Prologue
Her look gave me shivers the first time I ever saw her. I did know who she was and realised immediately why my best friend had never let us meet. Because her gaze had goosebumps on my skin. A scream of danger flashed in my mind. She was breathtaking, stunning. Her red lips curled in a smirk when her eyes did not leave me. She was a huntress, a torturer, a killer. Craziest one of them. And I was her newest victim.
I was afraid when my heart skipped a beat. When my mind dreamed how it would feel to kiss her. How deeply her love would consume me. How hard it would be to say no to her.
My steady, clear life did not have room for her madness. I was the spoiled princess, the only child who would succumb to her parents expectations. I was once called a pastel pink nightmare, but it was a ruse. A girl who could stand up for others but not for herself. But she, however, was not asking for a place in my routine. She was ready to take it. Cut her way to my life, dip her knives in blood if needed. Fight for what she wanted.
