Chapter 1
‘Bang bang bang ’ in an abandoned factory in the outskirts of city Y, gunshots rang out non-stop. I sat on my motorcycle speeding up to the factory as I could hear the gunshots as I got nearer. My face turned cold and I decisively took out my gun as well.
I parked my motorcycle in the bushes and ran into the factory. I maneuvered my way through the rains of bullet coming at me when I entered and also fired dozens of bullet at the gangsters. Ha!! Wanna kill me? Dream on.
My name is Athena Luna,the only daughter of the leader of the chamber of commerce ‘Dead of Night’. Well... in as much as we protect the business world,we wipe off those who go against the Mafia rules in the underworld. We’ve been given permission to do so by the government officials since my dad is an old friend of the president.
We don’t really depend on this though. My dad is a business tycoon owning tons of hotels and restaurants as well as companies all over the globe. You can just say our family is fucking loaded. Dad’s out of town for business so I’m in charge since my brothers are also out of town running their own business.
Just as I was preparing to go to bed,I received a notice about the ambush taking place in the factory on the outskirts. And just like that,I was there in 7 minutes. I hide behind a huge cargo box in the factory as I surveyed my surroundings. Tsk tsk! I should have sent one of the boys to come do this dirty laundry.
I climbed up the box and looked around. I frowned at the bloody scene around me and almost wretched. “Hey guys” I waved getting everyone’s attention. As soon as they saw me,they all aimed the guns at me. “Relax people. Are you really in a hurry for your deaths?” I sneered. I simply twisted my body a bit and rains of poisonous silver needles shot out hitting them all in a heartbeat.
From the corner of my eyes,I saw one of the men slipping out quietly. I gave a wicked smile. Ohh well...I might as well find out which organization this is. Let him go back to report the situation. I sighed. I jumped down, intending to head back when something caught my eye. I walked to one of the dead guy and check his shoulder.
There! A tattoo of a small butterfly stood out. My eyes turned cold and I checked the others as well. Seems like no investigation is needed. I silently walked out of the factory. Three minutes later,a motorcycle sped into the city, roaring but fleeting.
*The next day*
I walked into my school looking fresh and cool. At the entry,I met my good friend,Ina. “Morning” I said smiling at her. She hooked my arm with hers dragging me to our classroom. On our way, she informed me. “My twin brother is coming to school today” I raised an eyebrow. Ohh! “I’m expecting him then” little did I know at that time that this brother of hers would be my worst nightmare.

A young man in his teens sat on a couch in his study staring at his two friends in front of him looking annoyed. “Do we really need to go back to school? Especially you,after all these certificates?” One of them wined in this pleasure. The boy on the couch snorted coldly “do you even know what we call having fun and enjoying teenagehood?” He asked his eyes narrowing.
The poor guy who questioned earlier’s breath hitched and he let out a muffled groan. “Anything goes” he surrendered. “We start school on Monday” the boy muttered. “Got it” his two friends sighed. They’ll never go west if he said go east. They were good buddies anyway.
