"I genuinely think this story has a lot of potential and, at its core, it’s really good. The emotional beats land, the characters feel alive, and there’s a clear intention behind every major moment. It’s the kind of story that already knows what it wants to be—which is honestly half the battle. That said, I also feel like there are certain areas that could be trimmed or even removed entirely. Some scenes or lines feel a bit repetitive or overly extended, and tightening those parts would make the story hit harder and flow more smoothly. Right now, the story sometimes lingers a little too long where it doesn’t need to. In terms of writing style, I think my voice is strong and distinct. There’s a poetic, emotional quality that works really well for this kind of story. However, the biggest issue I noticed is consistency in POV. There are moments where the perspective shifts in a way that can feel confusing or break immersion. Fixing and committing to a clear POV would significantly elevate the overall reading experience. Technically, the writing is decent, but still needs refinement—especially in terms of structure and clarity. A more thorough edit would help polish the story into something much stronger. Overall, I believe this story is already compelling, but with some trimming and better POV control, it could become something truly impactful."
