Preface
Some towns have stories, Crystal Cove has secrets.
I didn’t come here looking for trouble. Honestly, I didn’t come here looking for anything at all. Just another town, another fresh start… or at least, that’s what I told myself.
But places like this don’t stay quiet for long.
People talk about ghosts, monsters, things that go bump in the night. I used to think they were just stories—something to keep kids entertained and tourists interested. Turns out, I might’ve been wrong.
Or maybe… not entirely.
Because the truth about mysteries isn’t that they exist.
It’s that someone is always hiding something.
And when you start pulling at the threads, you don’t just find answers—you find people who really don’t want those answers to be found.
This story isn’t about heroes. It’s not about monsters or ghosts either.
It’s about the thin line in between... ah i don't know.
So if you’re reading this, just remember one thing: In Crystal Cove…nothing is ever exactly what it seems.
