Chapter 1
A world “Velaris” is a world, where thousands rich with forgotten and unforgettable histories recorded in ancient scrolls and modern books with a God, known as Al-Varis.
Its land stretched across rock mountains, rivers, seas, deep ponds, home to both harmless creatures and dangerous ones.
Some even whispered that spiritual beings, demonic souls and hidden magic slept beneath Velaris.
In the shadows, disguised organisations plotted to seize control of the world. No one knew what disaster is waiting ahead. But one thing was certain–humans remained the greatest enemy humans.
It is also a world where love is defined as “Dominancy”, happiness is defined as “Compromise”, and marriage is defined as “Chains” . And there is an innocent girl bounded into an “Oath” with a person known as the Devil by everyone.
When the day was about to rise, the sounds of the birds started to be heard, and the snow was falling like fluffy cotton balls.
A girl was born on June 16, eyes were round with sparkling brown eyeballs, which felt like she had gotten the features of a deer and cat's eyes.
Her hair was thick shinny black colored telling how the color of sorrow can be beautiful.Like the weather can be seen outside of the hospital, her face was snowy and her skin was pure and soft like a fluffy cotton ball.
If you touch her skin, it could leave a red mark like strawberry on her face. Her smile and voice were so cute that you couldn't hold yourself from loving such a beautiful child.
And you will start questioning God, how He could make such a mesmerising creature and send an angel from the heavens to the earth.
A nurse entered and congratulated the woman, who was her biological mother, Elif Orhan.[Congratulations!! Mrs.Orhan, on your first….delivery!!!!!] The nurse smiled so brightly that you could see her expressions from her face telling how happy she was seeing Elif’s child.
And continued, [I'm wondering if this cotton ball has stolen Mr. Orhan's facial features or yours Miss!] She giggled and passed the baby to Elif before leaving the room with both the mother and daughter.
Drops trickled from Elif’s face, holding her child having mixed feelings of loneliness and happiness at the same time.
The baby giggled and held her mother's index finger, opening her beautiful eyes for the very first time only for her mother to tell her not to cry and feel alone because she was here for her to take all the pain and help her to ease her mind.
She kissed her daughter's forehead and wiped her tears. Hearing the baby's laughter almost forgetting what she was feeling before.
Suddenly she thought about something and said while looking at her daughter,[I'm happy for your arrival, my dear child, and afraid of what will happen if you'll be “

From… from being helpless when you really wanted to be free but couldn't be allowed to live freely…]Her child looked at her with curiosity, and tried to understand what her mother was talking about, then suddenly started laughing in a cute way.
Mother caressed her face while wiping her tears.

Suddenly the phone rang…
Elif looked at the phone, hoping to see the name she was waiting for.
But her hope faded soon.
After confirming the name of the caller, her expression darkened with sadness.She picked up the call with a sweet tone.[Hohoho, Congratulations to my sister-in-law!! I can't believe we got a newborn baby in our Sha family. Hohoho!]It was the baby's granduncle, Baran Sha Kaelis Novan, the eldest son of Novan Sha belonging to the Sha family.
Elif smiled while contnuing, [Yes, First Brother, it's a blessing that you've gotten such a beautiful niece.]
Baran laughed again with joy and said, [Of course she will be born a beautiful child because she got genes from her ancestors, Hohoho!]He stopped and said, [O my naive sister-in-law, you haven't sent me the picture of my dear niece. Send me right now, so that I can congratulate my brother too!]
Elif accepted his offer and sent him her daughter's picture, where she was sleeping soundly.
She put the phone aside and thought,[What if your father was the one to congratulate me on your birth.. Is it that hard to come and greet us? He hasn't visited since I came to the hospital not even in the moment you were born…]
Wiping her tears again and caresses her daughter's cheek softly, she thought again, [I know how hard it is for him because he can't make time for us.]

Elif hugged her daughter and lay down on the hospital bed, patting her daughter's forehead, singing a lullaby.

in Drosvane,At the office where the shiny glass windows are opened by a 35 year old man, his brown eyes can sparkle when the light hits on his eyes and his shiny thick black hair folded backwards, which can show how a disciplined man can also define his personality.
His walk was enough to make the hearts of all employees jump with fear.He never talked rudely to anyone but his voice was enough to cut through anyone who didn’t want to offer loyalty.
He was a man with a soft heart for his family but a fierce gaze only for those who had taken him lightly, confusing his softness with weakness.
He entered, and some of the employees started whispering while others tried to signal each other with their eyes to stop talking.
One of the employees said, [Hey, what do you think of the Chief's mood today?]
The other whispered,[If we talk right now, after he entered the meeting room, I'm damn sure he will kill us simply with his gaze.]
The third employee added,[Wait, guys…Don't you know that the Chief's wife has been in the hospital for two weeks? I heard, she is expecting a baby-]
The first employee got excited,[Wow! Really?? Then isn't he supposed to be happy and with his wife at this moment? What is he doing here instead of staying by her side?]
The second employee said,[Jeez, you both are stupid enough to understand. He might not be interested in the delivery, that's why he's focusing on his future instead of being with his wife in this condition. You know, some men focus on their future goals rather than spending time on love.]
He shrugged his shoulders.The third employee added, [Hey, I think it's a girl, maybe that's why he's ignoring his wife, right? If my wife were in that situation I'd be happy to have a child rather than ignoring my own wife just because it's a girl or a boy.]
The other two nodded in agreement with the third employee and were caught by a fierce gaze. And they knew exactly whose gaze it was.
The Chief walked towards his chair and threw a file on the sleek black and silver table and said,[Who do you all think I am? I'm Orhan Sha Virelle Novan! The heir of the Sha family who's doing his business with such uninterested people who don't even know how to work according to their company's needs? I haven't seen such clueless and lazy people ever in my life. Now I'm hoping that after reviewing this document by you all, I'll get a new one.]
He continued, [And a proper document from each employee at the end of this week in the next meeting without any errors. Just remember, I..Don't..Like..Delays..Neither..Any..Errors… And..If..You..All..Can't…Persuade..A..Client..With..Your..New..Project… Then I won't think twice before discarding you from this company. Understand?]
