Time quickly passed. Although it seemed like a second, it was full of so many things, And the Bright family is now going through a new era, the four girls are part of it.
Alice was soon turning 20, In the new era, Cata changed her personality and became a fan of heart shapes, Cato became even STRONGER, Pinky has a baby girl… what about Alice though? We will see in the story.
One day, Alice was kind of bored of her daily routine, which was mostly cooking. She wasn’t motivated to set a goal because Cata was having a difficult time setting one. But now Cata had already set her goal and was working on achieving it, which was more renovations for Planttopia and making new designs in her new style.
Alice decided to try something new until she sees what happens. She decided to try ✨Gourmet Cooking✨.
She installed an AI chat app since it was new to Plant Kingdom and asked it for ALL gourmet recipes. She kept trying each one, spending her whole day cooking, stuffing Cata and Cato, and selling them.
Later she got tired and decided to nap, expecting to wake up at the pot’s alarm but she fell DEEEEEP ASLEEP.
Cato wasn’t even in Planttopia because she was training her warriors, while Cata was almost finishing her shift as a doctor.
In the clinic:
Manhattan: “Well, we are done for toda—”
Cata: “YAY! Now I should bring you to my palace. How does that sound? I need to show you how wealthy I am.”
Manhattan: “Sure.”
So while Cata was driving Manhattan on the way, IN HER PINK CAR 💕 the alarm rang, and Alice was deeply asleep and didn’t even hear it… and slowly, it started burning.
Cata arrived proudly, ready to show Manhattan her palace, then noticed a burnt smell and dark smoke coming from the kitchen.
They were both shocked and immediately ran toward the smoke. Cata was stunned.
Manhattan used his water powers from the ring they both put out the fire, revealing a black piece in the pot.
Cata: “Did Alice really……”
Manhattan: “I think so.”
Then Alice came after just waking up, totally oblivious to what happened.
Alice: “What’s this, Cata? Did you cook a burnt bread?”
Cata: “What do you mean?! THAT’S YOUR FOOD!”
Alice: “My… food? I’ve never burnt any food unless my uncle hit me…”
Cata: “You just went to catch some Zz’s and left it on the stove!”
Alice: “I see…”
Cata: “Well next time, you need to take actual breaks without leaving something on the stove.”
And Manhattan was watching them, trying hard not to laugh.
The next day, Alice was thinking of a decision she should take once she achieved a high skill in gourmet cooking. She decided to spend another day trying until she became PERFECT at it, but taking proper breaks like Cata told her.
Alice also told Cata to take care of her patisserie temporarily since she was good at baking and being a cashier, as it was normal for princesses of any of the three plant kingdoms to do that.
A week later, Alice became kind of perfect at it. Cata recommended letting people taste her food because everyone deserves to enjoy food! (Except for bratties.)
While Alice was interested in making money out of this food, and since she was already wealthy, she talked about the first idea that came to her mind, expand her patisserie into a restaurant which would offer all types of food.
Cata got really excited and suggested she could redesign it in a welcoming way.
And Cato suggested she stays in the palace and reads a book since that didn’t relate to her role right now..

But Alice suggested that since she was a fan of cooking, she could be “the chef’s assistant!” The moment she said that, she realized a proper restaurant needs lots of chefs.
She made an advertisement for any professional chef to work at the new restaurant, and some familiar people agreed, like Panthero, (Cato’s Warrior friend ) her friends Emma and Ethan (a couple), some girls from the kingdom, Alissa, and an adult, Matilda.
Alice was anxious in the first week, but Cato decided to help her since she had no tasks to do, while Cata decorated the restaurant. Cata got Manhattan’s help to make large sculptures of the shapes she desired, like a large cake, and she painted it. She also made small meal sculptures to decorate shelves inside the walls to increase appetite. Alice gave Cata some blue silk from her silkworms, and Cata made blue and gold silk curtains. The restaurant was decorated in a blue and gold theme. There were seats upstairs and outside as well. But it was more tempting inside, the large windows, silk curtains, and tables with a vase holding a white rose.

The restaurant became famous in less than a month. It was known for its inviting decoration AND its great food. This even boosted the reputation of Plant Kingdom in the new era after the sudden downfall that happened during the disaster. Alice’s favorite spot in the restaurant was the kitchen itself. There, she was the head chef among people who loved cooking like her.
Cata and Pinky were the waitresses until more staff could be hired. (Cata didn’t mind as long as Alice was sharing the money 😈) Every day, the restaurant got more and more people. So Alice quickly expanded the outdoor area, and Cata decorated it. But then orders became too much for the chefs to handle. It stressed Alice so much she was almost going to regret everything, but then Cata entered the room to check on her.
Cata felt concerned seeing Alice so negative for the first time in a while. She sat next to her and they talked.…
