"I have absolutely been loving this story so far. There is a sizeable cast of characters introduced from the get, who can definitely take a chapter or two to get used to, but their personalities are all so different and loveable, and the interpersonal dynamics attention-grabbing, that it's easy to get lost in them. The humor is top-tier, including the neverending roast of Damon, and the dialogue is crisp and natural. I will definitely be reading more! #ICBC"
I've been grinning the whole time
"I'm not a fan of romcoms, but so far, this book has put a smile on my face and it's been there from parapgraph 2! The banter is very well flowed, the team you meet is fun and sweet and I love how they talk their boss up. If every team had this relationship, the world would have been a better place ;) The plot does seem a little too predictable, but the work is still very amusing and pleasant. I'll definitely stay on for the journey 🥰 #ICBC"

Lara and Damon are fantastic together, and the supporting characters are just as fun. Wen Ting is my favourite so far. 😊 I love how entertaining the interactions are, and honestly, I could read these characters bantering back and forth all day. Such a fun read!"
Unplanned Variables
"This story is so sweet! It's very enjoyable to read and I've caught myself smiling a few times throughout the chapter. With it being a military story, the additions of military lingo are built nicely into the world and naturally into the dialogue. All the characters are great so far. It's nice that they're all a little goofy and able to share banter with one another. I'm very excited to continue reading and see how Lara and Damon's story ends. "*cracks fingers* Right! So... You know the feeling you get when you read a story and you're like: "Yeah... this is my kind of story!" Well, Unplanned Variables was exactly that for me! Huh? Why? Ok then! Here we go! Plot: We follow the developing romance of Lara and Damian who, of all places, met on a damn plane! That alone should tell you enough! They immediately click and stick to each other like glue! I know most of us have been there, or at least I hope so! The way it's described in Unplanned Variables is EXACTLY how it feels in real life! And how it goes for that matter! Characters: Once again, not only are the FMC and the MMC amazing but also, the whole damn side cast is on point! Everyone serves a purpose! A best friend/wingman, a brother/voice of logic and many more! All sorts of personalities! All super fun! Dialogue: Dude... at this point, it is common knowledge how much I absolutely adore realistic, gritty dialogue. This is literally as good as it gets! Not a single damn line is wasted! It's either a snark joke/comeback, a touch of plot or even sometimes some "nice spice!" Or heck, a combination of them all! I could go on and on but, I wanna read more before I come back to edit this review! Until then, I'll be "flying" with Lara and Damian to the end of their story!"

"I really enjoyed reading this story, filled with humor, love, care, and friendship. The author did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life, each with their own personality and backstory, while making them all part of a close-knit circle of friends and family. ❤️ Lara and Damon’s relationship is built on respect, love, and support. What started as a joke on a plane gradually, yet surprisingly quickly, grew into a real and meaningful relationship. I loved how Lara’s cheerful, straightforward, and playful personality complements Damon’s more reserved and serious nature. They balance each other beautifully, bringing out sides of one another that might have otherwise remained hidden. Beyond the romance, I also loved the way their friends and family fit into the story. Their interactions add warmth, humor, and depth, making you feel like you’re part of their little world. It’s the kind of story that leaves you smiling and reminds you how beautiful it is to find someone who accepts you, supports you, and makes life a little brighter. 🥰"
I laughed, I teared up, I enjoyed the ride
"Unplanned Variables was such a fun read! Lara, who is from Singapore, and Damon, a member of the US Army, meet at the airport and discover they're sharing a flight to the States. Their chemistry is immediate, but with their lives rooted in two different countries, falling for each other isn't exactly simple. I loved/hated their long-distance romance, but the relationships with their families and friends made the story just as enjoyable. The dialogue was fantastic, the humor had me laughing out loud, and there were also a few moments that unexpectedly had me tearing up. This story kept me entertained from beginning to end."

"I’m still reading, but I’m really enjoying this story so far. Damon and Lara have such natural chemistry, and I love how their relationship keeps developing through the flirting, humor, and the more vulnerable moments between them. The banter is one of my favorite parts, especially with the rest of the gang constantly making things even more entertaining. I also really like what Lara brings out in Damon and how much softer and more open he’s becoming around her. It’s funny, sweet, and easy to get invested in, and I’m really looking forward to seeing where their relationship goes."

The group dynamic immediately stood out to me, the banter between the guys feels natural and gives each character personality without taking away from the developing romance. Lara is easy to like, and I especially enjoy the way the attraction is building between her and Damon through small looks, awkward moments, and plenty of teasing from everyone around them. It feels like we're getting the beginning of a genuine slow burn rather than an instant romance. There are also little hints that there’s more happening beneath the surface, especially with the mentions of Ghost, which have definitely made me curious. The combination of humor, friendship, military life, travel, and budding romance has made this a fun read so far. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when they finally reach Singapore!"

Fun to read
"I love reading books featuring cultures/backgrounds different from mine. I’ve never read a book with this setting and I love how Tamil is sprinkled in. The main characters fall for each other pretty quickly and engage in lots of banter. Sometimes the number of characters can be hard to keep up with, especially the MMC’s friends/coworkers. But I like the chemistry between them. I’m looking forward to how the plot develops and how the main couple overcome tensions. "

"Found your story on r/Inkitt. I am glad I stopped by for a read. I will continue reading when you post because I love the real world slant. The writing has real depth of character and feels like it is written from a point of lived experience authority. My only problem is Damon is a snoozer, and AJ, Tex, and even James have more personality. I feel like that is supposed to be the thing with him, but his entourage is funnier and more likable at this point."
