Summary

The ship is going to travel at warp speed, the crew wants to see what they can learn by going there. The alien races that have flown to our planet, have stayed away from us after we shot down a craft of theirs in the late 1940's in new mexico. We designed a carft to allow the ship to travel at warp speed. Our communication with the aliens has been none, they steer clear of us. We have a space port on the edge of where pluto flies into our solar system, but the aliens have avoided using this port. So we are unable to communicate with them in any way. But we know that they have flown onto our planet and have taken a looka t our races on the surface. We have divence of their doing this. by putting people who have stated that they have been taken aboard their space crafts and have been examined by them. WE have tried to capture the vessels that are doing this, but we are unable to do this.

Chapter 1

“We have to fly at the speed of light? Are you insane!” Chief Engineer Sydney Palit said his hands rested on the table top. His eyes were as large as dinner plates, and his fingers fidgeted about like mice seeing a hawk ceiling above them, they wanted to elude capture..

He looked at me almost as if say he had forgotten what rank I was to him, I thought I knew what he was about to ask me. That he wanted to jump my bones. But you see I am the captain of this vessel. I go by the name of Janice Mutta. I have blonde hair that falls to my shoulders in thick, unmanageable curls. He would be spending a great deal of time in the brig for daring or even to dream to dare to do this to me. I would no doubt do it to him. If you see the irony so to do I?

“I do not know, what he ws talking about. I knew he hadn’t forgot what he was told it would happen.” I said, He could be venting his fear to me. Perhaps that was all he was doing? Perhaps to have me be frightened of this task.

“I thought the scientist who suggested this was joking? He must have been!” Sidney Palit said as he looked at me.

“I wished I hadn’t taken this mission. From the texts I had read, there were a great deal of dangers in doing this. Decompression, or compression of the ship, could also happen. The fuel could expand and fill the ship with its lethal components if the pressure exceeded what the ship had been designed to maintain. We would be unable to communicate with the Earth ships here,“ Sydney said

“He wasn’t, and you knew this? Didn’t you?” I said and took a bite of my apple.

“I suspected it was impossible. I was given tests to do, but I did not think this was really what we are doing here.” Sydney said as he looked away, seeing a pilot walk toward my table, he smiled as she arrived, and he got up to his feet, moved the chair out so she could sit down there. When she sat down he began to move the chair under her to have her sit with us. She smiled as she sat down there.

“I passed them with ease,” he said slapping the table top. Flashing his smile at her.

“Don’t listen to him, he’s a bundle of nerves,” I said.

“With ease!” Sydney said, as he showed me teeth with a huge smile, I half expected him to lose his teeth when he did this like he did on an another occasion, .

The mess hall was huge. There were people of all cultures here. The aroma from the food was mouth-watering. The clothing was slacks for the guys, dress shirts, dresses, and skirts for the women, unless they were soldiers, then they wore slacks.

The pilot wore a leather jacket; her hands were in driver’s gloves. She brushed the red hair out of her eyes as she sat down. She laughed as she said, ”Captain, you’re sure you want to sit with him!” She laughed as she spoke,

“The crew knows what they should be able to do if they encounter any difficulties,” Sydney said he knew that he was the one to call.

“I know these things, but didn’t the scientist tell them any of this? Did he?” I said as he took a sip of coffee.

“Is he arguing again?” Jen said as she turned to face me.

“What do you mean again?” I said, glared at him.

“Yes, I want to know why he is so worried about us doing this? Aren’t you? Jen?” I asked.

“He feels that we could die doing this? Don’t you? Sydney!” Jen Mics said and looked at Sydney.

“Wouldn’t it be possible that we will die doing this? The pressure that the fuel will exert on the sides of its container could rupture the walls of the ship! Or the vacuum could crush us like a grape in a wine press,” Sydney suggested, he was smirking.

“I don’t think we’ll die doing this. Do you? Captain!” Jen said as she turned to face him.Jen did not appreciate his candor.

“I think we’ll be okay doing this! I certainly hope so.” I said.

.“So, why are you so sure? That we’ll die going there?” Jen said.

“I saw a card reader, she told me this,” Sydney said.

“So, that’s what makes you frightened, is it! They say this and that. Does it always happen that they are right!” I said as I looked at him, her form was as it always was. Confident and sincere

“In her statements made here, she dpes not realize what we are going to do,” Sydney said. His eyes were wide, the blood drained from his face, there was a frown on his face

“What are you so worried about? Haven;t we seen the spaceships that fly at warp speed. I know we have? Haven’t we?” I said.trying to calm his nerves I rose from my seat to rub his shoulders. They felt tense, his shoulders were like steel. He rolled his shoulders to further allow my hands to knead his shoulder more easily.

“There were spaceships that were flying at the speed of light! We have seen them and they are tiny in comparison to this monstrosity we are flying in,” Sydney said, “That’s the reason why?”.

“You know why our ship is this size. Don’t you! It has to be this size to contain and have us use the fuel we are using to fly at this speed,” Jen said as she rested her hand on his.

“These ships are flying at this speed. They are smaller by far from our own ship.” Jen said, “We tried to have them arrive at our space port. But they have rescinded our signal.”

Sydney said.“We have been using SETI signals to speak with them, but they refuse to speak to us.” Benjei said as he sat down with them

“I know this,” I said as I looked at him.“We haven’t been able to allow our scientists to make a ship smaller than what we have here!”

“ We had been trying to design the ship from what we had found in Roswell. We are unable to replicate a ship like it. The pressure exerted on its engines is very strong; our metals are unable to match the strength of their own ship’s engine. That is why the ship is going to do,” Sydney said

“Why is the ship so large? Because of what Einstein said about the theory of relativity, the ship would gain mass as it flies at this speed. The theory is all we have that allows us to try to fly at this speed. So, that’s why it is so large. We have not been able to build the housing that they have used on their space to fly at this speed,” Jen said as she looked at Sydney, and wished she hadn’t.

My crew was aware of the dangers that they may face upon traveling at warp speed. My crew has been trained in doing this for quite some time. We know that we will need a crew of criminals to aid us in doing this. We would need more people than we will start with. We were unsure if we could communicate with Earth after leaving the spaceport. There have been ships that have approached the port, but did not try to enter the port. Perhaps they were frightened of us being here.

These ships are not from Earth; we don’t know where they have come from. This ship has been able to fly at this speed or so we believed. Thanks to what we were able to learn from the spaceship that had crashed in the late 40s. The occupants seemed willing to help us to a degree that they have done this. They refused to try to help us communicate with the other races in space that have flown near our planet. We know that they are there. Thanks to them, a few of our air crafts have crashed on earth as they tried to intercept t

he crafts.

You see, we were unable to travel at warp forever. Our crew would begin to become tired of doing this, so we needed more people to break up the monotony of flying here. Our crew wasn’t able to communicate with these ships.. Or so we believed as we had gotten to our ship. We wanted to send a message but could not do this. The shuttle didn’t have enough shielding for the ship to fly there.

We were not sure if we could fly at warp; the atoms that are on the shielding would strip the

atoms of their electrons. It would be as dangerous as an atom splitter would be on the surface. The explosion that would occur would be 1300% larger than the ones dropped on Japan.

The criminals were taught quite a bit about space travel. They do not know that they will be

unable to communicate with Earth once we have gotten to fly at warp. The loneliness will weigh heavily on the crews who are there.

We are aware of them being able to reach warp speed, thanks to the people who were at Roswell. We used their ship to allow us to design the spaceship. The people there were willing to assist us in the design of the ship. The community had a spaceship that we shot down there. The vessel crashed into the earth, it was seen by the ranchers in the region.

The ranchers rode out to find out what had happened in the ranch area. The farmer went out to

explore the site. He saw four small beings with over sized cranium larger by far than our own, their fingers were thinner and longer than ours, these beings were injured in the craft. He put a couple of blankets on them. He did not know their genders.

He walked over, lifted some material from this ship, and brought it home to show it to the reporter he was talking to this morning. The reporter was impressed with what he had found at this site. He tld the reporter that he would take him there..

The military arrived when he had brought the the reporrer there a little later on. This was when the military arrived. They put soldiers there to guard the site. They were not going to allow the rancher and the journalist to view the craft. When they tried to walk toward the craft. The soldiers brought up their rifles to keep them away. They threatened to shoot at them.

The military talked with the reporter, who then decided to cancel the second story pertaining it..

The ranchers wanted to tell the truth. The rancher did not know how he could get the truth out there. The military talked to him as well. The rancher finally decided to as they asked.

But they did write about the saucer that crashed there. In the following years. The scientists have learned quite a bit about space travel from the occupants of the spaceship. It took them 200 years to design this craft. We were upon now.

The beings were not willing to allow them to communicate with their friends in space. We

believed that they felt that their people would not be pleased with us doing this. We suspected that they would not be received with open arms by their friends.

The beings did not give us any data to protect ourselves from other races in space. They did not

allow us to communicate with their people. Were they afraid of what the others of their kind would think?

Pelter wanted to make our crew aware that he was on board our ship. He headed to the laptop that sat on the desk beside the monitor. He touched the enter key. The computer screen showed a map of the ship that he was upon, or so he believed.

He looked at it for a few moments, and then he decided to try and send a message to me. The screen showed me. What I was looking at as if he was mystified by it, showing him Pelter as he sat on the chair before the laptop.

I said,” Yes. What do you wish to say?”

“I am Pelter. Thank you for bringing me here. I am thankful that you have put up with me, my friends.” Pelter said as he tried to see more of the place where he was on the ship. It looked like the book he had been given to allow him to see what the ship’s interior looked like.

’I am afraid we put up very little defense that will endanger this ship. Your action could serve as your undoing of all that has been offered to you. Do you understand what I am saying to you? I believe we can work together here for the best for the ship and you as well as I. Do you understand what I am saying to you?” I said as I watched his body language give nothing away like a man playing poker, not daring to hint at what cards he is holding in his hands. His bluff if that is what he doing is expertise in it. He betrayed nothing not even the slightice hint of it.

Pelter sat stokic and calm as the sea in a summer’s balm. He said, “I wish to speak with you privately if that is possible.

Another crew member in there with him was trying the computer to speak with her girlfriend on Earth, but she could not get through to her. What was wrong with this computer? They should be able to speak with the people on earth, shouldn’t they be able to do this? Should they not?

The person tapped Sydney on the shoulder to have him turn around and speak with her. She said,” The computer’s internet isn’t working?”

“Have we gone into faster-than-light travel?” Sydney asked as he watched my reaction to this question. My eyes widened in surprise.

The felons walked onto the gantry to see the spaceship. They looked at it and their mouths grew dry. The blood drained from their faces. The ship was several miles long; it looked like a monstrosity. There were windows on all sides of the vessel. A door rose as they walked into the ship so they did not have to worry about the atmosphere to breathe.

I looked at them from where I stood, watching them walk onto the gantry. They were dressed in spacesuits. They were being escorted by our police holding rifles in their hands.

The officers created a pathway that felons had to walk down to gain access to the ship. The felons walked between them. The largest man barged through the mass to arrive here first. He had a mustache and a beard; he was bald.

He looked up at me as I stood there watching them gain access to the ship. I was watching from the balcony to see them. He interested me. He advanced onto the mesh cage that served as the floor. A glass surface rose to keep him there. He looked at the screened window, it was designed to keep the atmosphere in the chamber.

The large man looked up, and his eyes rested on me. He walked past the first set of guards. He strode toward what looked to be an elevator for him to enter. The elevator did not move. He swung a fist at the panel. He stepped backwards to grab the guard on the right side by the shoulder.

The officer stepped out of his path. The guard smirked at him as if he would have to learn a lot before he could do this.

The elevator opened, and out strode two doctors having no helmets and they did not have the oxygen tanks. The doctors walked over to him. The brown haire doctor grabbed him by an arm. The other to stripped off the glove on his right hand. He did this and the other member put a syringe into his arm which he removed from a bag on this doctor’s hip. They carried him into the elevator.

He struggled to be free from their grasp, but they would not have it. His head fell to his chest, and he began to collapse onto the floor. The other felons looked at him with disbelief in their eyes. The rest went with him without any further ceremony.

The doctors carried him to his room. He was still asleep. There were three other members sent with him to allow him to be removed from his suit. He was a big man. He shook his head as he became conscious, spit fell from his mouth with threads that were there.

“What happened to me?” he asked closed his hands as he looked at the three other members there.

A lanky man lifted his gloves up from where they presently rested on the bed. He smiled sinisterly at him and said, “They gave you a shot to have you fall unconscious! Pelter Benedict!”

“The bastards. I will give them a reason for them to fear me!” he said, as he tried to further awaken himself. He felt groggy; his head was swimming. His vision weaved in and out. He tried to come to his feet.

“Easy Pelter. They know you may pose a threat to them,” The short woman said as she rubbed some oil into his skin. She was redheaded, hot as a firebrand if provoked.

“Susan. Thank you for the advice. I will have to bide my time with them. Any idea as to what they want us to do for them?” , Pelter asked as he turned to face her. There were two queen-size beds, and comforters were on it. There were two laptop computers there. There were two sets of dresser drawers, the room was spacious. White as starlight in color.

“Did you take with you what I would need to secure my position here?” Pelter asked as he lifted his hands to draw up the duffel bag that Susan carried slung over her shoulder. She winked at him as he opened the bag.

He found what he was looking for. He found the handle with its extension of eighteen feet. He lifted the whip from the bag. He smiled and drew Susan into his massive chest with his arms embracing her. He French kissed her. The other two in the room looked at them.

Vickie Sununu said, “So, you have it. But what do you think you’re getting to do with it,” as she stretched her legs out, to show off her best features. She was dressed in a full bodysuit, which had a red corset design her appendages were in black floral lace. Her hair was to her neck in brunette color, lips crimson as fresh blood. Nails were an inch long.

The fourth person was a female as well; she was a redhead, her hair was long, reaching to the small of her back. She had both of her hands on her hips. A cigarette hung from her lower lip, and smoke wafted upwards from it.

As the felons walk across the mesh floor, a woman guard removed her helmet with the aid of another soldier as they walked across the mesh the window rose up from the floor to sealk off the room from the others on this level. and begins to talk with one of the guards. She put her helmet beneath her arm. She asked, “What is your name?”

The female guard \ looked at her. She smiled and said, “Sasha, is my name. What’s yours?”

“Kimberly, is mine. Would you want to join me afterwards,” Kimberly winked at her?

Sasha led her to her room. Sasha knew she would have to help her undress to be able to join the crew of the ship. Sasha said, “I will have to help you out of the suit you’re wearing.”

“I thought as much. I would like that to happen,” she said as they continued down the hallway, taking several turns as they moved toward Kimberly’s door.

The door opened as she arrived there, Sasha walked into the room and began to help her remove the suit from Kimberly’s body. Kimberly smiled as the suit came off. It seemed she was given a room to herself, and she saw Sasha retrieve a card from her pocket to insert it into the door.

The door opened.

“Will you be back?” Kimberly said and hoped she would be

Sasha said, “Yes, I will when I get everyone back to where they belong.” She swung her hip to accent what she was s looked about the room, there was a laptop, The bed looked luxurious with a duvet on the bed. There was a mirror over the dresser drawers.
