Chapter 1
Some people meet like weather systems. Pradhana Adipramana-Kusuma and Ellizabeth Svensen met in a Heathrow terminal and have been destroying things together ever since.
He is a fixer without a country, a ghost with a Rolex and a burned passport and a brother whose sin he has been carrying for twelve years. She is a Viking with Nordic ink and a knife she never quite puts down and a mother she has been trying to avenge since she was old enough to understand what a dock looks like at night.
They are not good for each other. They are not good for most things. But they are each other's most legible danger, and in their world, that is the closest thing to home.
Love comes uninvited. Consequences knocks on the door.

Right, you’ve met “the story teller” me.
He’s... poetic. Me... not so much.
I wrote this with what it’s called ‘AI-assisted’.
Plot, me. Dialogues, me.
Characters? I know what they ate on this exact date five years ago.
Places? I researched and google-earth-ed every step.
Basically, if there’s anything the AI did was the lighting and the air freshener’s smell. I hope that you’d enjoy the story as much as I do with the new kind of typewriter that I’m using.
‘Perfect’ is a word that is two galaxies away from the story.
So please, don’t be gentle, stab on it. I’ll eat it whole and raw. Not so much on the ‘raw’ part, but still...
And try to keep the kids away from the (X) sign.
