Hello, my name is Sheeran Wells, I was born and raised in California, but currently we are in Seminyak, Bali.

Yes, Bali, we all made the trip from California to Bali, about a 14-16 hour flight, all because my best friend Mika wanted her destination engagement in Bali.

On her behalf — myself, her, our three friends and one of our friend's sisters because she's just like a friend to us, her two cousins.

On her fiancé's behalf — him, his three cousins, and four friends — and by the way, off-topic, one of them is my lost middle school crush.

The two of them had booked an entire side of a not so large but luxurious hotel near the beach for us, and now we are in cars sent by the hotel management, and I am feeling the worst jet-lag of my life.

"So guys, I have got the suite keys from reception, I'll give them to you but there's a slight catch"

Dean - Mica's boyfriend announced as we all were gathered in the corridor.

"So the twist is that in this container is the chits of all of yours name and we will pick out two chits and whosever two's name came out will be the roommate for the whole time of our stay "

Mica continue, her voice loud and clear and was excitedly helding up a container filled with colourful folded papers in it.

Some of us hoots, some make animestic noises and others shoke their head - including me too.

"Heyy don't do this, we are the host" Dean said firmly "and you had too do whatever we says" And Mica finishes his sentence.

Woww they both hadn't engaged yet like they had in private but not officially, yet syncing together word-to-word.

One by one they took out chits -

Two of his cousin brother got together, they hooted excited.

Then two of her cousin sisters got together and they both giggles.

Then came two our friend Jules and Olivia, both look at each other smiling, happy.

Then Natalie and Bella— Olivia sister, who hugged each other jumping.

And wow from our side only I had remain because the to-be fiance and fiancee will have their whole own damn suite - which I know is unfair but ahhh.

And from Dean side, his friends and one guy cousin and one annoying witch cousin.

See I'm not a girl who abuse but she deserves it because whey Dean and Mica was in relationship, she used to droll herself over him which is a witch-behaviour, according to our friends.

Then his two friends - Chloe and Luca got together.

Which leaves me, his two cousin and my long lost crush.

And let me tell you— the tension was palpable, if not for others but to me for sure.

Because I don't want to share my time with my friend's enemy, as she's annoying.

And then not with his other cousin too as I don't know him, and it feels awkward to my inner self.

Which left him?

And no, never ever in my dream I want to share same place with him as my brain will not even work functionally in his presence and i would end up embraasing myself in front of him.

"So it's our last round" Mica said excitedly "as we all know after this round the remaining two person will become the partners automatically, soo let's do it" she was practically jumping.

"Sheeran" Dean said.

And wait for Mica, but she didn't said the name of her chit, she got silent for a second, making me more tense, anxious.

Dean brows furrowed, he leaned at her shoulder to look, his eyes widened like he got shocked and he was about to say something but....

Mica beat him to it and announces-

"Watson" Her voice felt a little quick, breathless to me.

What, him?

Like Watson— the middle school crush Watson.

The tall, handsome Watson.

Ahh what I'm thinking.

But, I swear I felt like she had done something to Dean with her shoulder or eyes because, he looked really confused at her announcement.

Everyone smiles, excited for finally going to their room after long day, to see how's it and tired, they took their keys from dean and move forward.

But I felt something wrong, so I moved toward Mica to see the name on chit but before I can go near her or look at the chit, she throws it away into the bin and walked far away from me and dean tagging along with her.
