Chasing Tigers Through Silence and Sound
Thanks for being here. Seriously.
Some love stories start with a look across a room. This one started with a man sitting alone in the dark, listening to a strangerโs voice, and recognizing something in her music that heโd never been able to name in himself.
Craig isnโt a romantic in the traditional sense. Heโs analytical, controlled, the kind of person who understands emotion better when itโs filtered through someone elseโs art. And then Lizet happens to him, and none of that armor is worth anything anymore.
She warns him. More than once, clearly, at a cliffโs edge with the ocean behind her. He stays anyway. Thatโs the whole story, really -- not the music, not the fair, not even the concert at the end. Itโs the moment a person decides that someone worth the risk is still worth it, even after theyโve told you exactly how itโs going to hurt.
I loved writing these two. I hope you feel it.
