture. I usually avoid books with heavy flashbacks because I prefer a straightforward flow, but the author transitioned between past and present so smoothly that I actually really enjoyed it. Even though the deep connection between the two leads is obvious, I personally felt like I needed just a bit more regarding their history and character growth. That’s just my subjective preference, though, since the core of this book is an emotional, inevitable second-chance romance. The world-building was a pleasant surprise! It’s totally outside of my usual comfort zone, but the author described it in such an interesting and engaging way. Aside from what might be a few tiny grammatical typos (though English isn't my first language, so it could just be me!), it was a great read. Overall, I really liked it and can't wait to see what the author writes next!"
