The abduction
The evening air was cool and soothing as Lizzie hurried down the street toward her favorite coffee shop, craving the rich taste of cappuccino. The soft breeze brushed against her skin, carrying the calming scent of lavender through the city. It was the perfect evening—peaceful, beautiful, and ordinary.
Stepping into the cozy café, Lizzie ordered her usual: a full, creamy cup of cappuccino. She wrapped her fingers around the warm cup, savoring every luxurious sip as the sweet, velvety taste melted on her tongue. For a brief moment, all her worries faded away.
But as the last drop disappeared, Lizzie knew it was time to head home. Her parents would surely be worried if she stayed out too long.
With one final glance at the café, she stepped outside and began her journey home, her lips still tingling from the creamy sweetness of her drink. The streets were quiet, the dim glow of evening lights guiding her path.
Soon, she reached the entrance to the city’s most feared shortcut—an alley wrapped in chilling rumors.
The haunted alley.
Whispers about it had spread throughout the city for years. People claimed that anyone who entered its shadowy depths never returned. Others believed the alley held strange secrets, leading to every hidden home in the city. Yet no one had ever dared to uncover the truth.
Lizzie’s heart raced as she paused at its entrance. She should have taken her usual route home. She knew that.
But then… she heard it.
Voices.
Faint, unsettling noises drifted from deep within the dark tunnel, pulling at her curiosity. Her parents’ warnings echoed in her mind, urging her to turn back.
Yet something felt strangely irresistible.
It was as if an unseen force was drawing her in.
Before she could stop herself, her feet began moving toward the alley. Slowly… cautiously… Lizzie stepped into the darkness.
The deeper she went, the louder the mysterious voices became.
Her breathing quickened.
Then, through the shadows, she saw it—a hidden shop tucked along the right side of the alley.
And standing there were three men dressed entirely in black.
Their presence was terrifying. Their expressions were cold, fierce, and unsettling.
One of them turned sharply, his piercing glare locking onto Lizzie.
Fear exploded in her chest.
She stumbled backward, desperate to escape—but it was too late.
A rough hand shot out and grabbed her wrist before she could flee.
“What are you doing here?” one of them demanded darkly. “Haven’t you heard the rumors about this alley?”
Lizzie’s throat tightened. Panic consumed her, leaving her unable to speak. Her body trembled violently as she struggled to form words.
“Let… me… go…” she whispered weakly.
But they didn’t release her.
Terror surged through her veins as she opened her mouth to scream for help—
But in an instant, one of the men pressed a white handkerchief tightly over her mouth.
A harsh chemical scent invaded her senses, burning through her nostrils.
Lizzie fought desperately, but her strength faded within seconds.
Her vision blurred.
Her body grew limp.
And then…
Darkness.
The alley fell silent once more, as though nothing had happened.
No screams.
No struggle.
No trace of Lizzie remained.
By morning, the city would awaken to yet another chilling disappearance.
And deep within the cursed alley…
Lizzie’s true nightmare was only just beginning…
