Chapter 1
**HIS FAULT**
Why expectations are all over?
Is a question he needs to answer,
Making exceptions till they are all over,
This is what I must do faster.
My rotation keeps on changing clockwise
'Cause his time is running out,
And he needs to make a turn
'Cause the weight of the pressure feels like a ton.
And eventually, it leads to a whole community
Of influential massacre,
Of that car they burnt—
Policemen in the tanker, they can’t forgive...
Given that they are driven
By the echoes of machismo,
And it sounds like the scream of war,
The knight in shining armor they wore.
In the night, the bullet it tore,
It made a hole that made a whole life disappear,
As it pierced—
Our families fear as they steer and head us.
Raising guns at the heads of our sons,
For when I scream, she screams—
We all scream for one thing: to be heard.
But we silence and call it "being hard,"
Yes, it’s hard for the boy child,
So they secure in the shadows of pride and pretence,
Burning their pain and leaving their insides in ashes.
Believing their silent cry leaves,
But it leaves them in dashes—incomplete.
Let them in, 'cause it’s cold outside,
While he is burning inside.
Ask the jail warden;
They tire of seeing their fellow boys in tires.
He fears 'cause he didn’t live up to your expectations
That are dire.
Because he isn’t "man enough,"
He isn’t huff and puff,
He isn’t rough and tough—
For he is human enough.
He’s home from a long day of work,
A peace of mind he lacks,
So he secures in a piece of weed
That weeds his mind even more.
But takes him to a land far, far away,
Where he lands in a "free-dorm,"
Where freedom is free—
But in reality, the price to pay makes him high enough.
And now he watches as his world falls apart,
He looks at his watch and sees that it's time for change,
And he notices one more thing:
His insides are withering from the weed.
His mind doesn’t mind if he is sane,
'Cause he’s a madman—
Mad at what he did,
His heart hurts and his tears overflowing from a dam.
But he still fears, and damn—
He broke the inside and the outside,
When it was clearly time to stand aside,
When he only sought a peace of mind.
Now he can’t piece his thoughts, he’s lost his mind.
But one thing is clear:
He did this,
But it’s not all his fault.
