📖 Chapter 1 — This Time, I’m the Lead
It was a cold night in Seoul.
Han Jisoo lay on his bed, lazily scrolling through his phone.
“Girls, seriously… always the same nonsense stories,” he muttered, rolling his eyes.
On the screen, a popular romantic novel was open.
“Cold CEO… poor girl… love triangle… seriously? Who even likes this stuff?”
Jisoo let out a small laugh.
Just then, his younger sister walked into the room.
“Oppa! Don’t insult that novel, it’s the best!”
Jisoo smirked sarcastically.
“The best? If I were in that story, I’d just go straight to the airport… drama over.”
His sister narrowed her eyes.
“Then try it and see.”
“Challenge accepted,” Jisoo said with a grin, tossing his phone aside as he drifted off to sleep.
Morning…
“Sir… are you okay?”
Jisoo slowly opened his eyes…
But this wasn’t his room.
White walls… a luxurious bed… and a girl standing in front of him, looking concerned.
“Where… am I?”
Suddenly, flashes rushed into his mind…
A name… a story… a character…
His face went pale.
“Wait… this is that novel??”
And then came the biggest shock—
“I’m… I’m not the main lead??”
He rushed to the mirror… staring at his reflection in disbelief.
“Han… Jisoo… the second lead??!!”
The door opened.
The main heroine walked in… exactly the same as she was described in the novel.
Jisoo held his head in frustration.
“That’s it… I’m officially doomed.”
Then, slowly, a smile appeared on his face…
“But wait… if I already know the ending…”
A spark lit up in his eyes.
“This time… I won’t be the one who gets rejected.” 😏
