Chapter 1: Chaotic Scene
Beckett Kai/Buck Hammerlocke found himself at a very troubled scene with poor Awax Kalenda doing his best to please Sora Son. Sora was immediately thrilled seeing upon Buck being present. Dean Longstreet and Colonel Rex MacManners did their best trying to stay out of it.
“This is great, she loves Buck!” laughed Colonel Rex.
“Are you sure it’s him and not Beckett?” asked Dean.
“Yep, it’s him” replied Colonel Rex.
Colonel Rex knew Buck’s civil trial was going to happen within a few weeks and they needed to keep a low profile. But having Sora being likely pregnant would make things a little more complicated.
“You know what I should have done?” asked Buck to both of them, “I should have not been so arrogant.”
Buck was right, he had improved thanks to Beckett being the cooler head with inside of him. Beckett did his best by staying out of it as he sat back and watched Buck give Sora a big hug.
“Oh, I missed you so much!” cried Sora.
Awax shook his head in disbelief.
“You mean to tell me that’s all she wanted?” asked Awax.
Awax nearly fainted over this, he could tell that Buck was her guy after all.
“Please, please tell me when are you going to take her off my hands” said Awax.
Dean and Colonel Rex could clearly see that Awax was quite exhausted taking care of Sora for the short period. Dean and Colonel Rex would have to think of a plan.
“I know somebody in the witness protection program that could get Sora a good career” said Colonel Rex.
“It better not be anything crazy, because we’ve had enough of it already” said Dean.
Everyone had to keep Buck in his place, making sure he would always be around with Sora. There was the issue with Beckett’s parents. Kari and Kenneth would be furious if Beckett was involved in getting a woman pregnant. The colonel would be the one to handle that problem next.
“Don’t worry Beckett, if you’re inside Buck somewhere I will handle your parents” said Colonel Rex.
Beckett knew this was quite a bad sign for him as he got up from his seat. Buck could tell that Beckett really wanted to be present.
“Um, if anything I am coming along with the colonel in your place” said Dean.
Dean was smart doing that, hoping to show that he also screwed up and was willing to share the blame. Beckett was somewhat relieved by that as he sat back in his seat. Buck did his best trying to control Sora.
“Don’t leave me Buck, please stay with me!” cried Sora.
Awax knew he now had two mouths to feed. The colonel and Dean headed out.
“Don’t worry, we’ll be back, should probably take us at least a day” replied Colonel Rex.
Buck sighed feeling that he had a lot to learn on what Beckett stated earlier to him about this being the real world instead of a video game world that he was use to.
