Chapter 01:The Dream

I didn’t know his name.

I didn’t know where he came from.

But the moment I saw him… something inside me knew him.

It didn’t feel like I was meeting a stranger.

It felt like I had found someone I didn’t even realize I was missing.

Everything about that moment felt different. Softer. Slower. Like the world had quieted down just for us.

I wasn’t alone.

My younger brother was there too, and I remember feeling overwhelmed—trying to take care of him, trying to do everything right, trying to be strong.

And somehow… he noticed.

Without asking, without making it a big thing, he stepped in and helped me.

It was simple.

But it meant everything.

He didn’t make me feel weak.

He didn’t make me feel like a burden.

He made me feel safe.

And that feeling… it stayed.

We spent time together, talking, laughing, sharing moments that felt too deep for something that had just begun.

It didn’t feel rushed.

It didn’t feel forced.

It just… happened.

And somewhere between those quiet moments—

Without even realizing it—

I fell in love with him.

Then everything changed.

I felt it before he even said anything.

He had to leave.

The world around us shifted, like something was pulling him away from me, and I wasn’t ready.

Not yet.

Not when I had just found him.

Before I could think, I ran to him.

I wrapped my arms around him tightly, holding on like if I let go, I would lose him forever.

“So… you’re going?” I asked softly.

“Yes,” he said.

That one word felt heavier than it should have.

Like distance had already started growing between us.

My heart didn’t hesitate.

“I love you,” I said.

The words came out so easily, like they had been waiting for that moment.

There was a pause… a quiet, still moment where everything seemed to stop.

Then he spoke.

“I will come back for you.”

His voice was calm, certain—like a promise he believed in.

I held onto those words with everything I had.

“I will be waiting,” I replied.

And just like that…

We let go.

He walked away slowly, becoming smaller, fading into the distance until I couldn’t see him anymore.

But somehow…

It didn’t feel like the end.

It felt like something unfinished.

Like a story that wasn’t over yet.

And then—

I woke up.
